Eddie's Kitchen & Tavern

We are visiting from out of town for an appointment and needed a good gluten friendly restaurant. Eddies most definitely did not disappoint. We started with the mozzarella sticks which were the best gluten-free mozzarella sticks I have had! I ordered gf chicken strips and my husband ordered the gf Eddies famous burger they were both phenomenal. Plus the service was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming as well. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

I want to say i loved my experience bit it was just ok. The Atmosphere is just again ok. It is clean, and not cluttered but no personality. It says it is a kitchen tavern. The kitchen part is right but besides serving alcohol not the feel of a tavern. The food while ok again it is not amazing or making yern for more. I didn't hate coming here but we will not be returning.

Great place! My sister and I grabbed dinner here because of the high reviews. They were not wrong! They were very busy, which is a good sign. We set at the bar with a view of the kitchen. Impressive efficiency by the whole crew. The owner and name sake Eddie was running lead on orders and kept everything running smooth. He also has a good sense of humor, which is always welcome. Food was amazing, can't wait to go back and try other menu items. I had the fish and chips, hand battered and delicious. My sister had their signature burger and it was great too! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Great food for a fair price! My wife was especially impressed with their gluten free options: a separate menu, separate friers, and she loooved her chicken tenders. Crispy and delicious without gluten or dairy. I got the Philly sandwich and it was quite good, although it didn't quite fill me up, even with a side of soup.

Honestly when it comes to Gluten free food you rarely find something that blows your expectations out of the water. This place though.. has completely changed my perspective. Affordable, DELICIOUS, such sweet staff, everything came out fresh, on time, and oh lordy the mozzarella sticks! They were divine! And the sauces came out warm and flavorful. I ordered the lasagna, my fiance ordered the flatbread. We both shared these huge mozzarella sticks, and I had a N/A pomegranate mule. I can't rave enough about this place, the food, and everything in between. They have some very talented kitchen staff, We will happily be back!

We had a great experience at Eddie’s Kitchen and Tavern! The service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive. We ordered the fish and chips and the bacon jam burger, and both were absolutely delicious. The burger was packed with flavor, easily one of the best burgers we’ve had. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and satisfying. We would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Its gives, modern vibes, with old school feel. The food was on point. Worth the wait and money. The Mozzarella sticks are huge & are a must eat. If you can squeeze room for desert, dont walk on the Banana Cheesecake. I wish I could take a whole one to go. 10/10 🌟

We went to Eddie’s for Restaurant Week and had such a great experience. They were incredibly busy, but the staff handled it so well. Even though we had a reservation, they were running a few minutes behind and were very transparent about it, which we really appreciated. What stood out the most was how accommodating they were. They immediately started walking us through the gluten free menu and made us feel completely comfortable about ordering. I am so excited to finally have a restaurant in Spokane that offers such an extensive gluten free menu. I know there are other options around town, but it’s wonderful to see more places making this a priority. The food was fantastic, the service was thoughtful, and even during a packed Restaurant Week evening, we felt taken care of. We will absolutely be back.

Great food options. Friendly attentive servers. We had dinner, wine and drinks. Cuban sandwich and steak salad. Fried dill pickle spears are great!

Gluten free goodness. Got this recommendation from a friend while in town for the weekend. Food was really great. Ambience interesting. We met Eddie and he was very nice. Busy restaurant, menu highlights: gf mozzarella sticks, gf chicken tenders, gf pulled pork flatbread, gf key lime pie.

Food was pretty good, not great or it'd be a 5 star. Everything was just like lacking a little seasoning, otherwise was very good. Staff were friendly, service was fast and good. One issue, they have plaques at all tables talking about what they're about which is cool. One topic is "No Surprise Fees" which specifically states no fees for split-checks, SAUCES or little things to make you feel better. Yet when my bill came I had a .50 charge for "open table" which I was told for the 1 ranch I asked for to go with the app. Now .50 isn't a big deal, a lot of places charge nowadays and it is what it is. Just don't brag about not doing that n plaques at every table while actually doing it, that's dishonest. It's stupid things like that which make me not want to come back when I otherwise would be a returning customer. I hope they sort that because it's close and was pretty decent honestly.

