"A quirky and cute boutique hotel, Eden House feels like a home. Don't expect a sprawling resort complex with overeager bellboys; rather, you're in for a traditional, wood-paneled Key West house fringed by palm trees and other lush greenery. Each room is unique. In the most basic rooms, you won't get a TV, a refrigerator, or luxe amenities, but they're are clean and charming, with extremely comfortable beds. The pool area is the place to be at Eden House. Eden House

"Why did this hotel catch your attention?A quirky and cute boutique hotel, Eden House feels like a home. No sprawling resort complex or overeager bellboys here; rather, this is a traditional, wood-paneled Key West house fringed by palm trees and other lush greenery. What's the backstory?Owner Mike Eden purchased the house in 1975. The 1990 Goldie Hawn flick "Criss Cross" was filmed here; it was based on the 1976 book by the same name, which was written here. Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book? Each room is different. In the most basic rooms, don't expect a TV, a refrigerator, or luxe amenities, but they're all clean and charming, with extremely comfortable beds. Splurge for the Porch Deluxe and enjoy evenings on your private porch swing. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi?The Wi-Fi is free. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at?Azur Restaurant serves mostly Italian cuisine, some with a little Key West flair. Try the shrimp-topped yellowtail snapper, but don't skip any of the signature gnocchi dishes. And the service? This is a tiny hotel, so although you can't expect staff to move mountains like you would at a larger chain, they're tremendously friendly, warm, and engaging. What about the neighborhood? Where are we exactly? The hotel is on Fleming Street, just a few blocks from the main drag of Duval. Any other hotel features worth noting? The pool area is the place to be at Eden House. The staff is even happy to recommend restaurants that will deliver straight to your lounge chair. Bottom line: Why are we choosing Eden House? If you don't need the hand-holding of an ultra-luxe hotel, this is a great way to get a slice of true-blue taste of Key West." - Laura Ratliff

Will definitely make Eden House our go to whenever in Key West! It's such a cute boutique hotel with very friendly staff! Upon arrival, we were offered a beverage, alcoholic and non alcoholic, and also were personally walked to our room! The 24hr coffee in the lobby was great and helped to keep me energized for the duration of our trip! The hotel was kept clean and the yard very manicured! The only complaint I have, which is none other than my own is that our room's shower didn't have a door to separate it from the main room. ( I was traveling with my teenage son )This being said, we improvised and hung a towel wall from the shower door. As far as convenience, the hotel was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do or see while we were there! Wonderful hotel with great staff! Can't wait to visit again!

Great vibes from the minute you arrive at Eden House. We stayed in the annex room. Simple and clean. Very comfortable with a very cool glass block shower, cedar walls and two porches. The best thing was the nighttime swimming and hot tub. Super walkable to Pepe’s Cafe and the main strips but in a residential area. So fun. Restaurant next door has a great brunch, too.

This was a fantastic experience! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were great. The whole atmosphere of the place was intimate and cozy, but so charming and having everything you could need. The location is fantastic with everything in old town Key West within walking distance of around a half mile. If walking isn’t your thing, there are free buses, or you can rent bikes or golf carts to get around. Overall we were thrilled with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We spent 7 blissful days at Eden Hotel, and it truly felt like paradise! Despite the small pool, the maintenance was impeccable, making it a gem. Host Gemma went above and beyond, making us feel like family. The poolside room was perfectly located for us. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel safe. We loved the location – walking distance to everything, with stunning sunset views. The other guests were great too! Thank you, Gemma, for your wonderful hospitality – we appreciated your presence throughout our stay. We'll definitely return!

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Key West! I had a fantastic stay at Eden House Hotel in Key West! The rooms were absolutely immaculate—clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful, offering great recommendations and making check-in a breeze. Car parking on site on a first come basis .it’s definitely manageable, especially considering how walkable the area is. Overall, a perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy everything Key West has to offer. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff were nice and the room was clean and that's all there is good to say. The room was a tiny broom closet (see photos). If you rolled over in bed you would hit your head on the sink. To get to the toilet room, not bthroom, because the shower was in the main room and any one in the room can see you in the shower, you had to crawl over the bed. No room between the bed and the wall to walk. (see photos). The safe they give you for belongings was on the floor because there was no surface to put it on. If you didn't want your suitcase on the bed it had to be on the stand in the toilet room and the toilet. We reserved months in advance and they gave us the worst room they had. Whatever you do don't let them give you 107. I saw in the window of other queen rooms that were better. No closet, no table, no desk, if you wanted to bring food to the room you had to eat sitting on the bed.

