I had a facial with Anna today and it was amazing! I’m a person who routinely gets facials and the whole experience blew me away. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by excellent and knowledgeable staff who are prepared to assist you and make you feel welcomed. Once you enter the spa space, you’re transitioned into such a luxe, comfortable environment that prepares you to relax. The treatment itself was fabulous and I left feeling like my skin was fresh and gorgeous. Highly recommend Eden and any service with Anna. I will be back soon!

I love Eden and all it has to offer! I know I will always find high-quality well-curated products, and their amazing new spa helps me unwind. They do an incredible job helping you find the perfect product, and their newly added spa experience is top notch. Anna is so phenomenal and professional - I started with a consult where she got to know me and discuss what treatments will be best - I learned so much from her! The spa itself is so calming and a perfect escape to relax in; my skin is always glowing and I feel recentered from the treatments to the little details they provide along the way (such as amazing tea and snack for the drive home!). I just can’t say enough good things about Eden. Love love love it and highly recommend!

Wonderful shop with a mix of beauty and wellness items. A great selection of well known brands including Byredo, Diptyque, Augustinus Bader, and more. Tori was incredibly helpful and showed me and my friend around the shop, answering all of our questions. We didn’t have a chance to check out the spa, but the services looked incredible and will have to come back for that.

I went to Eden a few weeks back to treat myself and had the most amazing experience! I booked with Anna and I’m so glad I did. From the booking to checking out everything was smooth. Anna explained every step of what she was doing or using on my face and was knowledgeable of what each product did. The spa itself is luxurious even down to the robes and snacks provided! The glow I had after my facial, I can’t even explain!! I will most definitely be booking again with Anna as soon as possible!

Went to Eden for the first time this weekend for an amazing facial. big shoutout Anna Dewey we follow each other on instagram and I'm always seeing her fascinating posts on instagram about Eden and the services that Eden has to offer. I was truly intrigued... The store and spa area is very serene, smells clean and overall good energy. Ms. Anna Dewey gave me one of the best facials I've ever had... so good that I purchased a few of the products! I left GLOWING and felt so beautiful. Also, I must add that Anna was knowledgable and informative which I truly appreciate. I will be back for another facial, lymphatic drainage and brow lamination! I'm super pumped! I will be telling all of my friends about the amazing Eden and Anna :) It's crazy I've been living in dsm for 29 years and I've always seen Eden and never stepped foot inside. So thank you Anna for helping me discover this amazing gem...

Just had a facial at Eden’s new spa facility and was so impressed with the service. The spa is beautifully designed to feel very lux and relaxing. Mikayla was my esthetician and she really took the time to understand my skin and walk me through the products that were used. I left feeling very relaxed and excited for my next appointment.

My sisters and I swear by this store for so many different skin care needs. Pictured is one of my new favorite on-the-go lotions. It helps with severely dry, cracked hands. They also have some of the best candles ever (Capri Blue is amaze).

Eden has a delightful selection of products in their store. They carry things from candles to face products, lotions and bath products to the best candles you'll ever smell and some amazing refillable household products like detergent, cleaning spray, glass spray and even pillow mist. They carry some of my favorite brands like Kiehls and Lollia as well as smaller brands like Krpris (who makes the most amazing treatment for zits. GET YOURSELF SOME) If you're looking for a gift for someone in your life, this is the place to go. They have a great section of baby gifts and amazing choices for a housewarming, birthday or thank you gift for a girlfriend. Check out Eden next time you're in the East Village and treat yourself to some self care products. They've got you covered.

Lovely little shop carrying some of those hard to find skincare and bath products including Kiehls. Organic cleansers, bath accessories, and gift items also adorn this pleasant store. Wonderful smells adorn the storefront in an inviting loving manner. There is also a section for children's books and accessories.

Great skin care, hair, makeup, and overall life products. They have awesome products year round with brands like Supergoop, Herbivore , Osea, and SO many others. The staff at Eden is the best and they just seem to love their job which is always such a good sign. Also if you don't follow their Instagram - do it! They show how they use different products and how different products are good for certain seasons (sunscreen, dry skin products, etc.). They also do pop up events with other local businesses - this spot it great check it out! Also free parking in a lot to the left of Gong Fu that is for Eden and Gong Fu customers!

This is a must-stop whenever I come through Des Moines! I absolutely love this store and part of town. Eden is perfectly curated and chock full of feel good gifts (for others or yourself) like beautiful candles, soaps, salves, kids books, and more. I was here most recently a few days before Christmas, specifically looking for a couple last minute gifts. Things are a little on the pricier side, but everything they stock is pretty high quality. I managed to find some fun break open geodes for about $18 each, but easily could've spent hundreds here. They had some really helpful folks working there who held my potential purchases behind the counter as I shopped--they also wrapped up both of my gifts for free. For optimal luxuriousness, grab a tea next door a Gong Fu and make sure to get yourself a treat while at Eden. Hoping this shop continues to thrive for years and years!

The best smelling store in town! Eden is a beautiful store filled with great gift ideas in the bath and beauty departments. They also carry a selection of cool old toys and trinkets that you can't find anywhere else in town. The staff is wonderfully nice and will help you find that special gift for someone. They throw great parities and huge supporters of local literature and art. I recently did a reading for the Spoilage Lit Magazine there and they treated everyone like kings and queens who walked through the door. I was only a few steps in where they, offered to get me a drink from the back, I like that kinda service with a smile! If you are coming to Des Moines and watch to shop the local boutiques do not pass over Eden. It's one of the best in town!