We can't come here enough! The food, drinks and STAFF are top notch! And they have a fabulous GF menu as well.

Yesterday I recommended Eddie's Kitchen & Tavern for lunch with my mom and sister. My husband and I really liked the food when we went before and I knew the menu had enough variety they would like it as well. Mom ordered the fish and chips and couldn't stop raving about the house made chip/fries and gave them a 10 out of 10. She gave the cod a 8 she said it was fresh and good portions but a bit greasy. My sister had the Tuscan Pasta with steak. She gave the overall dish an 8 out of 10. She ordered the steak medium rare but it came out medium, honestly I would have sent it back but she said it was really good. I have been wanting to try their jalapeno peppers. But I didn't really want a whole lot else. So I ordered the jalapeno poppers and a side salad with blue cheese. I give the side salad a 10 out of 10. It was wonderful and I was pleasantly pleased they let me have a side salad with the jalapeno poppers. It was a good meal. I have to say that I was a frequent customer of Lost Boys, their previous restaurant and loved their "lug nuts" which is what I was hoping for when I ordered the jalapeno poppers. They were tasty but I would give them a five out of a 10 largely cuz I'm comparing it to something that I really loved. I shared them both with my sister and my mom and my sister loved them and would order them over and over again. My mom. She's not usually a jalapeno person so she said it was okay but not her favorite. Overall I really love this place and we will continue to come here. And I highly recommend it to anyone who wants tasty food on the north side in a pleasant atmosphere with decent prices.

Atmosphere: this place was open, lots of space, old timey pictures on the wall of people like Elvis (love) and Marilyn Monroe. The booths were comfy and large. None of them felt like they were too close together and provided some privacy. It was a little dark in there, but not bad. Service: our server was fantastic! She was really on top of things! She checked on us the perfect amount, was kind, quick, and accommodating! Very happy with our service. Food: I got the 8oz sirloin and my friend got the Blackened Salmon. My steak had really great flavor, and was cooked medium rare just like I had asked! My only complaint was it was a tad tough and stringy. Still delicious though! My friend also really enjoyed her food. They have a great menu and lots of cocktail and beer options! I will definitely go back!

For Mother's Day, my Dad took me to lunch at Eddie's Kitchen & Tavern. The restaurant is clean, not a little noisy. I feel that their prices are great and I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have had in Spokane. My Dad's burger was HUGE! He really liked the fries that came with it. Definitely going back!

Fab food, casual atmosphere, good pour on the cocktails. Hubs had the Cuban and I had the Hot Honey Chicken - both were dynamite. We started out at the Onion and when they took 20 mins to get our drink order with an empty bar, we left and came here. Glad we did.

We've seen some recent social media comments about this new establishment and wanted to give it a go. First off, it is in the old Mac Daddy's location across from the Northpointe shopping area. There are about 20 parking spots outside that are easy to get in/out of. They don't have a permanent sign on the outside of the building quite yet. Inside there are a smattering four-up tables and some booths that very well might have lived a previous life in a Mexican restaurant. All of it was clean and tidy. The food: Moz sticks- super good and clearly made in house. The marinara is also made in house. A meal on their own. Meatball sandwich- My other half says this was super good with homemade meatballs. Love and care were put into the creation of this one. Signature Burger- Wow, this is one of the better burgers I've ever had. The bacon; oh my. The cheeses, sauce, seasonings, and perfectly cooked meat. So, so good. This was place was pretty empty the entire time we were here and it really surprised me. The quality is high and I think on par with some of the best locally owned restaurants in town. Maybe even pushing for a top spot. Pricing is on par with other eateries of the type. For certain we'll be making our way here often.

