Eddy's Ghetto

A great local spot in Saint Barths! If you need solid food no dancing and normal prices this is the spot! The lamb chops and the papaya salad were incredible.

Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly professional service. Eddie is usually around to say hello to all the customers. His son is there to back up the staff and ensure everything is effective. I am told the chef has been there for 20 plus years never had a bad experience and been there many times. Enjoy

We had a really nice meal here at the start of our trip. Lovely outdoor setting. Nice menu. Apps were good but wild shrimp entree was a star!

If you're looking for a great place with good vibes. This is the spot. We were referred by a popular restaurant that was undergoing repairs, and were told that this is where locals go. I really wished we visited earlier in our trip, but we were leaving the next day. It's the kind of place where the food is excellent and people know each other. The pricing is amazing! Extremely well priced and the portions generous. A fantastic place to spend a great evening.

We have been going to Eddy’s Ghetto since it’s opening. I believe it was 1995. We always have 3-4 meals there during our visit. This restaurant is lovely and it’s old St Barths. So many of the restaurants are owned by conglomerates now but this one is still owned by Eddie Stakelborough. The food is delicious and has a definite Thai slant. Excellent value!

We started with mango salad with coconut shrimp and this was good. But the main dish duck udon came way too overcooked and salty so i had to send it back. I got the coconut curry shrimp instead but it was just so-so. Service was great though. Very authentic Caribbean vibes and decor. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable. Not sure if I would go back next time.

We were able to be seated 6 of us without a reservation. It was a Sunday night and google said they were closed but they were open and about three-quarters filled. Very nice ambiance, lighting, comfortable table. Lentil salad was good.