This is a must stop on the Christmas shopping excursion. Lots of great gifts, for the mens and the ladies. The products smell and feel fab on your outer covering. Ask for Marisa, she knows best.

Before I came to Des Moines I scoured San Francisco to find candles, perfumes, etc. to bring as gifts for my boyfriend's family, and boy did I feel lame when I found every single thing I brought at Eden. But aside from that, this alarmingly sweet shop stocks everything a product-loving guy or girl could want: Diptyque candles/perfume/soap, Tocca candles and perfume, the FULL Kiehl's line, Voluspa candles and perfume, Cucina soaps, tons of L'Occitane, Marvis toothpaste, Rosebud salves...and Ugly Dolls! If I lived in Des Moines, I'd have a problem.

You might die this place is so amazing! You will literally want everything in there. Full lines of amazing and hard to find products. Want to pamper yourself? This is the place to do it. Staff is always friendly and helpful and have great ideas for gifts, the best gifts! You wont regret coming here, your new addiction awaits! Oh, and they throw some amazing parties too!

The staff at Eden was so helpful!! I have loved their store and products for a while, and I wanted to get Mother's Day gifts from Eden. During the pandemic, they responded to my email and helped me get gifts for all the wonderful moms in my life!! They are so helpful and kind!! Plus the gifts are perfect! I recommend this store to anyone looking for a unique gift or just wonderful lotions and potions for yourself!!

I love that unlike most local boutiques, this store pretty much carries the entire product line of every brand they sell. It's nice to know I can make certain "regular" purchases at a local business. I also give them huge plus points for carrying MALIN&GOETZ and Voluspa, which I've had trouble finding in Iowa. The employees here have always been friendly but never hovering, which is nice because sometimes I feel shy using samples in these kinds of places. I also love that they have a lot of smaller lip balms, mini-perfumes, and sample sizes so that I can make impulse buys without going overboard.

Eden has a great selection of natural beauty product and the BEST smelling candles! I love exploring and always find something new to go home with. :)

Hidden gem in the east village! This little boutique is just adorable. I've lived in Des Moines since 2013 and I am upset I am just now finding this place. Only store in town that I have been able to find Kiehl's products!

We visit a few times a year to stock up on our favorites! They have a wide range of the best products, have a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere, and the nicest owners!

I love Eden. Who wouldn't? All my favorite bath & beauty products - the ones I used to stockpile when traveling to bigger cities and more exclusive boutiques - are right here in one charming store. Bumble & Bumble, Caldrea, and everything the previous reviewer mentioned... it's like heaven! Depending when you visit, you might get lucky and find pretty vintage necklaces, shoulder bags, fancy bath soap for your dog, or any number of fantastic finds. It's easy to spend lots of time in here as it usually smells heavenly and there's so much to look at... unfortunately for my wallet, it's also very easy to find lots of things which I absolutely MUST buy!

This place is quaint and smells incredible inside. They have soaps and lotions from all over the world. If you are looking for a great gift for that special someone who loves fancy French lotion this is the place to go. They also have a great selection of toys and books for children. I love that they have integrated an iMac as their point of sale - may not be a huge thing to some people, but to me it is a an elegant piece of office equipment. Lots of the products can be sampled and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

Lovely little place in the east village area of downtown Des Moines. All manner of scents, potions, & lotions. Great to see a an outlet for Kiehls. I just picked up some classic 'Smiths lip balm strawberry' they now carry in a tube. It was definitely a good day.

Stopped in here on a recent visit to Des Moines and this place had everything I wanted and more! The person working was friendly and very knowledgeable about all of the different lotions, soaps, etc. Selection was great. I went in looking for lip balm and left with a valentines gift and a wonderful card too. Highly recommend!

My wife & I stumbled upon Eden while walking in the East Village yesterday, and now we're wondering why we didn't go in sooner. Wonderful selection of bath & body products (the ENTIRE Caldrea line!) and great service.

Jen provides a great selection of fabulous products. The customer service is top notch and the staff is always looking to help.

Eden is one of those amazing places where you always feel at home. Staff is great, products are excellent and there is always something new and fun to check out. I've shopped Eden for myself, my family, for gifts, baby gifts and my husband. Something for everyone. Local stores ROCK and this is one you shouldn't miss.

Eden offers a fantastic array of goods not easily obtained otherwise in Des Moines. However, the owner is lacking good customer service and people skills. She seems bothered and almost annoyed every time I've shopped at her store. I don't feel as though I can ask her questions about products. She had someone else working there awhile ago who was very friendly and warm, answered questions and was cheerful, but I don't think she works there anymore. Eden carries so many things I love and buy often but I'm over the snobby attitude. As much as I want to support local business, I'll buy the same things online and not have to feel like I'm a bother.

I find this shop to be very dusty, messy and unorganized. The "owner" as I heard her tell someone, was talking bad about someone who had criticized her on twitter. Sad that she didn't have the class to stop talking in a catty tone and help the customers who were standing right there. I will not be back. Everything in this store can be bought online for less. So there's no reason to put up with snooty service in a dirty shop.

The best Little Shop in Iowa! Excellent customer service and speedy delivery! Products are luxurious and affordable.
