Google
The food was excellent and the menu offers a wide selection of foods and beverages. Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. Perhaps are server was just having a bad night. Booth and table seating is available and this is a good place for groups. If the parking lot is full go around the block and try parking in the Moab Information Center's parking lot and walking over.

Google
Good food. Table could have been cleaner, very sticky. Service was okay, but was never asked for refills on our drinks. Shopping strip outside was very nice. I would try it again when I’m back in Moab.

Brian Embry

Google
The service was fantastic. I got the chicken parm. Chicken was flavorful, juicy, and tender. Just too much sauce. You don't have to drown the chicken. I had a Malbec that complimented the meal nicely.

Walter Schroder

Google
The sandwich I had was pretty good. The 'Wake & Bake.' But the fries were really mealy. Good beer on tap. But with no a/c on it was really warm. Not a huge fan of sweating while I eat. Also, they don't serve Heinz keychup so that's a big negative for me. But they do have Tabasco which is good.

Google
This is a Moab classic! The fish and chips is fluffy, not heavy our greasy, so if you've been out playing on the red rocks all day, it's abb sessions way to end your day. Lots of great beers and refreshing cocktails to beat the heat. Service is excellent and quick. Don't miss this Moab original!

Google
Great food and friendly service. Loved my Cowboy burger with bison meat patty (pictured). Very good menu with lots of options, and a great selection of drinks as well. The place to go in Moab!

Darren Dickson

Google
Great tasting food. Not too expensive. The menu could have more options.

Kees Verstijnen

Google
Great time here after an exhausting day at Arches NP. Good choice of (draft) craftbeers and service is also fine! Tried the jalapeno cream ale on recommendation of the Mexican waitor. On fire lol. My cowboy burger was also really good.

Yelp
Great service, and save yourself the time of looking at the menu ... get the Cubano sandwich with a side of onion rings and a pint of draft!

Dani S.

Yelp
Great food, great service! Local spot. Came here for dinner one night and had a very nice experience. We were trying to avoid all the tourist traps in town and saw this one is more of a local spot. We got lucky and came on a Thursday and it was $9 burgers Thursdays, so we got burgers with soup and onion rings. The food was good portion size and tasted fresh. Our server was very nice friendly and helpful. The vibe is really cool in there. Lots of locals hanging out. Parking was easy. Bathrooms clean. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
We recently visited Dewey's restaurant for a quick bite to eat just before the dinner rush arrived. We were greeted with a friendly smile and quickly seated by the hostess as soon as we entered. Service was pretty prompt as we ordered drinks and food fairly quickly. We just needed a small bite so we ordered a few items to share: Cajun dusted fries, pistachio chicken and blackened blue burger. The portions were generously sized so we're glad we planned to share. Unfortunately, some of our photos didn't come out so we only have a burger photo to share. Our food was tasty and hot which we also appreciated. The dining room wasn't fancy but it was warm and welcoming which was exactly what we needed that night. Their beautiful Christmas decorations were prominently displayed in the front window for all the enjoy. We enjoyed our time here and hope others will enjoy their visit too!

Yelp
Deeeeeeelicious, great place to eat in the heart of downtown Moab. Parking is a bit tight, but well worth it. They were to accommodate a group of 12 within a few moments, and even better, once we got our orders they were all correct! Amazing service, tasty food and a good selection of local breweries drinks. Definitely recommend coming here.

Alyssa H.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place in Moab. The food, drinks and service were fantastic. Our server was so kind and attentive. The food was great!! I don't think there's anything you can get here that won't be good. It's just a fun chill place to have a drink and good food.

Danielle F.

Yelp
Food was great, clean restaurant, bar was fun environment & they have TVs everywhere that make it easy to watch the games. Waitress was friendly too & overall would stop here again for their food. However wasn't a fan of our drinks so 4/5.

Beth M.

Yelp
Dewey's caught our eye on the way into town, did a quick Yelp search, and tried it for dinner after a long day in Arches. Parking is tight and the restaurant was busy, but we found a space and got a table right away. Vibes are cozy and casual, looks like a lot of people coming in straight from outdoor activities. Our server was friendly and on top of his tables, we didn't have to wait for anything. I had the chicken chimichurri with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and vegetables. Totally 5 stars, would not change a single thing about that meal. Kids were happy with their selections and my husband loved his trout. I'd eat here every week if it wasn't 7 hours from my house.