Great prices, great wine selection. Service was just ok, one odd moment though. We ordered the cheese popper appetizer, they were awesome (not a fan of the sweet dipping sauce with the cheese but it was a good sauce on its own, we still ate it.) There was a stray Brussels sprout leaf in our cheese popper dish, and the staff member (I thought she was a host but she delivered our food so not sure of her role) checking on us noticed the leaf and picked up our appetizer dish (we were actually still eating it as it was still half full) and SHE DUG HER HANDS INTO THE FOOD! Then asked if we wanted a new order, we declined as our entrees just arrived, and she walked off with our half consumed appetizer. I probably would have still eaten the cheese if she hadn't done that, they were really good and who cared if a rogue Brussel leaf joined the party. It was just so bizarre. All that to say, good little restaurant, we want to come back and try the handhelds. We had a steak and a steak salad.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner today, our first visit. This restaurant has only been open for a few weeks, everything inside is bright and clean. We were greeted by friendly staff; our beverages came right out. Mary had the daily special, a plate of spaghetti with meatballs, with fresh house-made marinara, fresh garlic bread, and an Italian salad. All the veggies on the salad were fresh and crisp, yummy. The meatballs appeared handmade and were good, the bread was standard. The house made marinara was more like tomato paste and lacked other flavors! I had The Philly, seasoned steak, peppers, onions, chipotle aioli, and pepper jack cheese. The roll was fresh and toasted, all the ingredients were fresh, the pepper jack added a little kick; very tasty. There were fresh cut fries on the side that were delicious.

The service was outstanding! We were greeted at the door as soon as we came in, then menus and waters were brought to our table. Our food arrived from the kitchen quickly after we ordered. Our server came back to our table frequently to check on the food, refill our water and see if we needed anything else. The food was fresh and super hot. I ordered the fish and chips. The chips were amazing! The potatoes are sliced about 1/4-inch thick and fried like french fries, then liberally salted. Soooo good! The fish was supposedly beer battered, but it didn't taste like it -- it was very plain tasting. The tartar sauce was more like a ranch dressing. I will choose a different menu item next time. The decor is uninspiring. The booths have edges that will hurt you if you try to slide in and out (I will have some bruises), and who wants to look at old black & white photos of 1950's movie stars? One other issue was the bill... we didn't find out until it arrived that there are two prices depending on how you plan to pay. One price for cash, a higher price if you are paying with a credit card. I know merchants pay a fee for credit card transactions, but this was a bait and switch at the end of the meal, i.e. cash prices are shown on the menu, then the total is upcharged if you pay by credit card. They should have shown credit card prices on the menu, then offered a discount for paying with cash.

this was our second visit ,we had eaten here a while ago and it was very good ,went yesterday and wife and i split a cubun sandwich with the cup of sw chicken soup and ordered a side sald ....every thing was delish........our server was kind enough to have the kitchen split every thing .side salad 3.50$ great deal.......we will be hitting this place more often ..........

I was so glad to hear about this new place on the north side! There were 3 of us in our group last weekend when we tried it out. Everything was so delicious and affordable! Try the mozzarella sticks!

Wow! Great food, strong drinks, reasonable prices. What else do you want? Dinner style atmosphere with a healthy selection of games. Servers are friendly and the drinks are fast to the table. We shared steak bites and poblano Mac n cheese with a strawberry margarita. Great job Eddie's! ... I would have posted a picture but we were too excited to eat it.

Great food. But after an extended period of sitting in their Lousy booth seating it was painful.

Wow! I have to eat gluten free and usually going out to eat I'm stick with whatever 1-2 items might fit the bill... Eddies has an entire menu of DELICIOUS gluten free options and they are not marked way up from the "regular" menu either. I'm thrilled and we will be back again. It's been years since I've had a lasagna at a restaurant. So so good! And 1/2 price apps for happy hour! New favorite place!

Service was great. We split their burger and chips. It was right up there with one of the best burgers we have eaten. Very juicy and flavorful. Will return to try more things on the menu! The chicken pot pie looks very interesting!

Excellent food. Love having them on the north side of town. Food is all cooked fresh with amazing flavor. We will be regular customers for sure!

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff. The food was good and reasonably priced. They have a full bar and great beers on draft. The booth seating was a bit uncomfortable due to a lack of padding.

