John Leguizamo’s Grub Street Diet

"I flew out to Miami and went straight to the Nobu Eden Roc hotel for lunch because I was starving. I had a meeting in one of their restaurants with some investors and producers of a project. We had hummus with lots of crudités, a slice of cauliflower wheat pizza, and some build-your-own fish tacos. Plus lots of Fiji water, a coffee, and an iced tea." - Vanita Salisbury

Eden Roc is officially my favorite Miami Beach hotel. The rooms and public spaces have a gorgeous, calm, zen feeling, and the staff is experienced, kind, and genuinely welcoming—check-in was smooth and effortless. The food and drinks at the lobby bar and Nobu coffee shop were fabulous. Christopher was the most special Person at the front desk! He was beyond kind and professional..so helpful! Larry, too, was incredibly helpful with our luggage and even guided me to the UPS downstairs. The spa and hair salon were wonderful—Eiliannas was exceptional with fast, expert color and cut, and David made the salon feel warm and inviting. Soinese kindly brought an extra coffee pod right away, and thanks to her the room was spotless with a stunning ocean view. An exceptional hotel—I can’t wait to return.

My company had our offsite here 1/4-1/9/26. They couldn't have picked a more amazing spot in Miami Beach! From the friendly staff to the superb accommodations, it was just perfect. The food and drinks were all top-notch, and the pools and hot tubs were perfect. I can't wait until next year!

Overall my husband (reservation under Landsburg) and I had a great time at Eden Roc. I will start with the positive! Modern rooms, cool lobby, art deco decor, 3 large pools and a great beach layout. The location is perfect and you cannot get any better. Max, the Bellboy was super attentive and helped us with all our Shabbat needs (was fully aware of what needed to be done). He went above and beyond! The spa was incredible and even if you just do the day pass without a treatment it’s worth it. The Negative: Terrible, terrible and incompetent front desk staff. I’m not sure how they are sourcing staff the days but they had zero personality and zero understanding of basic hospitality. The check-in process was very slow and it took them over 2 hours to get a fridge delivered to our room (while our food was sitting out). This is the frontline of any hotel and for a four star hotel in the heart of Miami Beach this was not it!

Everything about the hotel is “fine” but nothing that justifies the cost. Rooms were comfortable and balcony had a great view. However when we called down because the reading light didn’t work, they told us they were out of those types of lightbulbs. Turn down service was offered one the first night and last night we were there, not the nights in between. They were out of towel at the pool and told to “grab a chair” and they’d bring some over. Watched as they escorted other people to chairs with towels and chairs covers - ended up having to get our own towels. It’s the accumulation of a number of small and inconsistent issues that will have us staying somewhere else on our trip to Miami Beach It is worth noting that every aspect of the food service at the location was fantastic - the food was delicious and the service was spot on

Paid for a $1200/night oceanfront room and requested a high floor. When I arrived they put me on the lowest floor, my view is a wall and trees. Woke up and checked the in room dining menu on the TV. Clearly displays breakfast until 11:30am so we planned around that. Tried to call room service at 11:15 but the phone didn’t work. There was note on the room card “Need something? We’re just a text away” so I messaged that number, the number is not service. Finally was able to get the hotel operator from my cell phone who then transferred me to in room dining. “Sorry, breakfast ends at 11am” contradicting the TV 11:30 that we planned around. Manager made no effort to rectify the situation. Coffee machine needs repair, the sink is clogged and dirty. Stayed at Eden Roc Cap Cana I expected the same level of service and quality here. Unfortunately very disappointed.

Totally unimpressed with this property and had a very bad experience. First off, we shelled out for the beach front rooms and the balconies were underwhelming. They were very open and exposed and had absolutely no privacy from the rooms next to you. Our beach front room also ensured that we had front row seats to the neighboring property's construction and dumpster. We were not given any notice of this when booking, they just happily took our money. I asked for a higher level room to minimize the dumpster view, but we were told they were 100% at capacity. Fast forward to a few nights later, we were woken up to a noise so horrid and loud, we thought it was severe weather sirens. We eventually figured out that a truck with an industrial vacuum pump was parked in the loading dock at the neighboring property just below our room. This went on for hours. I called the front desk and was dismissed. I walked down to the front desk at 2 in the morning and was made to feel like I was insane for wanting someone to do something about this. The next day after a lot of effort, we got to talk to the property manager. He wouldn't believe me(a woman), but after a stern talking to from my husband, we were granted a room on one of the top floors for our final night. The top floor rooms were of much higher quality, and I am outraged that they are the same price. Aside from all of that, the hotel feels very outdated and the location isn't very convenient. This trip felt like a frustrating waste of money and wasn't the relaxing retreat we were hoping for.