Destiney S.

Yelp
We came into town late and were a bit hangry. Places were already closing down but Dewey's was opened. While our server was friendly, we were like, 'GET US FOOD!!' He offered his recommendations and told us what was popular. I decided the pecan crusted trout was what I wanted. You're probably thinking what I'm thinking, trout in Utah?!? Yeah, I know. But it was super good!! I would definitely get it again (but the sauce on the side, I like to control my sauce distribution). I didn't care for the mashed potatoes (minus gravy) and would get the rice next time. My two friends enjoyed their dishes. I believe they got the pastrami melt and the French dip.

Paige T.

Yelp
Mediocre food with mediocre/ambivalent service. We ate here because it was a Sunday night during the off-season and our first 4 choices were closed. It's a lot of pasta and sandwich-type food. They probably stay in business because so many patrons are visitors to Moab and don't know better. I ate nothing memorable, but it wasn't absolutely gross either. It was also pretty disappointing because the previous night, we'd eaten an outstanding meal at Thai Bella. The experience at Dewey's was a substantial step down and I wouldn't recommend. I only gave 3 stars because my husband enjoyed his beer cheese soup.

Olivia W.

Yelp
The food here is nothing special and very bland. The atmosphere was sterile, very much so a touristy modern stop. Sad to see it replaced a staple restaurant in Moab. The service was okay, but Kaan our waiter was fantastic, he was super sweet and took the time to make sure we ordered what we wanted. He explained to me the dishes which I was debating between, ensuring I picked the right one.

Kristin B.

Yelp
We stopped here after a hike. It's a really cool building and everyone was super nice. The food came out really fast...almost too fast because we didn't have time to finish our appetizers. The onion rings were to die for, so good!! FYI...pretty warm inside, felt like there wasn't any AC

J P.

Yelp
Dewey's was a nice little surprise. Who knew that on a 101 degree day in Moab a big slice of meatloaf and mashed potatoes would hit the spot. I will echo many of the reviews and say it was absolutely delish. It really hit the spot after a long day of hiking. My wife ordered some sort of pasta vegetable thingy cause she didn't want to ruin a day of high intensity outdoor fun with a slab of meat and gravy. This is why women live longer. I paired my loaf with a Moab Pilsner and then went back to my hotel to float like a fatty in the hot tub. I recommend this restaurant! Enjoy.

John S.

Yelp
Recommended by our hotel - nice place with a modern decor. We went in for a drink before dinner and ended up staying for a Pastrami burger. Pilsner draft was good, burger was flavorful, but not fantastic. Server was a bit "cool" and ended up dumping half the onion rings in the floor as he was serving. Had to remind him about the follow up serving - at least he did not charge us to that!! Reasonably prices, good portions, but nothing to get really excited about.

Joe R.

Yelp
Just got back from Arches NP and we were hot and hungry. Dewey's did not disappoint! Great variety of cool drinks including craft root beer. I ordered the chicken Philly with a fry and onion rings which were very good. If you're feeling fish, get the grilled trout and special sauce. Really good with the seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes and brown gravy. There is inside dining as well as covered outside dining too. Kerrie took good care of our table and made sure all was good. I'll be back!

H M.

Yelp
After a morning of hiking this was a great place for a late lunch. Ali was our server and kept our drinks and water refilled. We needed the hydration. My husband's salmon salad had salmon filet ~ even though the menu listed smoked salmon. The spinach-kale with cranberry and walnuts was filling and tasty. Plus for the ginger beer.

Richard B.

Yelp
Our server Maddie was excellent! Green chili amazing. Overall great experience after off-roading all day.

Heather S.

Yelp
Not terribly impressed. My chicken sandwich was fine. Boyfriend's French dip was inedible, he took maybe two bites. Fries were meh. Beer on tap (Moab brewing hazy IPA) was underwhelming. Service was fine. Dance/club music was an odd vibe for a Sunday afternoon. Food was inexpensive but I wouldn't go back.

Lou P.

