The Ideal Portland Spots to Load Up on Picnic Supplies | Eater Portland

"This Brooklyn neighborhood German deli supplies cut to order charcuterie fixings like speckwurst, Black Forest ham, and gouda, which can be paired with deli salads like German potato salad and coleslaw for a European picnic spread. Shoppers opting for the pre-made route can go for one of the deli’s Reuben options — classic, pastrami, red cabbage, or turkey — before heading to nearby Brooklyn City Park." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Lots of German/European food options. Nice little market and a deli with a full selection of meats and cheeses. Service was ok, maybe a little impatient and pretentious. Prices are a tad high but food is good. They also have a great sandwich counter. Worth a stop.

Stopped here today for lunch and happy that I did! Was super impressed with their food options, and everything was great quality. I got the chili cheese sausage that was phenomenal and cooked perfectly. Before I left, I got some of their beef jerky that they make, which is also a must try!

Google
Great little place! Came here for lunch had the pork schnitzel platter and some clam chowder. Chowder was very meaty and delish! Tasted my hubby's lunch of Bier sausage on bun with kraut and German potato salad. Also, very good. Couldn't resist buying some sausage to take home too!

Google
One of my favorite places to get my german deli meats etc. Been going there for many, many years. The owners changed over the years, and certain items are no longer available, like my Quark, which I need for my german cheesecake. But it is ok 👍. The store reminds me of home Love the place. I hope it never closes. Hands up to all the employees. Keep up the good work Took a video of all the goodies

Google
This is an absolutely MUST TRY if your into to some amazing German food! It’s easy to find. They don’t have a ton of parking soo that can be a lil problematic. When you walk in you find urself surrounded but tons of food! The food they cook for you has never disappointed! The wait time kinda sucks and one of the workers never seems to be happy but it is what it is. But highly recommend this place for some good good food!

Google
Good selection of German goods; Bread, mustard, pickles, wurst, spetzle, lunch meats, cheeses, spices, beer etc. The last time we went to Germany, we filled an entire carry-on bag with such items. We ordered lunch at the little deli counter and it was good, sans the German potato salad.

In a city celebrated for its boundary-pushing culinary scene, Edelweiss Sausage & Delicatessen stands out as a bastion of old-world tradition. Nestled in Portland's Southeast neighborhood this unassuming shop offers more than just sustenance-it delivers a journey to the heart of Europe, where time-honored recipes and hand-crafted techniques reign supreme. Walking into Edelweiss, you're immediately greeted by the intoxicating aroma of smoked meats and freshly baked bread, a sensory prelude to the treasures within. The deli counters glisten with an array of sausages, cured meats, and cheeses, each with a story rooted in heritage. Whether it's the garlicky bite of a perfectly spiced bratwurst or the delicate smokiness of their Black Forest ham, every offering showcases a mastery of craft that feels increasingly rare in today's fast-paced world. The shop's centerpiece is its sausage selection, an ode to the German tradition. Each link is handcrafted, from the mild Bavarian weisswurst to the robustly flavored kielbasa. Sampling these delicacies is akin to stepping into a bustling Munich beer hall, with flavors that are deeply authentic and profoundly satisfying. But Edelweiss isn't just a butcher shop; it's a cultural enclave. The shelves are lined with imported goods-mustards, pickles, chocolates, and German beers —perfect for assembling a picnic or stocking your pantry with European staples. The welcoming staff, always ready to recommend a pairing or share preparation tips, add to the charm, making every visit feel like catching up with old friends. Perhaps most impressive is the unpretentious atmosphere. There's no rush here, no pretense-just a quiet dedication to quality and authenticity. It's a place where regulars linger over a sandwich piled high with pastrami or liverwurst, and newcomers quickly realize they've stumbled upon something special. In a city that often prides itself on reinvention, Edelweiss Sausage & Delicatessen is a gentle reminder that sometimes, the best way forward is to hold onto the past. Whether you're in search of a nostalgic bite or an introduction to the enduring flavors of Europe, Edelweiss delivers with aplomb.

Google
I was excited to visit here because my German raised friend stated this was one of her favorite German type delis in Portland, OR. There were lots of sausages, meats, breads, wines, and market goods to choose from. I especially enjoyed the candy aisle! The deli-store was very tidy. We had lunch there as well. The Ruben sandwich had ample meat, saurkraut, and cheese, but it was just a tad bland. My friend told me the sausage lunches are the best. Great customer service in all aspects. I'm looking forward to revisiting!