Lovely but overpriced. We had a beautiful balcony ocean front view (2 queens) but no microwave, the fridge was fully stocked to no room to put your own things in there (we requested a 2nd empty fridge at 35.00). I probably wouldn't stay there twice, although once was a very friendly and visually happy experience.

We booked through resort pass a cabana at Eden roc hotel. We don’t realize the cabana was in the shade and the staff immediately made accommodations to move us around and bring us into the sun while making the experience seamless. Milka, Chris, and Charles were fabulous on Friday Dec 5! They were very attentive while giving us space to relax. What a wonderful experience!!

Yelp
Eden Roc is a hidden gem. It's priced extremely well for the amenities that it offers. There are three pools, bikes to rent and full services bars by each pool area. They have rooms that provide an Ocean View as well, which is extremely nice. Service and personnel are five stars. Everyone is super helpful. A tip is to get a King Bed Ocean view if possible. The bed is generally facing the window which could provide a nice wake up view. The Queens face the television set up so you don't have a direct outside view, but it depends on who you're with!

Yelp
We absolutely love this property. The pools, hot tubs, beach access, sunscreen machine are 5 star. Cafe Inez has great iced coffee, sandwiches, fruit & cheese / mouse cakes.

Yelp
Lovely lobby and very nice staff but rooms have dinghy floor tiles and banging plumbing that rattles loudly. Had to make several calls about the banging pipes in bathroom and guest services does not answer the phone AT ALL half the time. Even the ice bucket, made of wood leaks. Lost an entire morning of our short stay with maintenance issues and having to move to another room. These things happen. But, overall except for the lobby and the public areas the place looks and operates like an inexpensive motel that's been only partially updated.

Yelp
Our spa day at Eden Roc was a rollercoaster of relaxation and interruptions. Starting on a high note, the massages themselves were fantastic--truly top-notch and soothing. Outside, the pool area buzzed with a fun atmosphere, adding a lively vibe to our visit. The front desk staff also brought a touch of kindness, greeting us warmly. However, the spa's relaxation room faced water damage, and the sounds of hallway traffic during treatments lessened the serenity we craved. Additionally, the limited snack options and a non-operational steam room were letdowns. Eden Roc usually spells luxury, but this visit was a mix of fabulous and forgettable.

Yelp
ONE STAR. While the Eden Roc is a gorgeous hotel and the on-premises staff is friendly, they like to put unidentified and fraudulent charges on your credit card and then give you the run around when you try to have them explained or removed. I recently booked a stay at this hotel for my mother (flying in from costa rica) and my aunt for mother's day. My aunt put her credit card down for the incidentals ONLY, as I had booked and planned to pay for their stay on my credit card. They ended up charging the stay to my aunt (thus ruining the gift experience). I asked if I could have chocolate covered strawberries in their room for their arrival, the front desk then transferred me to room service, when I asked them they said they'd email me a link to order them, they never did. No in-room surprise, that too was ruined. And finally, to add insult to injury, they added a $230 random charge to my aunt's credit card as she was checking out. She noticed it and asked what it was for, and they made up some story, gave her a run around and said if she wanted it removed she'd need to contact their account department via email on the next available business day, instead of just removing it then and there. THEN they added another $15 miscellaneous charge a day after she left the hotel. They did remove the $230 charge but she is STILL fighting to get her $15 back and they keep giving her a run around endlessly, This has been going on for 3 weeks! Unacceptable. This hotel should be ashamed. DO NOT BOOK HERE, especially if you're trying to gift someone you love a good experience. They are crooks.

Yelp
Superb service. Nice views. Love my room. Will stay here again. Little get away doesn't hurt anyone.

Yelp
Room was not properly cleaned . Took towels that were not replaced. Didn't refill mini bar in room. Didn't replace used ice bucket and glasses. No up to part for the prices you pay at all.