Yelp
The former Eddie McStiffs was a highlight for tourists. The food was mediocre and the beer not much better. I expect when touron season picks up, Dewey's will pick up where McStiffs left off, and be popular with the sunburned hoards. We visited late for lunch, it was far from crowded. Our server took our order right away, which was nice. It took awhile for the food to arrive. Fries were soggy , as was my sandwich. Apparently the heat lamp couldn't penetrate the depth of the pastrami, as the middle of the sandwich was room temperature. Moab has never been a culinary oasis, and Dewey's seems destined to live up to that reputation. High point: they have a nice logo.

Allison S.

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We LOVED Dewey's! The bar area is separated from the restaurant area and our bartender Phil was awesome! One of the things we noticed the most was how affordable the menu options are - from the drinks to the food. The steak was more affordable than getting it from the grocery store and the nachos were worth every penny. The ingredients were fresh and the food came out quick. We enjoyed chatting with our bartender after our meal. They were so courteous to us as tourists, and we would recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Moab that is looking for this fare of food.

Alfie S.

Yelp
Staying at the Best Western across the street we walked over with no expectations. We were promptly sat and served waters etc, we ordered a sandwich and a salad and 2 kids meals. The waitress was a bit of a dud, no smiles, kinda just feeling she didn't want to be bothered, but the food was delicious and came out super fast! Reasonable prices and great portions, I would definitely go back even though the service was not that good.

Laura T.

Yelp
Great spot! We stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner between parks. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The food was excellent! We had meatloaf and grilled chicken dinners. Amazing. Our server was attentive and kind. Definitely would come back next time we're in Moab.

Lucia V.

Yelp
Recommended by a local after a long drive we stopped here. The food was phenomenal! I had the sirloin and my boyfriend had the meatloaf, they were both exceptionally delicious. Everything, from the sauce on the steak to the gravy on the mashed potatoes was great. The veggies were done to perfection and everything came out quite fast. Service was good, not great but the server took our order within a reasonable amount of time, delivered our waters quickly and checked on us once our food hit our table. Aside from not being the most charismatic person everything was top notch! We did not have drink but the cocktail and beer menus were extensive. The restaurant was quite busy, the atmosphere was nice, not overwhelming. The decor in the restaurant is quite interesting and the history behind the name even more so! If you're in town stop by!

Samantha W.

Yelp
Went into Dewey's in search of nachos and BOY did they deliver! The portion was huge and so satisfying. I added the pulled pork and that really leveled things up! The waitress was very friendly and service was fast! My guy got the chicken parm which was also delicious but the nachos were definitely the star! It's a cool spot, not too crowded, cool history and interesting building! A fun place to grub up after Moab adventures!

Darryl Z.

Yelp
Stopped by this downtown restaurant for a quick bite before heading out for more adventures. The restaurant has a unique tie to a local attraction that is also worth a visit. The waitress was very attentive to our orders and the food was delicious and plentiful. Overall a great experience.

Mark H.

Yelp
First time at Dewey's. Lots of food options, fast service. I had the meatloaf, wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, both were very good. Good for groups, lots of tables. Good pick when in Moab.

Matt C.

Yelp
Dewey's in Moab caught me off guard. We were originally headed to another restaurant and once we saw they were closed, we jetted to Dewey's. It may have been the $3.75 Winter Pints that grabbed my attention initially. IN THIS ECONOMY?! But in all seriousness, I had been wanting to check out this place. And we ended up having a great overall experience. First off, the restaurant is massive with high ceilings and a dedicated bar next door separate from the dining room. The menu is fairly big with burgers, sandwiches, entrées, salads, apps, pasta, etc. Not normally a fan of the Cheesecake Factory style menus, but it seems to work here. Service was fantastic. Of course I can't remember her name, but our server is married to the chef! They've been working here for a long time and she was such a sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand. HOUSEMADE MEATLOAF ($17.49) // Slow roasted meatloaf finished on the grill and topped with mushrooms, brown gravy and bleu cheese crumbles. I thought the toppings were going to overpower the delicate meatloaf, but nope I was wrong. It's an interesting pairing that I never would've thought of and works very well together. The meat itself was tender. The rest of the ingredients brought a little zip to a standard meatloaf. Very good! You get A LOT of food here. This came with a dinner roll, baked potato and mixed vegetables. I have to admit, the sides were fairly lackluster. Then again, these are pretty basic items so it's to be expected. Definitely adding this to my list of reliable restaurants in Moab!