Yelp
Came in to get the fixings for Oktoberfest for a group of friends and I forgot to get the number service ticket at the front door. Don't forget to get the ticket!!! The sausages and German potato salad were absolutely outstanding! Everybody loved them! The service was great, and they were very helpful. I love this place. I wish I lived closer.

Yelp
i am REALLY torn on how to present this review. let me start by saying that the deli, selection, and food deserve FIVE STARS !! the thing that bought this review down, was the staff. a couple of them are nice, but the rest of them are probably what make the kraut so sauer!! serious attitudes across the board and as another reviewer mentioned, the one in the beanie is the WURST!! i'm not sure who peed on her lebkuchen, but i will do my best not to deal with her again! such a shame because this was probably hands down the best rueben i've ever had!! we enjoyed it grapefruit bier and german potato salad. we bought several items from the market and were wishing we would have brought a cooler to be able to bring deli items back - but we had other stops to make and .... there will always be next time. i was told that Guy Fierri (of diners, drive ins, and dives fame) put this little portland gem on the map.... but their staff seems to be responsible for removing it just as quickly. Order food because it's delicious - but interact at your own risk!

Yelp
Do I recommend Edelweiss Sausage and Delicatessen? Yes I do! Mine was honestly a quick stop-by. I checked out their expansive deli counter, walked through two aisles of chocolates and sweets and bought a creme and chocolate bar and a popcorn chocolate combo bar. I walked to the back of the shop to their hot food counter and, after a bit of conversation, ordered their suggested sausage on a bun, took it over to their condiment station, and had a hard time selecting from the three mustards offered. I shared it with my husband and we both loved it. Wish I had had more time to stay and order one of their sandwiches.

Yelp
Great place to get your German and European fix! The breads, meats and cheeses are excellent and reminiscent of our years in Bavaria. Friendly and helpful service by the employees was much appreciated!

Yelp
Not really German food. Jägerschnitzel with tons of onions barely any mushrooms. And sadly Weisßwurst is not on the menu

Adrian G.

Yelp
ROTTEN MEAT!!!! I went there and bought 1 bag of groceries It came to $134 dollars. When I looked at my credit card I was billed for $189. Also a liverwurst was sold to me that was rotten inside. I will never go there again. Stay away.

Gnat S.

Yelp
I asked about an item on the menu. I had trouble pronouncing it. My pronunciation was corrected with dripping contempt and I received a lacerating lesson from a beanie-wearing person. Afterward I endured a lengthy fusillade of surly commands. The people who here work seem to hate it. What a miserable place. Nearly all of this food can be found elsewhere in Portland if you know where to look. I have been here a half dozen times and there is nearly always something unpleasant going on with people fighting and tensions high. Screw this place and these people.

Yelp
Old fashioned style German Deli with friendly & helpful staff. Probably the best Reuben in Portland! The breads are to die for! Excellent variety of imported German beers, ales, stouts & Belgian lambics. Haven't seen many of these since European travels. Good European grocery section. This isn't an American German themed place. It's the real deal!

Yelp
So I hate to have to write this because I've been coming here for years. This review is only for sit down dining. I used to come here in the early 90's with both my parents. Being from Poland there wasn't many options for something with the same feel as you would find in Poland. I supposed the feel may be the same but unfortunately the quality has gone down and the prices are just almost ridiculous. And they don't offer free the poppy seed rolls with your lunch. I get everything is expensive now. But 24$ for the hearty meal is just crazy. You have the option to get two lousy hot dog buns with your two sausages and two sides. One you get your food it's packaged in a bag rather than on plates like before. And table side you would have a variety of mustards to choose from as well as a horseradish if I remember. Again I don't want to be negative about this place. But for the service and the quality at that price it is not worth it in my opinion. Sorry edelweiss. I miss the days sitting in the corner booth eating those poppy seed rolls with butter that was so hard you couldn't even spread it. The roller grill was right in the front of the counter and all my mustard I ever wanted was at an arms reach away.

Yelp
Here we are! This is our 4th trip up from Sacramento and Edelweiss never disappoints. We found this joint on Triple D and it is our favorite sandwich spot! The Pastrami Reuben is out of this world good! The Potato salad is old school and tastes like home. The chili and cheese sausage was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back for a 5th time!