Yelp
We had a wonderful Anniversary/Father's Day weekend in Key West and chose the Eden house based on location and reviews. We were greeted by a friendly woman at The front desk who showed us a room or Two to see which worked best for us. We loved our room in the second floor overlooking the street: it was very quiet, had a swing hanging on the porch as well as rocking chairs..so cozy. Inside had a big comfy king size bed and adequate amenities. We slept so good! It was away from the action but close enough to walk to it all easily. We will definitely choose the Eden House again and the same room too :) also lovely housekeeping staff ;)

Yelp
We arrived in Key West at 9 AM, thinking we'd just stay for the day and head back later in the evening. However, around 3 PM, we decided we would stay the night. Eden House was able to accommodate us within an hours notice. Upon arriving, we were treated by friendly staff. Witnessing the interactions between staff, you could tell they cared about one another. Our room was comfortable and the A/C worked well. We booked a king room, and it was plenty for just a one night stay. The bed was a little soft for our liking, but was not a deal breaker. One think we really liked was that they allow guest to enjoy the pool and hot tub 24/7 as long as they are respectful and keep the noise down. Our room was just a few steps away from the pool, and we did not hear anything. We enjoyed the complimentary beverage upon check-in and the coffee bar. Parking is not great, but this is not the fault of Eden House, nor is it a deal breaker. They have a lot big enough for maybe 10 cars, and street parking is first come, first serve. They are located in a residential neighborhood, so most of the street parking is permitted for residents. We suggest finding street parking prior to check-in, then exploring Key West, and leaving your car parked - as you may not actually need a car depending on your accessibility needs. They offer inexpensive bike rentals and have a large inventory. There are also nearby golf cart rentals. Eden House is in walking distance several restaurants and amenities. Yet, far enough from the hustle and party of the downtown area. We would consider them in the future.

Yelp
Mercedes at check in was great. Charming place. Very Small Room. Parking Is a Real Issue. LIMITED and 1st Come 1st Served. You Are NOT Guaranteed a Space. Just Be Forewarned. The only other issue was the INTERNET really never worked in our room. Sometimes it did, but only for a minute or two, before always being knocked off line. Front desk said it was because of the 'concrete walls'. Was able to get internet outside the lobby area on the front porch.

Yelp
Great location. Water available on first floor for dispensing as needed (highly needed in the summer sweltering heat). Room was clean and noise was surprisingly non-existent given the fact that the pool is open til late. We had swing chairs and rocking chairs outside of our room, which were comfy and nice for chatting. I thought the welcome beverages were a nice touch and highly appreciate that they don't charge for parking (unlike most other hotels). AC is the old kind so we had to put it on 60 something in order for it to feel like 70 something, but not a huge deal. Highly recommend Azur (the restaurant attached) for dinner.

Yelp
This place is very well located (5 blocks off the main drag Duval Street), has a lovely pool and patio area, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Right across the street is a stop for the Duval Loop Shuttle that goes around the Old Town area. But... We booked Eden House for 6 nights. For $360 a night one would expect some normal room amenities like a bathroom, a closet or armoire, maybe a chest of drawers, a bedside lamp. My room was completely devoid of any of these amenities, although it did have a mini-fridge and a microwave. There was a sink in the middle of the room, a toilet in a separate little room and a shower stall; the walls were bare. It was impossible to unpack as there was no place to put anything. No bedside lamp (one was eventually found by the second day). And the foot of the bed was about 15 inches from the wall so one had to scoot sideways to get around it. In Europe this would be a 1-star hotel room costing $60/night. There was absolutely no resemblance to the pictures on the website. One of my friends rooms was similar, my other friend had a larger room with a bathroom and a rack with hangers for clothes. We all paid the same price for the rooms. And so, I would caution folks to find out exactly what their room would be like - I was in room 109 and my friend was in the similar 107. I would stay there again but not in these rooms.

Yelp
We stayed here for four days and had a great experience. I would give it five stars except for a couple things. PROS The property is very charming. I'm glad we stayed here over a chain hotel. They did a wonderful job of designing the outside area with a pool, waterfalls, tiki bar, hammocks, and decor. We enjoyed spending every afternoon outside by the pool, and morning coffee on the deck outside our room. The room was small, but expected. Everything was clean, including the towels and sheets. AC worked well. Housekeeping was very quick everyday. Staff was friendly. There was fresh coffee and lemonade in the lobby everyday. There was also a small gift shop and free postcards of the hotel. I'm glad we stayed in this location, and not closer to the touristy area of Mallory Square. It was a quick walk to Duval St or the Old Town Harbor, but it was in a quiet neighbor. They also had quiet hours, which we appreciated. We did not have a car, so I cannot comment on the parking. CONS The bed seemed old. It was not firm and every time my husband rolled over, I felt the mattress shake. Our biggest issue was that the website said "complements gym passes." We choose to stay at hotels with gyms. When we requested the gym passes (gym was a 0.3 mile walk from hotel), we were told they were discounted day passes for $20 each person per day! We told the hotel how this was misleading. They gave us ONE day of free passes out of the four we were there. We were not happy about this, We would stay there again if we do go back, and just make different workout plans.