Karen C.

Yelp
The nachos with pulled pork were excellent to split. The place has a chill vibe and the drink prices are good.

K H.

Yelp
Ordinary. Local beers were just okay. Teriyaki chicken bowl was aggressively mundane. The trout was pretty good but the side was mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Weird. Front dining room with obnoxious canned lighting felt like I was on stage. I'm willing to bet there are much better places to eat in Moab but I was only there one night. Wouldn't return to Dewey's if I went back to Moab.

Sally H.

Yelp
Food & service were great. We got the Ruben, a specialty burger, & the stew. Hostess really overestimate the wait time for a table.

Glenn G.

Yelp
We stopped in the bar area for a drink after our tour of Arches National Park. It was getting late and we recalled from the night before that a lot of restaurants seem to close early on weeknights. We sat at the bar, ordered beers, chatted with the couple next to us, and left when they were closing up. They had a decent selection of beers, and we always like trying local beers. A nice way to unwind after a long day.

Mindi A.

Yelp
Late March visit on a Tuesday night around 8 PM. They were still very busy and understaffed so service was not great. Food came out as ordered though and hit the spot after a long day outside. Mashed potatoes were from flakes.

Deanna P.

Yelp
We went here for an early dinner after a full day of 4 wheeling. It was recommended by the young lady working at the t-shirt shop across the street. Nice large menu with lots of selection from appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and Italian dishes. Kids ordered house made macaroni and cheese off the kids menu, They commented on how creamy it was. They loved it. Husband ordered parmesan chicken, which he said was delicious. I ordered the Spinach, kale, apple salad with chicken. It was very good, but would have been better if they massaged the kale, rather than just cutting it up. Massaging the kale (breaking up and squeezing after cutting) makes kale softer and less bitter. The restaurant was pretty quiet during a Thursday afternoon. I highly recommend them if you are visiting Moab.

Stephanie K.

Yelp
We came in based on a recommendation. We were seated quickly but told the server would take a bit to come over. The hostess did bring us water right away. When the server came over she did apologize and told us they had a new computer system they were all trying to get used to. She was very nice and we appreciated the explanation. She then took our drink and meal orders. I had a Blue Margarita. It was really good. Two of us ordered the meatloaf. It was good. The blue cheese crumbles were sparse but added a nice flavor. The serving size was large and I love the vegetables that came with it. There was also a warm roll that was served with butter that was very tasty. Two others in our group had the chicken Parmesan. It was served over pasta in an Alfredo sauce. One said it was excellent and the other said he would have preferred the chicken to be a bit crispier. My daughter had the grilled chicken with chimichurri sauce. The menu said it was spicy and my daughter felt that it definitely was but she also doesn't do super spicy food so others may not find it super spicy. We all enjoyed meals. And our server did a great job checking on us. The place like get pretty loud based on how it is set up with really high ceilings in one area. We were at a table in the middle of the room and it was comfortable. I would definitely come back.

Rob R.

Yelp
Super fast service. Ali was attentive and very nice. Food was excellent and surprisingly cheap! Highly recommend. I had the pastrami burger and the Mrs had the Cubano. So much food!

Damion S.

Yelp
I've been coming to deweys since they first opened and Ive always been impressed with the proffesionalism and atmosphere. I fly in from wisconsin twice a year just to eat here. My server Gavin was great and got everything out in a timely manner. Be sure to ask for Michael when you stop by.

Dee S.

Yelp
While every other restaurant had a long line, Dewey's was able to seat us right away. The restaurant seemed very clean. Kaan was our server and was very polite and offered recommendations. Appetizers and food came out very quick also. I even requested the veggie pasta dish without noodles (crazy I know but I can no longer have pasta) Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. It was the best place we ate in Moab.

Bonnie H.

