We just returned yesterday from our stay at the Edgewater. We have been going there almost every summer for the last 30 years and it never disappoints. This time we stayed in their 3 bedroom suite and often also choose the 2 bedroom beach front. Regardless of which room you stay in you will have an amazing time. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. The pool and beach are great. If you go here you will not be disappointed.

Another relaxing stay at the Edgewater! We have returned so many times, I’ve lost count. Consistently clean, five star service, large comfortable rooms and an amazing beachfront location. It was our anniversary and we were greeted by a sweet note, box of chocolates, and a bottle of sparkling wine in the refrigerator. Always feels good to be back on property.

We just had the pleasure of staying at Edgewater Naples hotel last week. The hotel accommodations are great! The staff is super friendly , accommodating and offer constant help. Gregory worked the bar outside by the pool and he is one of the best bartenders we ever had. Allen by the beach was also super nice, always smiling in the most hottest days ever. What a great human. The front desk is one of the nicest staff also! We had a flight cancellation and already checked out and the hotel Concerige was super helpful , looking up flights for us and made sure we were taken care of to extend our stay. All in all we really loved the hotel and the staff. I highly recommend!

What a gem, we loved our trip to the Edgewater beach hotel. No exaggeration in the title of resort, you are literally at the edge of pool and ocean waters . The rooms are very comfy and have all of the amenities. For a luxury resort this place was incredibly laid back which I really appreciated. We went for a holiday weekend and it was slow and quiet until the night before holiday. Then it was Packed but still not too packed. 10/10 stars!

Google
We have been staying here for 4 years. The room size works well for us . We did an 1 bedroom oceanfront. Having the mini kitchen is great for keeping the waters chilled and for our dinner leftovers. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator ( ice maker) a 2 burner electric stove top, microwave and a min dishwasher. The beach set up crew is very helpful and pleasant. I do wish the rooms would automatically come with a beach umbrella. It’s a daily rate of $30 for one. They do offer umbrella/chair packages , but it’s just paying it upfront , with no discount. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for a great time .

This is our fourth time at this hotel. Coincidentally, we always come for my wife's birthday. The facilities are always impeccable, and the staff is spectacular. I confess that we once changed to try another hotel and came back convinced that this is our place to stay every year, as a couple and as a family. Thanks for the extra gift, it means a lot to us. We will always come back. Our room, 410, had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Beautiful. Thanks again to the entire staff.

Google
My partner and I enjoyed every moment of our stay! The suite was impeccable, the service was superb (we felt pampered), and the location is absolutely stunning. It’s imperative, however, that I mention our favorite amenity: the resort has a heavenly private beach!! If you’re anything like us, you enjoy the beach but are wary of crowds and live music. Living in Miami will do that to you! The Edgewater gives you a slice of Naples free from all of that! We left feeling recharged and rejuvenated.

Outstanding Beach Service and Hospitality. ||Our stay was made even more enjoyable thanks to the incredible beach service from Jacob and beach attendant Cj. They were attentive, friendloy, and always made sure we had everything we needed. A Special shout out to Maddy the F&B manager who checked in with us regularly and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. Their dedication to great service truly stood out and made our trip so memorable. Will definitely return.

Yelp
The Edgewater beach hotel is one of my favorite in Naples. The staff is really friendly (shout out to Mark, Cory and Greg at the pool bar) and the food is wonderful! I love the Poke Bowl and the drinks are amazing. The pool is beautiful and looks out onto the Gulf of Mexico . You can easily transition from the pool to the beach and back again!

