Poor customer service changed our 5 star to 1 star rating. My friend made an error in her initial reservation and discovered within a few days, and 6 weeks prior to our stay, that 5 rooms were booked instead of one. My friend emailed the hotel and received written confirmation from the hotel that the reservation was corrected. When we arrived, there were 5 rooms on the reservation. The kind and efficient front desk staff, Eileen, tried for an hour to correct this error, and continued to work on this during our three day stay, and after our return home 1 week later. It is still not resolved. There is no clear way to communicate with the hotel supervisor nor Staybridge as to how to correct this error. ||That being said, the local staff were very accommodating. The hotel is comfortable and in an ideal location. However, ultimately they have failed to respond responsibly and in a timely manner to resolving a significant error. No senior managerial hotel company staff have been available to my friend, nor was any contact information provided to us at the level required to address this. The front desk staff Eileen made a significant effort to intercede on our behalf, but she required supervisors to correct the error.
