"Clothing-Optional Eden Beach Islands of the Caribbean with historically strong ties to Great Britain aren’t exactly known for letting it all hang out but just to the south of Galley Bay Resort and Spa, is Antigua’s one-and-only clothing-optional stretch of sand: Eden Beach. Intrepid (or maybe a little fool-hardy) travelers can borrow bikes from Galley Bay to make the trip, but be warned: there are several steep hills standing between you and taking it all off, but, as I found out on my last visit, that just makes the payoff that much sweeter! The beach is much larger than you might expect with lots of private nooks. There’s even an exotic mini-islet within swimming distance from shore. The place is positively picturesque. But you’ll have to show some restraint. There’s a strict “no cameras allowed” policy out of respect for your fellow nude neighbors."

Antigua's Clothing Optional, Secluded Paradise 🏝️ Eden Beach is one of Antigua’s most serene and unique spots pristinely beautiful, completely secluded, and the island’s only clothing optional beach. It’s the definition of a peaceful escape for those searching for solitude, natural beauty, and a touch of freedom with the occasional visit from wildlife, like the local pigs! 📍 Location & Access: The beach is most easily accessible via Hawksbill Resort (my entry point). Other paths exist, but the resort route is the most direct. From the guard gate, it's about a 15 minute walk following marked signs until you reach a gate with posted rules. ✨ What Makes Eden Beach Special: • Soft, white sands that gently slope into crystal clear turquoise waters • A private, untouched atmosphere perfect for sunbathing, reading, or quiet reflection • A strict no photography policy, ensuring full privacy and respect for all visitors Pro Tips: • Bring your own snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and shade there are no services unless you're staying at the resort • Arrive early to grab your ideal spot while it's rarely crowded, mornings are especially peaceful • Water shoes are a must there are rocky reef areas, sea urchins, and even hidden thorny branches buried in the sand • Follow the resort signs carefully, and respect the beach rules at the entrance gate My Experience: Eden Beach felt like a hidden oasis. The combination of raw natural beauty, tranquility, and the option for a more liberated experience made it unforgettable. Whether you go for the clothing optional vibe or just to soak in the peace, this beach offers something rare and special. 👉 Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, and anyone looking to go beyond the typical tourist beach experience in Antigua.

What’s not to like when you can sun bath in your most natural state? To get here, enter through the Hawksbill by rex resorts and walk through the gates (see photo). You will find yourself with a long stretch of sand and free usage of beach chairs. Swim to the rock if you want to see some marine life, but be aware of the sea urchins. Water shoes highly recommended.

Eden is open again (Nov 23). Just say to the people at gate to Hawkesbill that you want to use the beach. They will politely advise that there is 'construction ' and to be careful walking the hotel path. No construction on Eden though. So peaceful, so relaxing and generally fairly deserted. If you are nervous about naked you will be able to find a private spot or maybe have this massive beach all to yourself as I did for some of the time I was there. As with other reviews, be careful getting in the water. Around the hut is usually best and pick a 'landmark' so you can find the same spot to return. If you do go for a swim and have mask or goggles, the island supports some pretty marine life and there don't appear to be any dangerous currents between it and the beach. ... and it is 'clothing optional' so there is no pressure to go nude. Give it a try. Enjoy

A very nice long stretch of beach. The only official nude beach on the island. You have to walk through the resort to get to the beach. Lots of shady trees and bushes to relax under. Not the best beach to swim at. The water is very rocky for most of the beach and you should be careful of sea urchins as well.

Great beach, the 4th beach that is. It used to be very busy but is quiet and relaxing now. There are some days when it's full of activity. Great place to chill out from the hustle and bustle. Almost a mile long beach to enjoy. Refrain from touching the manchineel trees, they can severely burn you if touched and don't eat the fruit. They look like small green apples and have a sweet smelling scent. They will burn your throat and cause breathing issues and in some cases cause death. No vendors to worry about. Make sure you bring your refreshments and snacks. Swim out to the rock and look at the marine life. Or just let it all hang out on the beach. Be careful though, the sun's rays are more direct and if you're not careful, you'll end up burning yourself especially those parts that aren't used to seeing the sun.

Eden beach is a little bit or paradise in paradise. While this is a slightly more challenging location to get to if you're not staying in the Hawksbill Hotel, its absolutely worth it. Walking naked along you basically private Caribbean beach is a phenomenal experience. You do need to choose where to get into the water carefully, but is that really the end of the world! Absolutely worth a trip!

It’s like a dream! Walking clothesfree on a beautiful long sand beach and swimming in the aquamarine ocean. No buildings or civilization to interrupt the experience. Of course that means no drinks, food, or toilets. However the Hawksbill Resort is only about a 100 metres away and they have a lovely restaurant. It would be a great place to stay for naturists. If coming from Saint John’s (where cruise ships dock) it is only about a $20 USD taxi ride each way.