Yelp
We had a great 5-night stay at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. This was our first time as a family in Naples and I think we'll definitely be back to this property. We got a three-bedroom suite for my husband, our 2.5 and 4.5 year olds, and myself. It was more than enough space with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The staff have all been super friendly and service is great. For family-friendliness, it doesn't get better. There are complimentary washers and dryers for guest use on property (just have to stop by the front desk to get detergent). The suites have full kitchens with cups, plates, silverware, and dishwashers. There is pool/beach service for chicken fingers and Shirley Temples galore. The pools are kept super warm, probably over 90 degrees, so kids (and parents) never get too cold or tired of swimming. The room keys are wristbands so when you're carrying 65 things plus a child under your arm, it's always right there - no digging through your bag to find it. Also, a cookie bar in the lobby every day from 2-4pm! There were lots of families here as we visited over what is February break in the Northeast. I heard from another family staying here that the hotel partners with a local babysitting service also. This family was able to get the same woman to babysit for a few hours every day they were staying here. We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
BED BUG INFESTATION I don't even know where to start with this place. First off the manager in training, David, was extremely rude and unhelpful. He denied my family from staying the first night saying they're "sold out" but they had multiple rooms available. We came back the night after and while the other employee was selecting our room David comes over and whispers to him "put them in here" not sure what that meant. Now to the worst part, we were setting up the pullout sofa when we saw something weird on the mattress. So I called from desk and asked for someone to come or at least bring a roll away bed. But they couldn't care less. So I wrapped sheets over the couch itself. When my family and I got up we were covered in bed bug bites (confirmed my an urgent care). We went to the manager and asked to check out early, once we checked out I saw they billed me for the whole stay. Do yourself a favor and stay at the double tree a couple blocks away.

Yelp
Stayed here twice -- can not recommend it enough. The staff is so accommodating and really made our stay special, especially this most recent trip. Love the front desk texting feature -- they are always expedient in response and polite and informative. We were upgraded for free and surprised with a complimentary birthday cake for my son. It was such a welcoming and fun surprise! I love how family friendly the hotel is, lots of Littles playing and swimming. The service here is top tier. Our family will be back, no doubt. Thanks for another beautiful stay, Edgewater!

Yelp
In Edgewater's Coast restaurant, Igor went above and beyond to help with our special requests yesterday at breakfast and was kind, considerate, and very friendly. Made our day and a lasting good impression! Thank you Igor.

Yelp
This was my first time staying at this property and here is a review of my experience: The good: I was able to get checked in early. It was my first time traveling with my 8 month old baby and early check in was an immense help. When we arrived we were told they would try to get us a room within 2 hours and after about 30 minutes they called to tell us the room was ready for us. I was offered complimentary water or champagne upon check in which gave the experience a nice touch. The front desk agent (I think her name was Rosalie?) was very helpful and explained everything in detail and provided us with a map of the property. The room was clean and way more spacious than we imagined. We dropped off our things and got ready for the beach. The 2 complimentary chairs are great and $25 for an umbrella is very reasonable. The beach attendants were very helpful as well. We went up to the room just in time to catch the free cookies from 2-4pm in the lobby which were very good. I must say that I LOVE the texting feature this hotel has. Upon arrival you get a welcome text and you can reply with any questions or needs and someone replies within a reasonable time frame. Complimentary self parking is also a plus. They were able to accommodate us with a late check out which helped us a lot given that the baby is usually sleeping around check out time. The not so good: The wifi was not working for some time. I think they misspelled the last name and I had to call the front desk and they were able to get it fixed. The small shower head was not working in the room. The TV in the living room never worked. I called to report it and was told engineering would stop by to take a look. We left the room and came back and it never got fixed. The issue was that the TV seemed to have no signal. We went down to the pool/beach area the following morning around 8am and there were no towels. Luckily by the time we were going back up around 9am the beach attendants had put out their towels so we were able to grab 2 from them but the ones in the pool were still not stocked. We decided to order in room dining breakfast once in the room. The person who took my order seemed like he was in a rush and made me feel pressured to order fast. He wasn't very helpful and had poor phone etiquette. We got 1 bagel, 1 cereal (was told it would be fruit loops but it was an off brand cereal - I think they need to choose better words when describing the cereal. It's like when they call Coca-Cola, Pepsi. It's not the same thing). 1 eggs Benedict, 2 coffees and a cup of Milk. Total bill was $65 including tip. No sugars were provided with the coffee. No napkins or utensils were provided either. I asked for grape Jelly and the breakfast did not come with it. The cereal was one of the ones they give kids at school and was stale. Breakfast was way too overpriced. In room dining needs improvement. Only 1 elevator was working and we stayed on the 3rd floor. During busy times (10am or 5-6pm) we had to wait for at least 15-20 minutes to be able to get in with the baby and the stroller. The elevator would either be too busy going up or coming down. Overall: We typically like to stay in cheaper hotels with free breakfast. I've had better breakfast in those places than in this property. I feel like my stay in Edgewater was just average and other than the location, nothing else stood out.

