Balanced Rock Cabin #05 was absolutely adorable — cozy, well-appointed, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location is perfect, close to Arches National Park and great for exploring the area. Everything about the cabin was charming and thoughtfully put together. It’s quiet, peaceful, and just a great spot to unwind. The only drawback is the small hot water tank, which means shorter showers, but that’s a minor issue compared to how great the stay was overall. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing desert getaway.

I had an amazing stay at edge of the desert! From the moment I arrived, everything was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The check-in process was smooth and stress-free, and the host was super responsive and welcoming. The space itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had all the little touches that made it feel like home — from fresh linens to a well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. I especially loved the patio for morning coffee, the super comfy bed, or how thoughtful the crew was. It really made the stay feel special. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area and will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!

We booked an 8 night stay. Location, the house was perfect for us. Kitchen was full equipped, house was the same as the pictures Not clean at all. At first glance, things looked okay, but within half an hour, my white socks had turned black. The dish rack was disgusting—covered in hair, slime, and dust. The bed had hairs on it. The dishes were dirty. Coffee machine was dirty. The air conditioning unit had filthy spots on it. The washing machines were full of dust and hair. The fan and blinds were also coated in dust. The bathroom ventilation clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. When we complained about the dirtiness, the cleaning lady confirmed they were having staffing issues. We ended up buying our own mop and cleaning supplies. They didn’t offer to clean the place, so we did it ourselves. We didn’t complain immediately, and because of that delay, the owners acted as if the situation was our fault. We reported the issue to Booking.com, but the owners never apologized, offered a solution, or provided any refund. Instead, they offered us a 25% discount if we returned. No resolution from the owners—very poor service. We wouldn’t stay there again. Thankfully, Booking.com gave us a small refund. The staff was very kind and tried to help.

We loved the “Edge of the Desert” community. It is clean, quiet, and very conveniently located - close enough to town but far enough out from town to escape the traffic and the people and the perfect location between the 2 National Parks. Having the laundry facility allowed us to do all our washing and drying at once so we did not have to wait for 1 load to finish before we did the next 1. We had everything in the unit as promised in their description and list of amenities.

The little house was perfect and clean. Beautifully decorated and detail oriented. Our loft tv didn't work and we informed the staff and nothing was done about it. But we figured we didn't come to just watch TV anyway. The outside grill and picnic table were great. The kitchen well equipped but missing coffee creamer. All in all, the tiny home and surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. It was so much better than any hotel room. Thank you staff for taking pride in your up keep of the business. It was a home away from home.

We stayed for eight nights and had high hopes for this place. The location is wonderful, and the tiny home concept is great—it has everything you need. However, our experience was soured from the moment we walked in. The entire unit was in desperate need of a deep clean. The floors were filthy, the fans and vents were caked with dust, the dish rack was grimy, and we even found hair in the bed. We tried to address this with the on-site staff, who admitted they were short-handed but offered no help. The most disappointing part was the response from the new owners. After we contacted Booking.com for assistance, the owners refused to do anything to fix the situation simply because we had waited a day to report it. I understand that running a business is hard, and I never want to leave a bad review. But an owner's refusal to even discuss a solution to such significant problems is unacceptable. While we appreciate the partial refund that Booking.com arranged for us, we cannot recommend this property and will not be staying here again.

Beautiful location! We parked our RV in one of the pads. Quiet. Easy access. Laundromat. Highly recommend. Would have loved to look inside one of the tiny houses. They look not so tiny.

Yelp
Clean, professional and well maintained- comfortable with plenty of amenities. Charcoal grill, outdoor seating, excellent AC, nicely equipped kitchen with plenty of space for 2 adults. Laundry facilities on site with 24/7 service. Josh was wonderful to work with and he made sure we had a perfect stay; including fresh baked cookies! I hope to be will be back soon!

Yelp
We had a GREAT time at the Edge of the Desert rental! Josh made everything really easy by sending a key code for the front door and parking is directly in front of the unit. You could realistically fit 3 cars in front if necessary. We were greeted by a nice note and even homemade cookies, which were VERY necessary after a long drive. The unit was clean and cozy, we were able to enjoy Netflix in bed, and everything from the water pressure in the shower to the AC worked like a charm. There is a laundry room on site, but we opted to do laundry in town instead since we spent the day on Main St. anyways. Location was great too! It's just a short drive (less than 5 minutes) to Main St and walking distance to the trailhead for the Mill Creek Trail, which ends at a swimming hole that you can cool off in after a day at the parks. After a quick call to check out, we were on our way back home. We'll always look fondly at our quick stay at this location.

Yelp
Great place to stay. Stayed in one of the mini homes. Perfect for the night stay. Richard was very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Great tiny house away from town. Clean and quiet. Do not let the trailers across the lot scare you off.

Yelp
If you are going to stay in Moab, do yourself a favor and stay here! The neighborhood is a bit sketch, this is true. BUT...I never felt unsafe or in danger, the neighbors are super nice and you can play fetch with their dogs and it's a nice quiet place to lay your head after a hard day of hiking. The condo (#12) is a somewhat trailer/apt hybrid. There is ample closet space, a great kitchen, a lovely charcoal grill, and satellite TV with free Netflix! Also, the incredible cookies you get upon arrival!! A short drive to Arches or Dead Horse, this is an ideal spot for relaxing and saving some $$ not having to eat out all the time. Go. Just...go.