Yelp
Loved our stay at Eden House. Night view from gazebo with porch swign, hammocks, fun tiki bar staff, easy to rent bikes, and overall relaxing vibe make this an easy choice to return to! Location was central to everything yet quaint and quiet. Room was snug, but clean and made nicer with our own little porch. Staff were pleasant and available if needed.

Yelp
Reserved a room, cancelled 4 months before check in and they will not refund the down payment even though I have two written communications from them stating they would fully refund. I have submitted complaints to Southeast BBB, department of business and professional regulation and FTC. This is fraudulent.

Keith H.

Yelp
Horrible. Construction constantly over the entire property. No heads up, no discount, no refund, no concern at all on their part that they ruined our entire (expensive) vacation. There was nonstop loud banging, sawing, drilling and hammering and the entire place was like a lumber yard and construction zone from 10AM to past 10PM every day. Water turned off at random times, unfinished open decks to step into and fall, no guard rails on stairs. This place should be closed down. Stay away. Owned by Primevacations. Avoid anything they are involved with.

Yelp
I stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and this is my full review. The pro's: location is good! This is only a ten minute walk to Duval street, only a ten min uber to the airport, is tucked away in a quiet part of the island, the AC works really well in the room, the happy hour you CANNOT beat and the bartender was awesome. Also, enjoyed the pool as well. The con's: I found the staff to be borderline unfriendly, staff was only okay. They didn't let us know about bike rentals or pool hours (pool is open 24/7!), the bed is extremely firm, lastly: the bathroom mirror is mounted so high you have to be at least 5'5" to see in it. I could not. The rooms are small but for the reasonable price and ample rooms, this is not a big deal at all. The place was very clean, two keys are given per room, you can request room service if needed but due to COVID it isn't standard which was totally fine by us. Overall, I think this is a great option, good bar, has the basics, great value and good location.

Yelp
First, I will say that the Eden House is a place that "was" always a favorite destination for my family. We have stayed there dozens of times since the late 1980s, bringing many friends and family members as well, most recently with my Son in May, 2021. However I cannot recommend the Eden House to anyone, based upon our experience with them this past year. In July, 2022 we made a reservation for a stay at the Eden House from September 17 through September 21, 2022....to celebrate our 34th Wedding Anniversary. We placed the required $787.00 deposit on our credit card. A day or 2 before we were to depart Rochester to Key West, we were concerned with the path of Hurricane Ian...because there was the potential for Key West directly in it's path. We contacted the Eden House front desk to inquire about the local situation and to get their recommendation. The front desk insisted we should not travel to Key West due to the storm, and that the Eden House would not be able to guarantee services depending on how hard the hurricane hit Key West. She also stated that the Eden House was actively changing reservations and was assisting evacuating some guests in advance of landfall. Taking the front desk's advice...we cancelled our trip. The Eden House cancellation was handled by that same front desk clerk during that phone call. The front desk rep told us that we would not receive a credit card refund if we cancelled, but instead would receive a "house credit" which we could use for up to one year after our original reservation. We did not receive a cancellation confirmation number or email but assumed the staff person had made the necessary notations on our reservation profile. We were not concerned based on past experience with Eden House staff (always great) and the fact that they were dealing with Hurricane Ian. We subsequently received refunds for all elements of our planned trip to Key West...except from the Eden House. Several months later we made a reservation to stay at the Eden House in March, 2023. In the process of making this reservation it was discovered that the "house credit" we were told we should have received was not added to our profile and therefore could not be applied to our new reservation. Until this issue could be cleared up, we decided to cancel the second reservation...giving the Eden House time to find their records and to apply our past $787.00 deposit. Since then we have had numerous emails with the Eden House trying to get our deposit from July, 2022 on a new booking. Our credit card issuer would not assist because the initial deposit charge that was processed was too old. Apparently, the Eden House is under "new management" and no one can locate any records pertaining to our "credit" toward a future stay. The Eden House customer service rep was insisting that we provide an email confirmation of cancellation/credit. Unfortunately, as the Eden House never provided this to us and never indicated this was part of the credit process...we could not submit a form we never received. We have submitted all proof to current management regarding our reservation, the deposit they received and an explanation of what transpired. The person with whom we have been communicating since March, 2023 wrote us "I completely understand your feelings and I would feel the same too" but "without any proof that there is a credit I can only rely on the Management to approve it". She says she forwarded our message "to the Manager asking her help. But they are so busy that they may haven't seen my email as I am only working remotely I cannot follow up face to face". She doesn't know what else she can do to help us "other than wait" on management's decision. She closed her last communication in June, 2023 by stating she would forward our email to them and ask them to reply directly to us "to avoid further issue". To date we have received no response whatsoever from "management". We have not had any resolution to the situation we have experienced. The Eden House retained our full deposit. We are saddened that this situation has marred our memories of the Eden House that was built by Mike Eden and his tremendous staff.