Yelp
Not worth the price. Elevators smell & are small. Room was to have a gulf view but you had to look to the left . I had a view of the other side of the hotel. Will not be returning and was very disappointed tv had 2 channels & wifi was spotty

Yelp
They have recently changed their rules. You can only use restaurants pools, bar and beach if you are staying there. If you are a guest you are only allowed to use indoor bare and restaurants. While staying there they nickel and dime you for everything you ask for. If you want a chair on the beach it's 15 if you want an umbrella it's an added charge and so on. The staff is very kind. The front desk manager Veronica could use some training on how to treat guests. She sees things her way and takes a lot of conversations for her to listen to what the guest wants for her to finally break down a bit

Yelp
Super nice hotel right on the water. All the room are suites from one bedroom on up. Nespresso machines and Fiji water, cookies and cocktails but man do you pay a pretty penny You can't beat the location though. Those sunsets are worth a lot but I'm not sure if I can

Alejandra M.

Yelp
We came today to this hotel we booked suites 700 sqft w/ dining area and asked if they have both same layout Adrian at the front desk said that were EXACTLY the same but different floor. This was not truth one looks smaller and with no dinning area. And we booked King w/ view and " the view" is to the buildings across the street. My husband went again downstairs and they repeat the same thing . I checked Expedia and there are many King suite with Gulf view for 20 dollars difference when I asked to switch they said that I have to pay $100 per night. The beach manager is extremely rude. ALL the rooms pictures are with dining area . But this is NOT accurate . I will not come back next time I 'll go again to Grande Resort . Best service, best view.

Yelp
This review is a little late, but with the Covid-19 virus keeping us in there's time to catch up on some overdue reviews. So with some business in Florida, which by the way I love, I was in West Palm Beach, then on Marco Island. After I finished in WPB, Mrs. E flew down and we went over to Marco Island. With a few days to relax we thought we'd get a beachfront hotel for a couple of days. With none to be had on Marco Island, we opted for nearby Naples. Mrs.E made the reservations and was assured we would have a beach front room. Well turns out we got a room with a view of the ocean. Felt like a little bait and switch, but they were very apologetic and tried to accommodate us but no ocean front rooms available. Ok only a couple of days so let's move on. Our suite was a top floor overlooking the pools and a sort of view of the ocean. The suite was great. Full kitchen, living room and bedroom with an en-suite. Perfect. Only problem as the weather. Rainy all weekend. When it wasn't raining I was involved with business. We had breakfast at the hotel on Saturday which was great. Food is mostly healthy food which is fine with me. I'm trying to eat more healthy anyway. Since it was a three room suite the rain wasn't as bad as you would think. We had a balcony which was perfect with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We really loved Naples and the Edgewater Hotel. I would definitely stay there again but would make sure or guarantee the room type, and of course check the weather. I know you Floridians are laughing "check the weather". Ha ha

Yelp
coast, tucked right inside of @edgewaterbeachhotel in naples, was an absolute delight!!! we went with a big group for a post-engagement dinner and it was the perfect spot! there were lots of seafood orders across the table but I must say the shrimp & lobster ravioli stole the show. not only ate it, but also drank the remaining sauce like a soup huge fan and we're all now aspiring guests of the adorable beach hotel

Yelp
We stayed for the 4th of July weekend 4 days. Check in staff manager very rude . The Ac on the hallways and specially the rooms do not cool down, we had to call service for it every day of our stayed. The beds and pillows very uncomfortable for a pricey hotel. The restaurant staff was for breakfast could not get orders brought to the table right besides my daughter finding a hair on her scramble eggs. The bathroom tile very old and scratch run down furniture and only one elevator working for a hotel that has a 7 floors, you can imagine that night mares . The only good thing they have for them is the beach, free chair but $26.00 for the umbrella. Very disappointed at a place which I though it would be a great experience. The Opal brand should look into this hotel and maybe removed their name from this specific hotel.

