Economou Mansion

Very lovely old mansion (sea captain’s house I think?) in a great location. Breakfast by the pool was wonderful, as is swimming in the pool. The rooms are very comfortable and I loved mine right on the water. The shop next door has wonderful things (it’s owned by the people that own the hotel) and I love the location, just a little out of town but with many restaurants. This hotel is a great value for the money. Only thing is the owners should get a Magic Eraser and clean the dead mosquito streaks off the walls. That was kind of gross. Bring mosquito repellent; but that’s the case of many hotels in Greece so we can’t fault them for that.

Excellent, traditional Greek hospitality. Friendly and efficient staff. Mr. Manolis knows how to pamper the guests and also to be discreet and friendly. We definitely recommend it and of course we will be back.

This small hotel is a short to moderate (flat) walk from the main town.|The room we had was well furnished and comfortable, no balcony but there is apool area to sit beside. Reasonably priced mini bar and mozzie repellant device.|Staff very obliging and wonderful breakfast by the pool (not a buffet), you won't go hungry!|Not a reflection on the hotel (the windows are well soundproofed) but the motorbikes are a pain in Spetses!|A walk (and meal!) in the old port worth doing, also the extended pony and trap ride. Bouboulina's museum interesting too.

Worth every penny, the man taking care of the mansion cooked breakfast for us in the morning and it was the best breakfast I ever had in Greece! Coolest mansion I’ve ever stayed in, if you want peace and quiet this is a good place to stay

Fantastic old mansion tastefully converted into a small hotel. Great staff and wonderful breakfast served poolside. Nice pool with loungers and pool towels provided. Peaceful location but only a few minutes walk to town centre

Just a fabulous old mansion near the sea , rooms have large high wooden ceilings which remind you off an old ship. We had 2 windows with views of the sea just over the road. We found the rooms very quiet at all times. Air con excellent considering 35 degrees outside|Pool area lovely and we had it to ourselves most days , it will as like our own private pool.|Pool and beach towels provided .|Breakfast !!! Just wow, all homemade and slightly different each day plus you can always ask for something . Large portions and we saved our cakes for afternoon tea 😁|Staff(just the 2 of them) are amazing!!!!

This hotel is a very nice, and much more than a « 3 stars » hotel.||We stood there with my friend for one week, and honestly for Spetses it s a such good quality/price deal. The location is excellent, it s also calm, and really authentic welcoming. The breakfast is homemade every morning by the charming cooker and the establishment (room/pool/common part) is clean, lovely and typical.||||I recommend !!
