I stayed at the Eden for 3 nights. The hotel is in a really nice spot in the Jewish Quarter, a few steps away from some nice restaurants while still being nice and quiet. It is about a 15 min walk from the nearest train station (Grzegorzki - you can get pretty much anywhere from this station, including Auschwitz and the salt mines), and about 15-20 mins into the main square and tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but lots of options. Being vegan, I did struggle a little with the breakfast and usually just had toast and an apple. But for the price, I can't complain! The building is lovely and has lots of character, room was tidy but a little dated. ||I would stay at the Eden again, but there were a couple of things that I noted:|- My room was right next to the stairs and reception, so it was quite noisy with people coming and going at all hours of the night, as the reception is staffed all night. |- The room was very dark and I had to have the lights on even in the day. I was out a lot, so it didn't bother me too much, but I imagine in the summer it would probably be quite stuffy! ||I'm not sure exactly how much I paid for the hotel as it was part of a package deal, but it can't have been much - the whole holiday was only £260. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice budget hotel in the city.