Yelp
I was really disappointed in our stay here. I was expecting a 4 star experience based on the website and the price, and it was definitely NOT WORTH IT. The rooms were nice, but our phone was broken and the elevator was out of a service for a good portion of our stay here. Also, there was trash on the beach in the morning when we went out to enjoy our coffee....at prices like these, I would expect everything to be pristine. We booked a gulf view room and were given a pool view room where you could see the tiniest little sliver of the ocean if you really tried. I will attach a photo. It did not match the photos on the website and we felt very misled, especially since we paid more to have an ocean view. When we told check in, we were given an even worse room. One of the reasons we booked this hotel is that it advertised it was a smoke free hotel, yet people were smoking on the beach and on the balconies. We didn't even get to enjoy our balcony as people were smoking all around us. Also, the clientele was so awful, which of course is not the hotels fault, but it IS the hotels responsibility to make sure that their guests are happy and comfortable. We had people screaming across the pool from their rooms at each other at 11:00 at night, blasting music on the private beach, shouting and yelling and playing music so loud so late at night it felt like we were in a nightclub. It was not relaxing or romantic at all, which is what we had been looking forward to. And lastly, the prices for food and drinks are insane! $13 for a Budlight at the pool bar. We would have enjoyed drinks on the beach throughout the day but after $30 for two drinks, we decided to leave the facility and give somewhere else our business. Also, the food is extremely overpriced and very average.

Yelp
Good vibes and a beautiful sunset! That's was you'll get at the Edgewater! We love going there often for drinks and to watch the sunset. It's a pleasure to be greeted by Jeremy at the door bringing those good vibes right away. They are lucky to have someone like him. We'll be back soon for sure!

Yelp
I can't say enough about the exceptional staff and first -class amenities at Edgewater Beach Hotel. From the moment we arrived my expectations were exceeded. Check-in was swift and the 2 bedroom suites on the penthouse floor are incredible. Our suite wasn't facing the gulf (bummer) but it was super clean and really spacious. I love that we could travel with our ESA pet. The kitchenette was very convenient and well-equipped. The on property fitness center was excellent! Even a small yoga room next to the workout room. Pool area is glorious! Lots of areas to chill and of course the beach is minutes from your door! We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Hotel is nice and service is nice as well. Unfortunately, the noise is horrible. They do say on their site online they have renovations going on but didn't imagine on a weekend they would have drilling noise from 8am until 7pm. We came to relax for a "kid's free" staycation (one night) and it was impossible to be in the room and relax, the noise was so loud we had to increase the volume on the tv to try to zone out the noise but it was inevitable. I do not recommend this hotel right now. Maybe get your money's worth at another with such high price.

Andre C.

Yelp
Just left after a week celebrating 35 year anniversary. 5 star all the way!! We enjoyed the ocean front suite on the beach just steps away from the room. Very clean and very friendly staff not to mention I fully appreciated the diversity in the staffing too. The pools were serene and inviting. Pool and beachside service done well. Daily breakfast came with a nice credit and it was worth it. Unfortunately we never had dinner there but the cookie snacks each day were a treat. My only small complaint would be the small shower/toilet area. Barely had elbow room. I will definitely return!! Pricey but worth it.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
So many choices for hotels, we wouldn't stay here again. Some front desk staff were very rude including management. Saw two roaches in our room....gross!!!The property is in disrepair. Chipped tiles. Broken doors. Paint needed. Rusted metal. The view was and access to beach were great. Some of the beach employees we're amazingly friendly. Unfortunately the management of this property needs additional training on hospitality and friendliness.
google avatar

Kalyna R.

