My sister rented the pavilion for a family picnic. Very roomy with lots of picnic tables as well as a grill for your use. Peaceful and bucolic with plenty to do for everyone. There is a nature center, historic mill open to the public as well as hiking trails and a launch for kayaks and canoes. Great place to visit for an easy walk or a hike. Lots of flower plantings. Well maintained grounds.

Nice park for a small hike, has plenty of clean trails along a river that looks great for fishing. The only downside was all of the non smoking signs. I personally like to smoke while on my walks.

Nice historical Gris Mill used for camps and educational programs. Well marked trails which are mostly easy. You could walk all the trails in a day easy. Benches and ‘overlooks’ along the way allow for water breaks and rests if needed. The office has all sorts of history and artifacts and the person working was very informative and friendly. Great place to experience nature and have a picnic lunch!

Beautiful place to relax with friends and family. Bathrooms were clean but ran out of soap. Trails were beginner friendly, there were a few warnings about copperheads so be weary!

We love Eden mill. One of the best places I've ever taken my children to go swim and rock hunting. We take rocks from all over the places we've visited and we put them in our garden or we paint them and put them out for other ppl to find and keep. It's a cool, neat, and fun thing to do with ur kids especially at Eden mill. I myself have went rock hunting and I have found some amazing looking rocks. Rocks are unique and it's just somethings about rocks are interesting to me. When my kids get older and grow up I want them to remember us doing fun things together and I know now Eden mill will be a place my kids never forget and hopefully they'll be able to do things with children of their own at Eden mill.

Yelp
Eden Mill is one of our golden retriever's favorite places, the moment we turn onto Fawn Grove Rd he starts pacing and crying/barking, vocalizing his excitement, eagerly anticipating the swimming that's about to go down. We usually park at the small parking area at the end of the road where the bridge is being reconstructed then walk down the path to the water. Our golden loves leaping off the concrete stair at the bottom of the path then we take a short hike down the trail so he can dry off. There are several different trails you can hike and a lot of weekends they have "ranger encounters" where a ranger teaches you about the local wildlife, flora & fauna. The nature center has different animals and displays inside and there's also a working beehive and beautiful garden where you can observe the birds & butterflies and they have a pavilion with picnic tables. If you enjoy kayaking, this is the place for you, they have a couple of areas where you can launch and cruise Deer Creek at your own pace.

Yelp
Love love love this park! There are endless sceneries to enjoy--creekside, meadows, woods. We love hiking the trails and they are very well-planned and marked. The pine tree alleyway is my favorite! The waterfall from the dam is a cool feature, and during the warmer months they allow people to kayak with multiple launches. They have a large pavilion, several parking lots, and bathrooms on site. Get your camera ready for some great shots of nature!

Yelp
Walked around the nature preserve. It was hot outside. Hiked on some easy and moderate trails. The hike was a little more than a mile long. Stopped at some places that were beautiful to look at during the hike. The mill was interesting to look at. The nature center left a lot to desire. Was happy that it was open on Saturday even though goggle said it was closed.
