Beautiful suite in a great location, close to all the best bars, shops and restaurants. Welcoming host and a lovely, fresh breakfast in an outdoor courtyard setting. The steam room-shower is an added bonus. For those from the north of the northern hemisphere, note there is no air-con which is only an issue during ‘canicule’ as was the case for us (fans provided in room). And we parked right outside!

Fantastic French townhouse in excellent location. Beautiful breakfast in the authentic dining room. Rooms very spacious and stylishly decorated. Bathrooms amazing with wooden bath and steam room. Highly recommended.

We spent two blissful nights at Eden Ouest recently, and stayed in the Yellow Ochre suite with its lush bathtub and private hamman. Eden Quest is a contemporary boutique hotel in a beautiful old french building that has been perfectly restored, situated right in the heart of town of La Rochelle, close to the old market, and on short walking distance from the lovely old port. Breakfast was superb and delivered with more than just a personal touch by Céline, who runs day to day affairs at the hotel. Eden Ouest is a high-end place, and full of character. We’ll certainly return when visiting La Rochelle in the future.

This is our second saty at Eden Ouest La Rochelle. Location is excellent, in the heart of La Rochelle, yet it is very quiet inside the property. Parking is available within 10-15 minute walk. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The rooms are large and well furnished. Although no air conditioning fans are provided if required. Breakfast is lovely. Great stay.

What a fantastic place to stay! Right in the historic centre of La Rochelle, close to the amazing market. The house itself is beautiful, full of art works and at the time of our visit in June 2022 it hosted an exhibition by a local artist. Our room was perfect, comfortable and well equipped, and opening up into a magical garden. We were made incredibly welcome by Léa and Bertrand. The breakfasts were magnificent, cheese and ham, eggs, fresh bread and croissants. We had not visited La Rochelle before, but we have determined to visit annually, we liked it so much. We will return and certainly to Eden Ouest, no better place!

The room, especially the bath room, with a two person beautiful wooden tub, a steam room/shower large sleeping/living area, with lovely decor and small balcony were absolutely wonderful. The hotel is very underwhelming from the front with an equally underwhelming the entry, but once you get to the room (no elevator so beware), oh the room makes up for everything. Trust me, it is much better to underwhelmed by the outside and the entry and overwhelmed by the room (and balcony) than the other way around. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a fantastic place to stay. A beautiful home filled with the owners and her friends own art which makes it a very special place to stay. Our welcome was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and what can I say about the breakfast! Freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, home made yogurt, croissants and bread from the local organic bakery, the green tea served in a beautiful tea pot, just perfect. The suite was perfect a beautiful bathroom and again art work to feast your eyes on. I could not recommend Eden Ouest highly enough, no where better have we stayed in La Rochelle and a special mention to the lady who hosted us, prepared the amazing breakfast and answered all our questions, thank you for making our stay so special.

Stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the mauve room which is large and airy and opens onto the garden via french doors. It has a large bathroom with an amazing wooden bath and a shower with steam room.|The house is a beautiful old french building which has been restored beautifully. It’s very quirky (the owners wife is an artist) and full of character. Everything is high end in the guest house and it certainly feels very special. Breakfast was very good with choice of teas, coffee, fresh fruit and yoghurt, and a variety of french pastries and breads and jams. It’s taken in the pretty walled garden.|Bertrand the owner was very helpful, speaks excellent English and made us feel very welcome.|The guest house is a 5 minute walk from the old port and is near the excellent market and shops. it is quiet at night despite being close to some bars and restaurants. |Highly recommend and would definitely come back.
