This is a pretty nice hostel with everything you need. The wifi is ok, and the beds are comfortable. The showers are not great, as they are either too hot or too cold. No middle ground. The restaurant upstairs is not too expensive and the workers are really nice. The music is a bit loud. Overall a decent value.

Great rooftop bar for breakfast and entertainment. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms, exceptional beds for a hostel. Bit loud as the train passes right next to it. Bathroom for 4, but really loud ventilation in it.

It was a super place. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The bar/restaurant is a super place to hang out. We traveled to  Machu Picchu and left the pack at the hostel. When we came back I asked if I could take a shower before the train ride and they had no problem with that. Super place.

Ecopackers Hostel is a good place for you if: you are looking for cheap accommodation for a night, or you are looking for the best value-price rating in town, or if you like hostels. It's a fine place. The rooms are in a relatively good shape, thought most of them doesn't have an outside window, only one small window facing the stairwell. Our bathroom was okay, thought some mold, missing tiles and a general uncleanliness was noticeable. The beds are comfortable, and that's the most important part since we only came here for a night; I could easily sleep with earplugs, but the general noise-level can easily bother those who come here to rest. The rooftop bar has nice views, and their restaurant is cheap (considering other places in town) and delicious.

Pretty good for a couple nights. Not much atmosphere, but Aguas Calientes is like that, since everyone is waking up early to go to Machu Picchu. The restaurant/bar is good and reasonably priced, which is rare to find in the city. Good number of plugs in the room. Top bunk felt very close to the ceiling - I could touch it lying down.

Very good location! Close to the train and to the bus station for getting to Machu Picchu. You can rent a blow dryer from the front desk. The bar staff was great, Christian the bar tender treated us so well and was such a pleasure to talk to. We were here in November so it was a low season so it was not very "happening" but was still a great spot. The covered rooftop was great and had the best wifi signal :)

Good expensive hostel for your Machu Picchu adventure. Yes, is not cheap, but rooms are warm, there is always hot water, en suite bathrooms, extensive breakfast with real fruit juice, nice terrace with a view, good people at reception and bar and surprisingly fast Wi-Fi (better in the bar). I am happy that I spent the extra bucks. Suggestion : put people that wake up at 4 am together.

Basic but clean hostel. It was our first time trying out a hostel and we were pleased that we did. There's a hang out area on the roof with a bar and grill. Awesome view of the town from up high. There's a pool table. Each bunk had a locker. The hosts were super friendly. Only draw back was the loud trains that ran right my your windows. If you closed both sliding glass panes, it helps. You could also get room in back. A short walk to restaurants, shops, and bus to Machu Picchu.