Yelp
Beautiful place and fabulous service. The room right off of the pool was so convenient to run in and out during the day. There was also a shuttle to 5th ave!

Ms G.

Yelp
Stayed, July, 2022 for 3 nights and 4 days. Nice place, nostalgic with fresh cookies every day. The staff was very nice and friendly. However, the kiddie pool was closed, and with daily 95-degree weather, the kids took over the adult pool. It's a short walk to the beach, with beautiful full view sunsets. Our suite faced east, and was next to the elevator, which was ok. Not noisy at all. However, remember to let the front desk know that you are parked in the lot. Our car was booted by the hotel because we didn't have our parking pass visible in the window. The hotel should have record of all hotel guest cars parked in the lot. They don't. Overall, the Edgewater Beach Hotel is a nice place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Yelp
VERY overpriced for what you get. The website makes it out to be an oasis, but it does not show you the "frat house" scenes we had to deal with. Our "gulf view" room looked out over a roof and there was no ocean to be seen. I was moved to a room where if I bent over the balcony I could just about make out the ocean through the trees. Not even close to the pictures on the website when I booked it. Smoke Free, That's a Joke! People were freely smoking on the beach; management saw it but did nothing. We could not enjoy our balcony because of loud music and smoke from surrounding balconies. Nothing was done to stop it. Eventually at 10.45pm this was addressed A pint of Bud Light was $13!! And $27 if you open the beach umbrella... Fine I thought, I guess it prevents people from getting drunk, but management allowed people to have coolers full of alcohol on the beach and again, did nothing. The management did at least try to address the loud music on the beach, but every time management left, the music will be back on! I understand the hotel cannot be held responsible for the behavior of guests, but they can AND MUST be held responsible for not enforcing the rules. The "private" beach was littered with cans and cups at 9am in the morning and the staff seemed more concerned about the number of towels you can have than the quality of your stay, (On Saturday I saw people with 5 towels each!) I would not recommend this hotel. Nothing apart from the price is 5 Star
google avatar

Jaime R.

Yelp
Old hotel and room. Few parking spots. Expensive at 600 dollars a night. Beach is nice. Up to it a three star review, the one star comes next. The one star comes next. I had an issue where I was booked twice under two different names and they charged my credit card twice. I was told initially that the mistake was corrected when I checked in and then I notice the charge twice on my card statement on check out. They refused to refund the money and I have to settle with an unplanned future date after a long unnecessary arguing with the front desk person. I asked for a manager and the front lady said they are all managers there. Extremely disappointed after feeling robed.

Yelp
Amazing hotel room is steps from the beach if you ask beachfront you will get beachfront. Views from room is amazing. Definitely going back.

Yelp
I had planned a trip for my husband and family last year but due to a work commitment I did not attend so this year when my husband and I decided to do a short getaway, he insisted we came to Edgewater Beach Resort and since he had been taking about this resort so much I thought I'd give it a try. He was right. The hotel is right on the beach, what's there not to like about that? But that's just the start. We have an amazing 2 bedroom suite on the 4th floor, it is beautifully appointed, spacious and it faces the ocean. Absolutely beautiful. The staff has been amazing so far. Bob, the valet was so friendly and welcoming. Dominique at the front desk was equally pleasant and but the best compliment goes Cameron who set up our chairs and umbrella at the beach. That is not an easy job, it is so hot in the bright sun but he had a smile the entire time. This is our first day here and I hope our experience continues to be this good. Oh and by the way; the hotel is doggie friendly.