Yelp
We stayed two nights at this funky spot. Parking was easy and off the street. Check in was personable and easy- seems they still do most of the paperwork by hand. They gave us room keys on bottle openers as the key chain- with our choice of a can of beer or soda. Our room was off the pool area with a little porch which worried me some about the potential for late night noise but that didn't happen. The rooms are smallish but clean and well maintained. We had a great stay!

Yelp
We had a great couple days exploring Key West. We chose to stay at Eden House based on Yelp reviews. It's pricy, we stayed in their "studio" and it was very disappointing. We reported the toilet was not working on the first night. It was not corrected so if you are staying in room 403, you will need to use the trash can to collect water and flush the toilet. The lights in the bathroom are extremely dim and difficult if you are doing your make up. We pulled the lamp shade off and added another lamp (w/o shade) from the other room to make the room bright enough. Be wary of sitting on the swing that is elevated on top of the pool pump. It was disgusting (see pic) really needed a cleaning or needs to be replaced. Be careful of the bar stools (see pic) they are very loose and unsafe to sit on. If you like water pressure for your kitchen sink, room 403, is not good for you! Once you discover the mattress on the queen bed is uncomfortable, you can use the air mattress under the pull out couch. I was in the Marine Corp for 9 years and had better sleep on cots in Desert Storm and on the back of C-130s aircraft. We spent about $1100 for two nights and other than the location, which is nice, this isn't a great place to stay. Bring your smallest vehicle, we brought our Toyota Rav 4 and I would hate to think I was parking anything larger. What worked for us was parking our car for the entire stay and renting a scooter. This could be a very nice place to stay if it were professionally maintained.

Yelp
Staff were all friendly and happy to help/answer any questions. Clean room with a really comfy bed, great location for walking to restaurants/shops near by.

Yelp
All these places are pretty costly so it's nice to visit one that is ready to step up should there be a problem. Upon arrival we found a problem and fixed it. The owner took it seriously and worked to redeem herself immediately. We had a really tight itinerary this stay, so we only needed the space to sleep and nothing more. The longer we stayed the more awesome the place became. It's older clientele was down to party and respectful at night. The happy hour can't be touched. The water temp in the clean pool and hot tub was perfect and close to an ice machine. Really liked the cold water, coffee, and tea station! We will be back, see ya in October!

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel that's off the beaten path. One of the oldest homes on Key West. It's got a pool and jacuzzi and a happy hour daily! They've got a delicious restaurant attached. *minimum parking*. Swings and hammocks to relax in. Free WiFi.
google avatar

Lellie S.

Yelp
Thank you Eden House for a wonderful 11 night stay! This was our first visit and we couldn't have asked for better. All the staff were kind, thoughtful and attentive. The place was very clean, including the beautiful swimming pool, hot tub, patio and decks. We got a room with a porch swing and it was so worth it. Platform bed, so it was super comfortable. Everywhere was walkable, and we loved eating brunch next door at Azur (most generous mimosas on the island). Place has tons of character, and we thoroughly enjoyed the complementary happy hour at the Tiki hut. Definitely booking again.

Yelp
Best place we have stayed in Key West. From the clean rooms, the larger than most pool, hot tub, tiki bar and happy hour, bike rentals, the property itself that is spread out and many places to relax, to free coffee, tea and filtered water, it was great! All of the staff we encountered was very nice and friendly, but a special shout out to Mattie who was beyond helpful and just a burst of sunshine! Will absolutely stay here again.

Michael M.