Yelp
We walked into Dewey's with a group of 8 and were able to sit right away. Our server was really good, he was attentive and friendly and stayed on top of making sure we always had a drink. Two people ordered the poblano burger and loved them. The shrimp tacos were decent but not the best dish. They accidentally made a shrimp fajita salad instead of shrimp fajitas for someone else, but brought tortillas to go with it. They have a winter pint special going right now so the beers were cheap.

Nanette P.

Yelp
Loved the look of this place! Karrie was our server and she did a great job. I was sad they had Diet Pepsi but the lemonade was good. We ordered the pistachio crusted chicken with raspberry sauce. It was good, it needed seasoning. The show stopper was the veggies and mashed potatoes! We would recommend!

Andrew B.

Yelp
Ate here last weekend with my family. Food was mostly your standard Sysco fare. The biggest disappointment was the "chicken marsala," which in reality was nothing more than chicken-fried chicken with regular chicken gravy. My wife was super disappointed and didn't eat much of her meal. I had a steak, which was not great but was edible. My kids loved their chicken strips and grilled cheese, which are hard to screw up. Would recommend only in a pinch. The prices were extremely reasonable for a tourist town.

Sheryl H.

Yelp
Vacationing alone so lots of time to eat.... Alone. Which can be intimidating. No issues at this place. Or anywhere in Moab! The bar tender was very polite and attentive. Ate dinner at the bar on my first night in Moab. Got the poblano burger. OMG so freaking good! I'm not a picture-taker of food but I knew my son would be jealous so I took it to show him. I also ordered a local Amber beer which was very good as well. This meal was the best meal I had all vacation here in Utah.

Amy H.

Yelp
IMO an underrated restaurant in Moab . We were looking for a bar seen with good food. This was it!! There is also plenty of other seating too. Great service with Haylee. My husband got the meatloaf with delicious mashed potatoes (I just had to get my fork in there) and I got wings- they came out as ordered! It's the little things Great food!! We will be back.

Janene T.

Yelp
I would not recommend this business. Even tho the food came quickly it was not very good. I had the chicken parm and the chicken tasted as if it was pre-made frozen chicken. They also serve Pepsi products which I do not like and not a very good bar.

Victoria T.

Yelp
We loved Dewey's! We ate here twice during our week in Moab. We got the nachos appetizer, poblano burger, and shrimp alfredo pasta. The pasta was REALLY GOOD. It was big portions too. The cheese wasn't too overwhelming (the pasta wasn't drowning in cheese), and the shrimp was cooked well. I was really full after, it came with 2 pieces of garlic bread too. The nacho appetizer was yummy too. It wasn't too expensive overall, compared to food in the city. Service was great, our server was super nice. She had to deal with a lot when it came to the table of a big group of older folks next to us. The restaurant itself was nice too, really big and lots of tables. It was pretty busy both times we went for dinnner.

Tony T.

Yelp
We sat in the bar area in order to watch sports on the TVs. Wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Food was delicious.

Jenny S.

Yelp
Casual restaurant bar to refuel your calories after hiking! We are so glad we choose this for our only dinner in town Sat at the bar, great service, the bartenders are busy but they are working hard! ---wings: the hubby is always craving wings and these did not disappoint ---chicken noodle soup: really hit the spot since we were in town during winter ---meatloaf: hubby said it's one of the BEST he's had ---salad: maybe could have done without this one as I was already full! But generous portions! Would definitely come back if we were in town again!

Dimple S.

Yelp
Tabby our server was adorable. She was friendly, continued to check up on us after we had paid our bill while we lingered feeding our toddler. She made sure to make a virgin ginger drink as I was feeling nauseous. We ordered the buffalo wings- 10/10 flavorful crispy and meaty not fatty. Steak baked potato salad - My husbands go to which he loved Shrimp Alfredo - The texture of this dish was perfect the pasta was cooked shrimp soft some pieces of the asparagus were stringy. I added a grilled chicken to my dish and it superb! I would have liked more seasoning.

Jeremy N.

Yelp
First time in Moab, Utah. Food portions were huge! Friendly service, food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

Cynthia E.

Yelp
Our experience was awesome. Our waitress was friendly and willing to help my boyfriend with his allergies. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Curt W.

Yelp
Good service, good food and drink, sat in the bar sports bar vibe, wife left her CCard they went over and above to return, good people and service are great to see these days
