Eden House Retreat

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a studio cottage. I wasn't sure what to expect from pictures online but it was nicer than expected. The room has been nicely maintained and was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The bathroom felt a bit dated but was perfectly fine. The faux woodburner fireplace was nice and extra cosy. There are candles at the ready and matches as there was a brief power cut during our stay across all Yungaburra which seems might happen sometimes, but was nice and ambient on a cosy rainy night. |Slept well in the comfortable bed and was very quiet setting. Lovely maintained tropical gardens surrounding the cottages.|There is a restaurant at the property but not open during our stay early in the week. |Excellent location in town.|Enjoyed our stay.

Our friends and I stayed in two quaint cottages. A spacious room beside a huge bathroom and small outdoor patio. An electric fireplace and candles for ambience, air conditioning for warmth (the temperature dropped the night we were there), a large, comfortable bed, a slightly sunken lounge with a TV for entertainment and the biggest shower and bathroom that was divine. There was also the offer of complementary port and a coffee machine. It was just a short walk to view the platypus or access the pub and shops. Also a restaurant on site which we would have loved to have visited. We definitely could have stayed longer.

This is my favourite accomodation in the Atherton Tablelands. It’s always clean and comfortable. I love the spa cottage with the faux fireplace and the quaint garden area. Meg is always friendly, helpful and accomodating. We will be back again.

Our favourite getaway for recharge time. The outdoor shower is a stand-out feature. Thank you to our host Meg for everything. Don't miss dining at little Eden... holy moly is all we can say.

This is a fantastic place to stay Cleanliness is fabulous and the room big and spacious The little things make the difference Fresh flowers .. candles .. little mini bar and fresh cold water.. sheets , pillows and towels just beautiful. I will be staying again Love Cathy williams xxx

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Yungaburra. Loved that they were able to make the cottage accessible with shower chair and ramp for my partner who uses a wheelchair. We stayed in a garden cottage - I loved the outdoor claw foot style bath in the courtyard. A lovely way to spend an hour under the stars with a glass of red. The little inclusions and decor made this overnight stay even more enjoyable. We will be back.

We stayed for a few nights in a comfortable room but were let down by the weather which was wet and cold. A highlight was dinner at Little Eden, the restaurant in the historic building (lots of character) on the main street, at the front of the accommodation. ||||It's not often I think just about every menu item looks good. Everything we chose was great, we would have gone back again but it wasn't open every night due to staff shortages. Friendly, prompt service.

We went only to their restaurant as we were staying next door - very nice atmosphere - lovely staff - food was excellent and served in a timely manner - great drinks list - a small menu but covers a lot to choose from - really great garden area surrounds
