Very nice and warm hot springs 🩵 we bought the day pass and had a relaxing and peaceful time 🌿 We highly recommend to purchase the lunch/dinner from the bufet (all you can eat). The food was amazing! The best was the chimichuri steak and a variety of vegetables and fruits 🙏🏻

Gorgeous spot, feels very natural and peaceful (some hot springs feel like any regular pool). It was quiet and calm and not overly busy (I appreciate that they have a maximum number of bookings per time slot). We stayed for 5 hours and could have stayed even longer!

Five stars for me. Easy checking. Buffet lunch worth the increased ticket price. It was perfect day as it wasn’t too hot/cold and you could enjoy all pools throughout the time. Lunch was amazing — variety of food for all preferences and freshest produce for salad and snacks. I was upset I wasn’t hungry enough to enjoy more. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities clean and well kept. Will be back and recommend for others that just want a little break from the hustle.

What a lovely experience. As soon as you drive in you, feel like you are in a tropics away from the busy streets. The buffet was awesome and delicious and a perfect way to start our evening The baths were so soothing and relaxing. The waterfalls were phenomenal. We felt amazing afterwards Great experience!

Beautiful hot springs friendly staff. It is smaller than some of the nearby competitors lacking the water slides and such. However, if you are looking to just chill out in spa like bliss rather than go to a waterpark this is you place.

Had a wonderful time at the hot springs! We couldn’t book online but when we arrived, the let us inside with no issues. There weren’t many people, we had plenty of room to move between five pools even on a Saturday. Change rooms and lockers were clean all the time. We had access to clean towels the entire time. Staff was very kind and professional. Buffet was Amazing! Definitely recommend it! Lots of food options for entree, main, and desserts.

This hot springs resort in La Fortuna was a great experience overall. If you like relaxed vibes and tranquility, this is the spot. The water is heated by geothermal activity from the Arenal Volcano, where rainwater seeps into the ground and emerges as hot, mineral-rich spring water. The resort itself is clean, well-organized, and limits guest numbers to keep things chill. Towels, lockers, and lounge chairs are included in the entrance fee (food and drinks cost extra). There are 5-6 pools, ranging from super hot (40°C) to a cool, sandy pool. Slots fill up quick, so book ahead! Entrance fee is around $50 USD per person, and parking is free. If you're on a budget, El Choyin River is supposedly free, but be prepared for parking hustlers and crowds (we skipped it).

My husband and I had a wonderful romantic experience here - definitely a highlight of our trip! Easy checkin for our evening time slot (we had dinner reservations as well at the restaurant and found a time at checkin), clean facilities, and the pools were amazing. Felt very natural, and had a great range of temperatures. The buffet dinner was great and highly recommend adding a meal to your ticket. Drink prices were very expensive but did the job - spent about $150USD for the evening for two from pool drinks and a bottle of wine for dinner. Thank you for a great time, Ecotermales!