Yelp
3 complaints - had to wait 40 minutes before room was ready - sat in lobby & watched 4 other rooms be assigned to other arriving guests -Daily 'Happy Hour' didn't happen on Sunday? -Restaurant associated w/hotel advertised as open daily - well it was closed when we went to have breakfast Monday morn prior to leaving for airport Im a planner so it frustrates me when plan goes haywire - property was clean & cozy - if they stuck to script l'd be more satisfied - was not inexpensive

Cheri M.

Yelp
I should probably start by saying that I am not being paid for this review! LOL I cannot say enough about this place. It's fabulous. It's clean and small and quaint and perfect. The pool is beautiful. The upstairs porch is so peaceful. The people that work here are kind and helpful. I can't wait to come back and I was sad to leave. By far the best place I've stayed. If you're looking for old Towne charm, there's no reason to look anywhere else. If you're looking for boring corporate/big city environment, this is not it and I hope it never is. The only slight issue we had was finding parking, but I assume that is because it is such a popular place.

Pamela P.

Yelp
This was our second time staying here and we love it! Staff is very accommodating and friendly, rooms are clean and cozy. We'll be back!

Tuli S.

Yelp
This place was awesome! We booked a room through hotel tonight for roughly $200. When we arrived the room was pretty small and on the ground floor next to the lobby. Randy helped us out and suggested that we upgrade if we needed more room. It was only $15 more for an awesome room! All the rooms were clean and nice- not sure what other reviews are complaining about. They had a FREE happy hour which we were pretty psyched about. Parking was free as well (as long as a spot was available). They also had free coffee in the lobby. The jacuzzi and pool were nice but we didn't have time to use either. This place was a great deal! It was a little further away from Duval street but we walked back and forth while we stayed. We would stay here again!

Yelp
This was my 7th time staying at The Eden House and it's still my favorite hotel in KW! The pool is beautiful and the property is perfectly maintained. Fatima at the front desk was amazing, can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
This is one of the cutest boutiques I've ever stayed in. I booked through Hotel Tonight so seemed to have been bumped to the bottom of the nice rooms. Room was really small so it only suits for one or two nights for one person. AC unit is extremely loud so kept me up most of the night and being in the 100 rooms I was right in the path of people coming home late at night/ leaving early in the morning. The pool and outdoor area are amazing and the best part of this hotel - luckily it's where you'll spend most of your time. Staff are great!

Jacquelyn K.

Yelp
Eden House is exactly as advertised. The pictures are accurate as is the information on the website. There are a few updates that Eden House could make that would improve the guest experience: (1) add floor length mirrors to the rooms; this would not take up much space and would make a significant difference; (2) upgrade the linens and towels; they are middle quality and not comfortable to use; (3) upgrade the shampoo and body wash; they are middle to low quality. The daily happy hour, hammocks and pool are really great, and we enjoyed those amenities. The room was extremely cramped, but it was the low quality amenities within the room that bothered us the most. Overall, I felt like the Eden House was an adequate hotel for the price point, but found myself wanting a few minor upgrades to improve the guest experience.

H M.

Yelp
So, I read all of the reviews and thought, "Oh, that sounds lovely and relaxing". Well, first let me say that there was group of 6. We rented three rooms. One of the rooms had no working AC. They had to relocate to a smaller room and was only slightly compensated. Our room was so small that you had to turn to the side to walk past the bed and get into the room. Also, we found out that the hotel had changed management the week before. The first few days were nice enough. Then the weekend came. There was a group of about 20+ people that took over the hotel. Rented a musician to sing live for them. (Not very good). The were blocking the stairs so it was difficult to get to and from our room. The group was very loud. Started at 10:10 am and just kept going. New management did nothing to accommodate the other guests. It was very obnoxious. So, DO NOT fall for the "quiet, relaxing"experience that their website claims. I will say Tonto at the bar was super friendly and very informative about Key West and made great drinks.

Kecia M.

Yelp
Hubby and I enjoyed our 6th anniversary at this cute quaint little jewel. We stayed downstairs suite with a semi private hot tub and porch. Great service including a bottle of Prosecco for anniversary. Also a nice complimentary happy hour at pool side bar. Close to everything. Only a bike ride away. Only downside was a loud obnoxious group that stayed in room upstairs (cops called ). But not owners fault. We would definitely comeback.

