Edenhall Estate

I stayed at East Lodge close to new year's, it was divine! So cosy - the log fires in the dining room and living room were made it feel like such a warm home. The kitchen was amazing for cooking and the beds were so comfy - I "worked from home" for two days here and I didn't want to leave.

Wow, what can we say. My family of 12 all stayed in Udford for a long weekend last week. What an amazing house and setting. Roaring fires in winter, superb bedrooms and all with views to die for. Looking out of the front window and seeing deer, woodpeckers, buzzards and hares running about was wonderful. The river and surrounding estate are teeming with wildlife and birds. The hot tub was a lovely addition and was glorious to sit out in on a frosty morning. Can't rate the house and estate more highly. Thoroughly recommended.

Myself and my wife stayed at The Lodge for a long weekend. Five stars doesn't give the place justice. Tranquility tied in with chic pretty much sums this place up. Lovely views, amazing hot tub and no body in sight. Plus the staff are lovely too!

I had a lovely stay at Kiri Cottage in December, the house was beautifully furnished, homely and comfortable. Stunning location to explore with amazing views from your window. I can highly recommend it.

A perfect Location for tranquility and peace. My wife and I were looking for something very specific for a holiday which Eden Hall estate take all them boxes from dog friendly, Hot tub and secluded. We were really really lucky the fact that it snowed and it just made everything look so perfect. I was worried it was gonna be so cold, but the heating was Perfect And despite the snow, we still had reception and Wi-Fi. Even before we arrived, we were welcome from great And quick communication from the team Which is really really helpful in any questions that I had to ask And they answered with haste. On arrival, it was a super simple ‘ Sign in process’ And we had a key without any hassle And we had a very cute welcome basket With lots of lovely little bits from a local lake shop that made it really special when we arrived. The Cottage itself is Absolutely wonderful, super cute and unique. Whoever did the decor in here is a genius and my wife loved it, it’s Incredibly beautiful The Cottage itself In the middle of a Field down a dirt track Which is perfect For some peace and quiet. You never had any noises outside of traffic, etc. it was really nice to get away from the city It had everything that you needed to live for a week, including washing machine, dishwasher Etc. etc. I was shocked to see there was a dishwasher and made my week much better so my wife didn’t make me do the Washing up It’s a really great location from the lakes, Maybe 20 to 30 minutes away from them And about an hour from Windermere and Ambleside But the drive to them is super smooth and easy and incredibly beautiful It was wonderful to cozy up next to the fire and in the hot tub! I really couldn’t recommend this place more. I can’t wait to book it again in the summer and maybe have some better weather Next time!!!!

Had a great week here just after New Year, amazing location, the property was flawless and the staff at Edenhall were brilliant.

We stayed at Edenhall for a long weekend, the team were incredibly helpful! The cottage was stunning, everything you need and furnished in a boutique style! The location is very private, beds are luxurious and the wood fired hot tub was incredible! Beyond what we expected! We visited the local pub and the locals were so friendly. The perfect bolt hole to visit the lakes from too!! We can’t fault our stay and will be returning in the spring!

We had the joy of staying at Zuri over the Christmas break this year....a joy. The house does have 2 names, Zuri is how they are marketing it so don't be concerned when you can't find it on Trip Advisor it is very real and very good. Congratulations to Jen and her team they should be proud of what they have created. High praise but well deserved and many could learn from their standards. I could go on but really want to be selfish and keep it for ourselves. Hope to be back soon. Rob Davies.
