The food was delicious, and the buffet had a good selection of items to choose from. The service was great and very friendly. My server checked on my every couple of minutes and kept my drink filled. I ate too much, so I didn't have room for dessert, but they looked really good. I will definitely be going back soon . It was well worth the drive to Newton Grove.

Ate there for the first time this week. Not a "fancy" looking place from the outside but the inside is very clean and neat. The country cooking food was just like you would make it at home . The chicken pastry was delicious as was the slaw and the sweet potato casserole was outstanding. Hushpuppies were delicious. I was impressed with the way the food was served. The chicken pastry was in a bowl the additional food choices were in individual little dishes that kept everything from running together. A great place to eat and I will be back even though I live a good 45 minutes from there

It's called Celia's now. The food is absolutely amazing! Best fried okra and slaw I've ever had. The deviled crab and catfish were both excellent. It was a little over mile off 40, but it was definitely worth the drive.

Ordered flounder dinner with a side of baked spaghetti. The baked spaghetti was good but ordinary spaghetti. I was expecting it to be more like a casserole dish with baked cheese topping. Still everything tasted good.

Beware... We ordered seafood combo plates and they were great and the staff was friendly.... then approximately a week later we ordered seafood plates again with extra hushpuppies, and EVERYTHING was soaked (dripping wet in grease) it was horrible and we could not even finish our meal it was so bad. The bag with the hushpuppies was dripping wet with grease as well, the Styrofoam plates had holes burnt where the food was taken out of the hot grease and put straight unto the plate with no paper or anything first to soak the grease. I think maybe my calling in an order at approx. 6:30pm. seems to have pissed off the employees or something? But we always try to tip to balance it ... This was not normal. I know accidents happen, but this was on purpose or rushed or both. The food was so greasy it killed any future appetite I will ever have for this new establishment, which use to be Eddie's restaurant. Smh

Another fantastic home cooked Buffett for a low price. Friendly, spot on service. Clean dining area to include the bathroom. Biggest hamburger steaks I’ve ever had. Cheers.

Nice down home spot welcoming service. We stopped in wanting a home town diner experience and that's what we got! Staff were super helpful and friendly they walked us through the menu and answered any questions we had. We were clearly from out of town but that didn't change a thing. Food was very tasty and prepared in a short amount of time. Even after receiving our food we were checked on to make sure everything was to our liking. Thank you ladies at Eddie's Cafe we will definitely be back.