Yelp
We recently stayed at the Eden House for a very special occasion, we were getting married. This was our second year staying at the Eden House and this is where we will always stay when traveling to Key West. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, the entire staff went above and beyond for everything that we needed during our stay. Randy actually brought me to the dry cleaners to get my wife's wedding dress steamed in his own personal vehicle. Mike Eden also made us feel right at home as well as a few of the desk clerks, bartender, and housekeeping staff. We received complimentary champagne and so many congrats. The grounds are gorgeous and very relaxing. Everything is so well kept and we love the vibe. We want to thank you for making our big day so special!! See you next year. Ted & Erika McDermott

Yelp
The service here is excellent. The front desk person was amazing and outlined a map for us and walked us to our room. Location is within 1 mile of everything. I really like the outdoor walkways and the central pool. BUT The rooms themselves are terrible!! At least mine was. My friend booked a deal on Hotwire where you choose the stars, but they don't tell you the place. She got Eden House and I didnt know what it was. When we got here, the room was RIDICULOUSLY small!! I stay in about 20 hotel rooms a year and it was the smallest hotel room I have seen in my life!! Also, the most weirdest thing was that the bathroom sink is not in the actual bathroom, but next to the foot of the bed!! I found this so bizarre; for people that rinse themselves after using the restroom, it is completely yuck to have a person go outside the bathroom to fill a vessel!! And even to wash hands it seems gross. The bathroom was horribly cramped with no exhaust fan so it became suffocatingly humid. There was no bathtub, only a shower stall with shampoo and soap in a dispenser. Also, you cannot lock the door from the inside only a person in the bedroom can lock the bathroom for you. The bathroom has no mirror; in fact there is no full length mirror in the room. Honestly, Days Inn, Travelodge, Microtel, et al all have much better rooms. If the room was nice, I would have given the place 4 stars as I definitely think it has a unique, homely vibe. But I don't even want to stay another day in Key West because my room is so terrible.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED this place. Free beer or soda upon check in. FREE HAPPY HOUR like what?!?! How can you beat that??? All the staff are friendly and nice. The property is filled with hammocks and tree swings, perfect places to drink your FREE coffee or tea from the lobby every morning. You know what I loved more than all the free beverages (lol)? The fact that we visited in the middle of summer and didn't get bit by a single mosquito! How is that even possible in Florida during summer??? They must spray & have mosquito repelling plants. Or super powers. Our room was cute and clean. We got the standard room (no upgrades) after the Hyatt screwed up our reservation and we were scrambling to find accommodations last minute. But ya know what?! This place was so much better! I can't rave enough about Eden House. We are definitely staying here when we come back!

Yelp
We found the Eden House on Yelp and booked on Expedia. I would definitely book here again. It is quintessentially Key West. We received a yelp checkin bottle of wine and Jeff who helped us both days was Awesome! He assisted us in booking a double dip snorkeling tour. We rented bikes for 24 hours and biked everywhere we went for 2 days. Only drawback was our room was tiny, no tv, but it actually pushed us to sit outside in their beautiful lobby and pool area. The area is quaint and serene.

Yelp
Property is contaminated with BED BUGS. My wife had to see a doctor after dozens of bites appeared on her body after a 2-night stay. The room was tiny and unpleasantly humid, with the wall-mounted A/C producing more noise than cooling/dehumidifying. Avoid at all cost.

Yelp
I adored my stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My room was small but it what was I needed. AC worked well. Room was clean and toiletries were supplied (shampoo, conditioner, soap) which was a plus as it was less stuff I had to bring. Very close to the attractions and Duvall was a short walk away. I loved the quirkiness of the place. The heated pool and hot tub were wonderful. My stay at the hotel was the highlight of my vacation and I will definitely recommend them. Great job to all that work there.

Yelp
I would recommend Eden House to most people, absolutely. Who wouldn't I recommend it to? Sweaty and drunk 21 year olds with beer bongs. Eden House has a beautiful landscaping and very clean rooms. And I am super picky on cleanliness- like I will sleep in a jacket and pants in hotels that are dirty. Staff was great. We were very impressed by Ryan, Randy, Jeff and Stacy. We got in super early in the morning and had to quick head out to board boat to Dry Tortugas. Stacy was super sweet, got us set up with ponchos for rainy day, and locked our bags up for later. EJeff helped my husband find a great restaurant. He was just a super caring, sweet guy. Made a great impression. Really cared about making the right recommendation and thought through how we were going to get there even. Spent the last day hanging out at pool. There are a ton of little nooks to hang out in. Pool chairs are limited, but it's a small place, so it's to be expected. Another cool thing. The stuff to buy in their 'Eden House' shop was great. Like an actual option - shirts for women - instead of gals being stuck in dude t shirts. Cool non overpriced hoodies, etc. Ps we got the smallest, cheapest room possible and are still giving Eden House 5 stars. I can't wait to recommend it to folks we know. If I ever go back to Key West, I will def stay there.