Yelp
Avoid. Having witnessed staff verbal violence towards others and now having experienced being on the receiving end, I'm sorry for their angry hearts. It's hard enough in the world without folks tearing into each other. Wish they had more kindness from their minds, mouths and hearts towards themselves and others.

Yelp
This place is a German deli tucked into a small German market. 10 tables. No wait staff needed. Order at a separate counter. When you sit you are surrounded by the nicest German beer selection I've ever seen. Clean and quiet. Order the daily special. Brat (beer brat in this case but a nice selection) home baked roll home made sauerkraut and German potato salad. Reasonably priced. The on tap beers looked fantastic . All the food was right up there. I felt like I was back in Berlin. Just the right tang nothing sweet. Big hit is also the house made mustard Heidi's blend. Fantastic. This lunch place should not be missed.

Terry W.

Yelp
I called in my order and they had it ready in no time. Looking around what else do you need? Beer? Chips? GREAT selections there!
google avatar

Yelp
Zero stars if it was possible. As noted in other reviews, the bald guy yells at customers and the staff is less than friendly. I was in a few days ago as a treat for my 85 year old mother's birthday, along with two others from my family. He barked at her and was beyond rude. Yelling at elderly women is absolutely awful. I heard him and I turned to see my Mom wilting at how abrupt and caustic his was. Owner: do you read the reviews? I am with other author's here, hoping for an apology to everyone posting similar experiences and hoping there will be self-reflection on the impact of this behavior. Saddened at what this place has become.

Yelp
Excellent sausages, bread. They also had souse, it was so good, so good. Vacationing in Oregon, from the Midwest. Can't find souse here.

Yelp
It's been a while since we had some good Bratwurst and German beer, so we stopped here to see what all the reviewers were talking about. This place gets busy on Saturdays, so just take a number and browse through the isles of German goodies as you wait for your number to be called. Or, walk right up to the back and order yourself some food and beer to enjoy right in the store as you wait to order deli meats and goodies to take home. We did both! As we waited to order some German Brats, Pistachio Mortadella and Black Forest Ham, we got to enjoy some bratwurst and Octoberfest Beer. This is definitely one of the best German sausages and deli meat selections in Portland... try some in the store and take some home!
google avatar

Milo M.

Yelp
Employees looked like someone stole their puppy. Everyone was miserable. Picked up lunch from the cafe and did a little shopping on a recent Monday. 1 person worked the till, delivered food to the tables and cooked in the cafe while 3 people stood around doing nothing in the deli space. It took 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches when 1/2 the tables were full. Sandwiches were ok, but for $17 I expect more than flavorless supermarket rye bread and a side of 2 pathetic pickle slices. Toss me some chips. Baked goods in the deli are made by Marsee Baking, so you can get them anywhere. Grocery selection was decent but included leftover Christmas chocolate and several items with 2 different prices. Some were marked up $2-$3 over the initial price. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Yelp
Edelweiss Sausage Co & Delicatessen was on my list for sometime partially because it was on Triple D and partially because I love German sausages! I was not disappointed. Regarding parking, it has a small parking lot. There are sausages, deli meat, cheeses, a restaurant, some pastries, bread and lots of German groceries. I visited during Easter weekend so they were out of a lot of the lunch meat. The sausage supply didn't seem to be depleted though! I bought currywurst, jalopeno cheese, and weisswurst sausages. I also bought turkey lunch meat. All the sausages were delicious. I especially liked the weisswurst. The turkey was tasty. I highly recommend visiting this market.
google avatar

Yelp
Edelweiss Sausage Co is a very authentic and generally great delicatessen / restaurant. We stopped in because we happened to be in the neighborhood, and wanted to grab a late lunch / early dinner. Most likely due to staffing shortages, the restaurant section was closed during our visit, so we opted to get a few things to go. The first dilemma was with where to start. Edelweiss has a HUGE, almost overwhelming selection. Looking for liverwurst? You'll find no fewer than four varieties here. Authentic German meats and frozen bread / rolls you can bake at home? They've got you covered. The flavors and quality of everything we bought were absolutely outstanding, each individual variety of each sausage or meat was thoughtfully labeled, too. The staff were all supremely helpful. I also tremendously appreciated getting excellent recommendations from the amazingly kind customer in line behind us. She was a German native, and offered assistance after she heard us tell the employee who helped us that it was our first time there. Edelweiss also has an excellent selection of beer steins, and other German products such as cookies, crackers, chocolates, and beer. The only detractors are the TINY parking lot, the relative difficulty in navigating here, and the general lack of street parking.