What an excellent addition to the north side of town! Excellent atmosphere. Great service. Fair pricing. They actually know how to cook a rare steak! The gluten free fish and chips and gluten free mozzarella sticks were wonderful. And what a nice surprise to find a bar that will do a whiskey sour and do it well.

Went to Eddie's for the first time tonight. Everything we ordered was great. I was super excited to see they had fried pickle spears. So many places have the pickle fries or pickle nickels, and the spears are vastly superior. The pulled pork flatbread was good. Their BBQ sauce is on the sweeter side - just an FYI (in case you prefer something else). You MUST try their fries. I've never had any like them before. So Good! I'll leave it at that since I don't even know what to call the style of them except yummy. We will be back for sure. There were so many other things we wanted to try on the menu.​

Eddie's is very comfy casual and all of the employees are friendly and fun to chat with. Our experience with all of the food we have tried, has been wonderful. Cuban sandwich, Tuscan Pasta, Fried Pickles, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Meatball Sandwich, Philly Sandwich and their Fish and Chips! You can't go wrong at Eddie's.

Went for lunch with husband and tweens. We had cocktails, mocktails, and Italian sodas. Of course we got the mozzarella sticks. Also tried cheese curds with caramel. Surprising combo. All food was five stars- Greek, burger, chicken tenders, and steak and mushroom salad. Service was the best!

Fast friendly service, great fried pickles, good music, lots s of room to move around for larger groups !

Our first visit was not long after they opened and it was so-so but we thought we would give it another try. We went there at about 4:30 we were the only ones there. Waitress/hostess eventually greeted us, we sat down and she said she would give us a minute. Fifteen minutes later, not even water served and we had to flag her down that we were ready to order. Ordered drinks and everything right away. Ten minutes after that she finally comes with waters, beer, wine all tucked against her chest spilling water. Really? Never heard of a serving tray? Food comes and it was still as unremarkable as the first time. Finally got our check and left. And oh by the way owners should know that charging back credit card fees on debit cards is illegal in all 50 states, but there's quite a few places in Spokane that do it and don't care! They all like to blame it on the merchant service not being able to distinguish between debit and credit-WRONG. That's how the first 4 digits on your card identifies it.

We have 2 celiac kiddos and Eddie's was amazing letting us know which kids menu items they could do gluten free. They even have a dedicated gluten free fryer. And when the food was delivered, it was marked with a large toothpick that said gluten free so we could be sure it was safe food. The quality of the food was excellent, the price was good, and the service was outstanding! It was a treat to visit a place that was so sensitive to the celiac life!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere had a 1950s vibe. Close by and good parking.

I am gluten free and decided to try Eddie's for the first time. I got the gf fried pickles and the gf chicken tenders. Everything was so delicious! The pickles and chicken tenders were so crunchy and didn't crumble or fall apart at all! They have a dedicated fryer and even have little skewers that come on the food indicating its gf. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable too. Will definitely be going back!!!

Food is good, especially the gluten free options. However the front of house staff is very underwhelming, the waitress I had couldn't have been less interested and not very attentive. But the food is solid.

Food was good, and wait staff was friendly, only complaint was the service was slow. Felt like it took over 45 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered.

Amazing place! Waitress was phenomenal brought my wild impatient toddlers meal out first! The fries and chicken out of this world! Will be back to share with the whole family

The Vegas Special and Spokane Margarita were spot on as was the food, Fish and Chips and Tuscan Pasta.... it's a hit! Service was on as well.

Fantastic! Everything about Eddie's is awesome. The food was excellent, the menu has something for everyone. I had the Cuban with the fries, mild spice on the sandwich which was very yummy, and their fries were the best I've had in quite a while. My wife had the tuscan pasta with shrimp and she really enjoyed it as well. The atmosphere, the service, the music, all of it, excellent. Oh and the desert, white chocolate raspberry cheese cake!

The food was real tasty and the service was great. The prices were pretty reasonable too.

Loved the GF options and was just shocked that it was actually gluten free !! Loved the chicken strips and fried pickles, truly can't wait to try more of this place !!

Been in twice food was great both times service was very good. The fries are very different a cross between fries and chip.