Yelp
Very cute, laid back no frills kind of place. Clean rooms, walking distance to Duval Street. Bike rentals available. Grounds were kept up, pool area and hot tub were great to have right outside our room. We didn't want a "party" hotel, just somewhere nice to kick back and this was it. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Thanks! (I didn't give 5 stars only because not all the overhead lights worked and no full length mirror. I had to get ready for a wedding, which was a bit challenging.) Otherwise, great 5 day stay!

Yelp
Loved this hotel! It's so Key West! Very clean rooms are small but comfortable. Great pool! Beautiful grounds! Can't say enough nice things about this place. The only reason why I won't it give 5 stars is because they don't have decaf coffee. When I asked if they were just out of it I was told they don't serve it, have never served it and they won't accommodate me for the 4 nights that I am there. Really?!?! I can't be the only person that goes to key west that drinks decaf.

Yelp
One of our favorite hotels, if not the favorite. We had a cozy (sure, a little small) room, which was perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable, and had a great shower and air conditioning unit. The grounds are beautiful and quirky--with great ambience and a fantastic pool!--and they have a kind and helpful staff. Basically, it's a hotel metaphor for Key West. Caleb at the front desk checked us in and helped us find a parking spot when we arrived late. We walked almost everywhere during our visit, with the exception of Smathers Beach. We refilled our water bottles from the water machine often. At least one sweet cat wanders the property. They're also very community-oriented, with music and happy hour in the afternoon and early evening. Afterward, there's a respectful understanding of quiet. Two great nights of sleep thanks to the way the place is run. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel for our visit! We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Ding Dong! This place is all right! We hitchhikered our way to Key West from Miami. Whatta trip. You should try that sometime. We arrived at Eden House weary, road hard and perspiring profusely. Kayla immediately recognized our strife and guided us to relief. They have iced tea and coffee in the lobby at all times! I love some Lobby Coffee. Poolside Happy Hour from 4-5pm and it certainly is. The property is heavenly. Like an oasis. The property manager, Elizabeth, took great care of us. Our room was very well appointed and air condition. The bed? Like my mama's womb, but not weird. I slept for 9 hours straight. That never happened before. Elizabeth got us some bikes to ride around on. We were not not far from Duval St but not in it, if ya know what I mean.

Yelp
We have been to Key West several times and each time gets better and better. This time we were lucky enough to book at the Eden house. This is my favorite side of town and I loved staying there. The staff was amazing and friendly and made our short stay feel like home! My room was small ( I knew this going into it. I don't book KW to spend time in doors) It was efficient and There was lots of storage and it never felt small. It was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable and it was always cool! That's pretty much all you need! The pool was awesome and they had complementary floats and a free happy hour! Wow! Thanks Eden house Staff for making our stay in 106 one to remember! Till next time!

Yelp
Our stay was lovely, it is very cute and cozy, great service but it's very very very small room. The bathroom has just a toilet and small shower, the sink it's next to bed, no closet just some hooks next to bed, a roof fan, and a wall a/c unit. The pool was a lot of fun, heated, there's a very convenient bar next to jacuzzi, and there's a couple of comfy hammocks. Another important thing is that they do have complementary parking which is hard to find there. My major complain was the chlorine from the pool was extremely strong, it damaged a few things and everyone's eyes were in a lot of pain and swollen; also they use brown towels which it grossed me out a bit.

Yelp
Eden House was a nice little hotel, pretty close to the rest of Key West. Parking: They have free parking, but it's definitely not enough for the number of guests they have. We parked on a street nearby (beware - don't park in ones marked residential). Reception: Staff were friendly and helpful. They even give you a little tour of the place. The reception area has a good place to sit, as well as free coffee and tea. Room: Our room was very clean, if a bit on the small side (we did opt for the smaller room). The AC was loud, but effective at cooling the room. Bed was decently comfy. The bathroom was also clean and well-stocked (although without a hair dyer). Our two complaints are that the shower mats need replacing (they looked grungy) and the water flow/pressure was way too low. Amenities: Although we didn't take advantage of it, they apparently have a free alcohol hour at their bar from 4-5 PM. They had a few bookshelves with books that you can borrow and board games. We ourselves played some Scrabble. They also have yoga mats that you can borrow. Their pool and hot tub area was great and clean - they also provide towels at the front. Overall, we'd probably stay here again when we're in the Keys.

Yelp
Great place to stay and free drinks from 4 to 5pm. Only concern was that hotel room was small and didnt have a separate bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Toilet was private only. I shared a room with a friend and didnt have much privacy with showering since shower doors were see through. However, better than a hotel chain any day.