Kara K.

Yelp
Always tasty! It reminds me of all the best sausages in Germany. My family loves this place.
google avatar

Vic C.

Yelp
Great deli, sausages, pretzels, fondue breads, braised red cabbage, spatzle, and authentic German products and food! What a hidden gem!
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
Known for their deli meats, cheeses. sausages and treats from Germany, every once in awhile I stop here to satisfy a craving. It's a small Deli with limited seating inside and a small, busy parking lot so I always go on off hours to make it a more pleasurable experience. The Reuben hits the spot! Only offered on weekends, the pastami grilled on legit rye with , Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing is a flavor bomb! Hard to get anything else when this is on the menu. Since I'm a big fan of ethnic cuisines, I always check out the treats and pantry items and bring a few home. Plus I pick up rye or pumpernickel bread that is so much better than what you find at the grocery store. As others have mentioned, service can sometimes be abrupt and other times pleasant. Don't see that ever changing!

Amy J.

Yelp
Love this place! I frequently stock up on good sausage for the freezer. But worth my 1hr drive up there!!
google avatar

Robert E.

Yelp
Always love coming here. Their variety is amazing. We also take a really long time and ask lots of questions. They are somewhat patient and very knowledgeable. We always get what we need and leave happy. And now they serve food. If I had known, I would have come hungry. Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
Great little slice of Europe in Portland. So many products in a small area. The servers are very nice and attentive. Grab a number as you walk in, even if you aren't sure if you'll buy something. We are lucky to have this and Otto's on the Eastside.
google avatar

Alison W.

Yelp
If you enjoy German foods this is where you need to go in Portland. I love that this is in my neighborhood because I can pop over and grab a couple bratwurst, cheese and rye bread, or fresh baked goods really everything there reminds me of my grandma and it's really awesome. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the products are authentic and top-notch, and please remember if you want to get something from the deli cases to grab a number at the front of the store it's near the register.
google avatar

Yelp
What a find .... So many yummy delights. Icy cold beer yummy sandwiches. And a lot of things to take home and keep the momentum going.

Yelp
I have been a regular customer of this establishment for years. I will say they absolutely have the best that I have found as far as the handcrafted sausages/meats. They have the beat reuben sandwich I have found so far and they only serve it on Fridays/Saturdays I believe. Yummy! The issue I have here is one of the guys behind the meat counter with the shaved head. Over time I have watched this guy yell at customers and get mad if they weren't quick enough with their orders etc. previously I chalked it up to having a bad day but it's continual. :-( The rest of the employees seem nice and it doesn't seem anybody crosses this guy to tell him to tone it down... They allow it to happen so I'm wondering if he is an owner. I don't really care if he is an owner or not you don't treat people badly... They're coming to your establishment to purchase your products. Today I was one of his targets and I also watched him snap at a man who wasn't quite ready to order... Who ended up leaving without purchasing anything. Edelweiss... This guy needs to be in the back room working or enter into some sort of customer service/anger management class. Times are hard and lots of people are feeling down and angry but for customers to walk into YOUR store and get treated badly by one of YOUR employees is just downright wrong. Get it together!! :-)
google avatar

Kiefer P.

Yelp
I have two complaints number 1 is an actual complaint and that the corned beef was dry to dry even. The 2nd co.plaints were not enough inventory or items to browse, but the meat all looked tasty and good. I unsurprisingly, if you go by the name, I liked the sausage.
google avatar

Roze N.

Yelp
Always a treat to stop by this German gem of a deli. Staff is always super nice and boy oh boy the selections of meat/cheeses. Cold cuts: The gold wrapper pate is def something to write home about. Oooh wee and the head cheese w pickles...yup that's a winner! Deli: Cubano sammy for the win if it's on the menu or of course the Reuben duh! (not pictured). Also the BLT boasts 10slice per order. Bake potato salad to round it and add soup bowl of the day. Stick a fork in me...I'm done. Food heaven

Kathy C.

