We ordered two fish and chips to go on the patio so we could take our dogs. The fish was excellent, soft inside and crispy, thin batter on the outside. Fries were good, too. The ensemble came in a handy to-go box for the fries. We also had two fruity IPAs from the tap in proper glasses. Lovely and welcoming staff.

We loved this inn. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful with advice about Newfoundland. We were leaving early in the morning, and they made a breakfast basket up for us. The room was very nice. Best of all, the sheets were amazingly soft!

We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding with the Edge of the Avalon. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I can't recommend their properties and their team enough. We had so many compliments from our family and friends and I wouldn't change a thing about our weekend. Thank you for everything!!

It felt like we were coming home that's how friendly this place is!!! It's a homey inn, the food was fantastic and the location perfectly in the middle of the Irish Loop. The room was clean, the best toilet paper ever!!! The staff is friendly, nice and sincerely welcoming. Thank you, my daughter and I had a great time, just too short.

The food is amazing!!!! The pizza rivals the pizza in Italy. The dough is light, crispy and clearly homemade. If you’re looking for great food this is it. The staff are so nice and kind. We have had a great stay and I can’t recommend the food enough!!!!!!!!!!

Well where do I start. First, the water is brown and undrinkable, the two bed room we booked, that was confirmed in a call when we booked, became a one bed room. An upgrade was what she said when she knew we wanted two beds. The room had no fridge to keep drinking water cold. It also faced the exhaust fan from the kitchen so that was a lovely smell. The wifi was poor as well as the cable channels. Tried to take a shower and the water was luke warm at best. The final thing was the bathroom door. It was a sliding door that was angled wrong and slid open when you closed it. Instead of fixing it, they put a hook and eye on it. But they put the hook near the edge of the door so it still slid open the length of the hook. We did not stay our two nights as booked and when I let the owner know the review would not be great, she said "why what is wrong?" Unbelievable.

Great location near the whales in St-Vincent. The staff were always so kind and helpful. We came in after a very long drive just as the restaurant was closing. They stayed and made us food. Breakfast was fair but the coffee was great. Where I really appreciated the hotel, was how clean it was. Typically I am not able to sleep more than 2-3 hours in 99.5% of hotels because of my congestion. I didn’t have this issue at this hotel.

This is such a cute place, the food, service and people are so friendly and accommodating. The grounds and rooms are very nice, we were presently surprised.|The staff is over accommodating, you can’t drink the water but they have plenty of bottled water and you can shower and bath just minerals in the water. The restaurant has a beatific view. Almost forgot the food portions are huge couldn’t finish my meal so delicious. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

Yelp
This restaurant is cute and has many great options for food. The first time we came we got a poutine to go and I have to admit it wasn't very good. The poutine itself was one of the worst I've had. The paper at the bottom of my box had gotten stuck to my fries and the young server wasn't nice at all once she realized we didn't tip (because we took it to go). BUT the second time we came and sat in: Our server was so friendly and more than accommodating. We tried the Cod Tongues which I didn't like but my boyfriend loved them. We got two pastas and the portions were decent, all served with fresh ingredients.

Yelp
We were really hoping this place would be open while we were driving the Irish loop in the off season. They were still open and we enjoyed an excellent dinner with an incredible view of the bay! Decent beer and wine selection and the food was came out quickly and was very good. Our waitress was extremely accommodating and very welcoming. If you're in the area this is a must stop spot. I recommend catching the sunset at Vincent Beach right down the road after your meal!

Yelp
Great view and decent coffee. 4 stars since little else is near Trepassey/open this time of year. They weren't fully open yet when I went, but the slice of strawberry rhubarb pie I had was good (if not fully warmed up, but I could've asked for it to be warmed up again, so that's on me).

Yelp
The food was...ok. The pea soup was served with CIBATTA bread !!! in NL !!!! The service sucked. A couple of tables got up and left. The waitress didn't even bring them a menu and they got sick of waiting. The wait staff was too busy chatting it up with each other. The view was nice. It was a lovely day for a trip around the loop. Can't imagine going back again. I'll pick another restaurant next year on my visit home.