Yelp
Loved this hotel so much. My boyfriend and I stayed in the delux room with a porch swing situated right next to the hammocks. Upon arrival there wasn't any parking in the area adjacent to the hotel so Jeff directed us where we could go to find free parking in the street, which we were able to do without a problem. Jeff then checked us in, offered us a free beverage and gave us a little tour of the grounds. We just missed their daily happy hour and only stayed one night but will be sure to check it out in the future (it's situated in a beautiful outdoor bar area). Our room was adorable. Yes they are small but very clean with wifi, cable and a decent sized fridge (which was nice because we're FL locals and had road tripped with cold snacks). The air conditioner in the room was a little loud but this is an original Key West property so it wasn't unexpected or bothersome, I only bring it up in the event that it's something other people wouldn't be a fan of. The hotel is 5 or 6 blocks from Duval St which was perfect for us, close enough to walk but far enough to be able to sleep. It's also a really nice walk to and from Duval on Fleming St. We would definitely stay here again. Overall, the grounds were beautiful and well kept, Jeff was great and we loved the location.

Yelp
I love the Eden House. From the fabulous Victorian house-cum-hotel lobby with its sandalwood incense, to the free Tazo ice tea, free sodas, rental bikes outside the front door, coffee and tea on tap all day, complimentary wine and beer happy hour by the lush tropical pool. Our room had a lovely private deck overlooking Fleming Street, with two rocking chairs, and a swing. The room was a great size. Parking is available, but limited. Your best bet, if you strike out, is to go to the main public parking lot on Grinnel and just leave your car there. The jacuzzi was nice, as were the hammocks. The gardening is just beautiful, as is the property at night when it is lit up. Staff were so friendly and helpful. You really felt they couldn't do enough for you. You can rent bikes that are right outside the front door, and have the front desk arrange tours, and pick ups right from the hotel. Two that I would recommend are Lazy Dog Kayak, and also Floridays. It's a taste of Old Florida with every creature comfort you could want. Very clean and comfortable.

Yelp
TERRIBLE. Worst hotel ever!!!! We booked a room for 200$...and guess what? They gave us a room, smallest room i ever seen. Seems like prison room with terrible smell of restroom. After that, they showed us another one, truly not better than first one. Maybe they doing business like that??? Website showed me absolutely another room. Guy at front desk told me that they don't have another one. Very disappointed and sad. NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL!!!

Yelp
Definitely not a hotel ! More like a b&b from the 50's. I started off giving this place a really bad review and I have to take it back. It's one of the very few places that I've ever been and still are talking about months after my stay. I was speaking with friends the other day about our stay at Key West and couldn't laugh any harder. It is definitely a place you will remember. Not the most comfortable, not the most affordable but an experience beyond others. If you're used to being pampered by hotel chains and having someone bring your bags to your room this is not the place for you. But if you want experience that you will laugh about for months and probably the rest of your life visit the Eden house. Tell Wally I said hello. Recommended for a lifetime of storytelling.

Yelp
Nice place with a friendly staff and, for Key West, it's reasonably priced. The property is made up of several old houses and there's a pool in the middle of the buildings. They also have a complimentary happy hour booze cart where you can make your own cocktails by the pool. The only thing that keeps it from five stars is the lack of any soundproofing. You can hear people in the halls walking by and talking in the morning. It's only about a quarter mile to Duval Street and is in a residential area. They also offer bike rentals for $10 a day.

Yelp
Parking is not guaranteed, we had to park a block away. Really sucked after twisting my heel and not able to walk. Felt like we couldn't even go to dinner at night for fear of losing our spot We were prisoners at the Eden house and had to eat in our room and not many places deliver. WIFi not the best. AC at first would not go below 74 which is too warm when it's a hundred and four out.

Yelp
First time to Key West and so glad we stayed at the Eden House. We loved it. Everything about it seems so Key West! We loved it's coziness, cool factor, cleanliness, friendly staff, conveniences in room and around the hotel. We would totally recommend this place and would definitely go back. People complain that it's far....it's a few blocks and it's kind of nice to leave the lights, noise, people in the tourist areas and come back to the comfortable chairs on the front porch, the swings and chairs right outside our room door, the pool. They offered 20% off at the restaurant, Azur, right next door and we ate lunch there the first day and breakfast the 2nd day. Delicious and great staff. There is an awesome juice bar and restaurant, Date&Thyme Organic Cafe, one block away also. Go to Key West and treat yourself by staying at the Eden House!