Yelp
Genuine German food. Thumbs up! Upcoming Octoberfest on the menu for party. Will be back
google avatar

Andrew A.

Yelp
First time back in many years, crowded and somewhat stressful in the tight seating area. They were out of Schnitzel which was disappointing. Although it took somewhat long to fill a bowl of tomato and carrot soup, it was excellent. You don't taste the carrot, but it reduces the tanginess of the tomato and makes it creamier. Prices for German grocery goodies are more than fair. More importantly, they carry one of my favorite all-time beers: Andecher Dopplebock. Try it if you haven't. Whatever you do don't make my mistake by eating the delicious - but very crumbly - butter and chocolate cookie in the car.
google avatar

Barbara O.

Yelp
Rude staff. I had questions about their Polish sausage. The guy "helping" was impatient and sounded upset that I even dare to ask. I even heard "this is America!" Seriously?! And btw, their Polish sausage has nothing to do with the real thing.

Bryan B.

Yelp
Would give zero stars if I could. Total jerk, either it was the owner or an employee, came out to scream at me as I waited for one of their 5 or so parking spots, that I was blocking their driveway. I told him my wife was inside shopping and I was waiting for a spot and would move as soon as anyone left. He screamed "I don't care, move your car, don't block our driveway!!!" repeatedly and followed me as I moved, yelling the whole time. We were one of your better customers. We have a large German family and bought a lot of food both for ourselves and to bring to the family as gifts. We will not be back. I will take this review down if I receive a personal apology from the person who "doesn't care". Otherwise it stays up and I will post it everywhere else I can find. My wife and I own a small business and would never treat a customer like this. We would terminate any employee of ours who did. We would care enough to try to make it right. Edelweiss??
google avatar

Randy T.

Yelp
My wife used to work for a German bakery and this place reminds me of that with all the different German products available. I went here because it is a Triple D spot and I always tried to hit one while I am traveling for business. The sausage on a bun with fleisch salad was was so good. They no longer serve the Ruben sandwiches mid week due to shortage of available workers, so I will have to come back on a weekend to try it.
google avatar

Ally F.

Yelp
The highlight here is the Reuben, and their incredible meat, cheese, and chocolate selection. I bought a bunch of pork chops and spaetzle to cook at home, and everything is top quality. The staff is incredibly welcoming.
google avatar

Darren O.

Yelp
Such a great sausage, meat and German/European shop. My wife works nearby and we come here every so often. They have a lunch stand inside with limited seating. There are usually multiple assorted sausages on a flat top that you can choose from. I normally get a sausage with sauerkraut and German Potato Salad (heated). With the assortment of mustards this is an amazing lunch. Have had the Reuben. It is great. In my top five in the region. My only silly complaint is that their rye bread gets so crusty being grilled that my mouth is kind of raw after eating it. Hasn't stopped us from ordering it though- so good! Its fun to look through their aisles of European goodies. My wife who is from Canada, loves seeing things she used to get when she was growing up. Minus 1 star as sometimes the line moves slowly during lunch hour. Still worth doing. Great place!
google avatar

Fiona L.

Yelp
Cute German all in one shop! For a small place, they sure pack in a lot of goodies. First stop, go to your right and order something from their deli. Meanwhile, you can shop around for other goodies. They carry a wide variety of bread, sausages, cheese, everything you can name! I wish I could've ordered their bread made from Germany, but my hands were already full. I ended up getting salmon caviar, pate, smoked ham, and a very nice maple syrup stout. For takeout, we ordered a BLT and Pastrami sandwich with two sausages. BLT: 3/5 whatever tasting Pastrami: 3.5/5 Hefty ingredients, flavors were kinda missing though Sausages: 5/5 Flavors and casing on point. Not a fan of their sandwiches, but sausages were fireeeeeeee. I'd be back to try out their fresh bread and cheese.
google avatar

Craig H.

Yelp
Rude! The dude in the beret was a real jerk taking our order and how he spoke to customers - not just us! The place was hopping busy - our first visit. I had a Ruben - it was pretty darn good for 10.00. My wife had a bier sausage - also very good. The kraut, meh meh meh. Did get some bier sausage and some candy to go. I probably won't dine in again - but the sausage is worth beret man's attitude.
google avatar

Mike F.

Yelp
OMG why have I never been here before. Came here for lunch and realized it is across from Bushwhackers also. My brother in law raves about their sandwiches and German food. I has the Ruby which was the Pastrami filled Ruben, and it was perfect. Just the right amount of kraut and they have their own sweet and hot mustards which I mixed. Best sandwich in a long time. They have tons of German imported food, we picked up some spaetzle and a half dozen of their home made sausages. We dropped those sausages on the Traeger and cooked up the Spaetzle in 20 mins. Delicious!!!!! This is going to be regular place to grab food for lunch and from the butcher counter. I have a lot of meats to go through behind that counter and can not wait. Still can not believe I have not been here but I am so dang glad I have now thanks to my Brother in law.

David S.

Yelp
Outstanding quality, authenticity and breadth of product. Old style ambience and excellent customer service.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
Many of the meats are the real deal. Service is always slow but done with a smile, traditional deli cit to order.
google avatar

Paola D.

Yelp
I LOVE this place! Their food is over-the-top amazing and their sliced deli meats are exceptional. In fact, my 16-year-old son will now only eat their Black Forest Ham, Turkey, etc in his sandwiches because the grocery store stuff simply doesn't compare, at all. It's a bit cramped inside, but it's stuffed with super interesting, awesome food and if you go during a busy time, expect to wait because this isn't some fast-food joint so be patient. For the haters saying that the staff has bad attitudes, I've never experienced that, but maybe that's because I always bring a positive attitude when I go, and I believe that what one puts out, they get back in return.
google avatar

Parker P.

Yelp
Not giving them five stars because the man behind the deli counter was very rude and condescending. Otherwise it's a nice store with high quality products and they offer lunch.
google avatar

Patrick W.

Yelp
When it comes to authentic German sausages it doesn't get any better than the beer sausages here. The array of other options of pate and liverwurst are also quite authentic. I've been educated pretty much all sausages have fillers, but at least here there aren't any hard bits. If you're serving sausages to guests, buy them from here and you'll be a star. Parking a bit of a challenge when busy but street parking just a block away is usually plentiful.
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
Nice collection of German foods and beer. House made sausages and charcuterie They also offer some sausages on lunch menu
google avatar

Tony A.

Yelp
Ever since the closing of Old Country Sausage on NE Sandy we've been looking for a butcher shop that offers a quality smoked garlic sausage. I've come across a few very good places, but so far Edelweiss Sausage Company & Delicatessen takes the lead. Edelweiss is a fantastic shop, offering not only an excellent smoked Polish sausage but also a wide variety of other smoked meats in addition to several kinds of cheese and breads prepared and frozen in Germany and then shipped to the store where they're baked. The store is impressively well-stocked, with aisles of imported packaged foods and dry goods as well as an array of tempting bakery items, even marzipan fruits and little figures (angels, reindeers, Santas) for the holidays. The butcher we spoke to was extremely cordial and helpful and more than willing to let us sample products. The store itself is small but immaculately clean and clearly organized. Wonderful, friendly customer service. Small parking lot out in front.
google avatar

Lucas K.

Yelp
This is another Portland gem! There are three parts to Edelweiss. There's the meat and cheese counter, there's the lunch counter, a market filled with European grocery items. This is a true European market. First the deli counter. It's not uncommon for everyone, customers and employees to be speaking german. If that's the case and you don't speak german, just point to what you're looking for. It doesn't matter, everything is amazing! However, I do have some recommendations. The german bratwurst, bier sausage, Hungarian sausage, Hungarian Salami, wine cured salami, pastrami, and smoked ham are all excellent. However, their braunschweiger is outstanding! I get this every time I stop in. In addition to the meats, don't forget to pickup some cheese. They have a huge selection. Don't be afraid to ask for a sample. The staff is here is very friendly. For the lunch counter their Reuben is outstanding! There are also a variety of sausages available. Also, I highly recommend their baked potato and german potato salad. The market there is also impressive. Many of these items I've only seen in Europe. If you come here in the weekend don't forget to grab a number, the place will be crazy! But it's crazy for reason, everything here is outstanding.

We decided to go shopping at Edelweiss. While my husband ordered all the sausages and bread we wanted, I discovered all the German candy. I especially love black licorice. The red stuff is raspberry syrup, and most Germans will shake there head's in disbelief. So when I came back to my husband with an arm full of candy, he just laughed. We were both very happy, and I can't wait to go back.