Yelp
My fiancé and I stayed here May 8th-13th and had a wonderful time. We booked a beachfront king suite and it was worth the price. There's two heated pools, a restaurant on site, a pool bar that also serves food, and our favorite; the beach staff and beach accommodations. Cameron, CJ, Marco, Kerine were all amazing. We had a wonderful time chatting with them during our stay. They all went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed daily. The property is peaceful. The stretch of beach remains private and for guests and club members only. You can look down the coast towards the pier and see 100s of people, and it's a treat to have a huge slice to yourself with other guests. We will be returning again to this hotel. Thank you for an awesome week!

Marie S.

Yelp
Loved this place. The pool the restaurant the beach and the rooms. This was recommended by a friend and exceeded our expectations!

Yelp
My husband and I just spent a few days at the Hotel for our anniversary. In our current world with COVID, I'll start by saying I felt totally safe. We stayed in a gulfview suite which gave us a spacious bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, living room and balcony where we could watch the sunset. Included with a suite are beach chairs or lounges. They bring you a flag, so that if you want something to drink or eat, you simply raise the flag and someone appears to take your order. We had noted it was our anniversary when we made our reservation. At 6:30 there was a knock on the door and someone had delivered a bottle of champagne, a beautiful note and 2 glasses. Such a nice touch, and completely unexpected. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back again!

Yelp
I had a terrific time at the Edgewater Beach Hotel, we stayed in a room on the top floor with a fantastic oceanfront balcony. The balcony chairs had webbing on them and we're on a great angle to sit on for hours and just look out over the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel was five stars for the view and the pool and the wonderful beach. I couldn't of had a better time the staff was fantastic, the amenities were really great. Everybody treated you like you should be there and they wanted you to be there and there was amazing hospitality. There werehomemade cookies at 2 o'clock till 4 o'clock and milk and a beautiful decanter when we got there and checked in with delicious homemade lemonade and A champagne toast and Florida juicy oranges in the beautiful basket. The front desk staff, the maids, the valets, the concierge, the folks at the pool, just everybody was so amazing to us I couldn't believe what a great time we had. I will happily come back to this hotel soon We even had fried grouper and went on the princess of napless tour of Naples bay. The beds were amazing to sleep on and comfortable pillows and beautiful linens that were deluxe. The towels were full and the shampoos and soaps and were very superior. This is one of the original properties down in Naples, so it's not one of the newer hotels. After I figured that out , i was really thrilled with everything. Alan, from the cabana company on the beach is just amazing and very hospitable. his company handles the Zota hotel that we went to in longboat key and the Edgewater Beach Hotel. Alan took care of us at both properties. His team moves the umbrellas around so you don't get sunburned. They even have the best suntan lotions that will help protect you They can tell you about the ocean and about all the great activities that you can do on the Gulf of Mexico. Allen's cabana company is the best that I have ever met, very five star

Yelp
We could not have planned a better vacation before school started. The check in was simple and the rooms immaculate. Everyone was professional and courteous - from Gina and Mark at the outside bar - they memorized drink orders and were friendly to all to CJ and Allen on the beach. We will stay here again and again- awesome get away for family and with friends

Yelp
Very beautiful hotel and perfect view! The service was outstanding, they knew it was our Anniversary and gave us waterfront view like we wanted. Surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a letter congratulating us. Everyone was friendly and the suite was very clean. Recommend.

Yelp
Solid four to five stars on yelp. 2.5 miles from 5th street shops, but PH two bedroom suite was just what the doctor ordered. Whether it be cocktails on the beach, the guys at the beach providing towels and umbrella ($10 but no fighting for a spot) or eating on the restaurant patio this is a great place to stay for a tourist or a local starvation. I only review positive experiences or really negative and this one is a rightfully positive experience.

Yelp
We had dinner with a large group and across the group we felt the service was courteous but sub standard. Staff was not familiar with wines or available liquor choices. The food was cold and far below or expectations or the pricing. My wife and I had 3 drinks and three appetizers and the bill exceeded $ 82 . No problem if it was served hot and if it was tasty. The mussels were over cooked yet cold. The crab cake was burned yet cold! Both kitchen and server issues. Additionally minimal sause for the one $17 crab cake. The best part if.our meal was the bread and olive oil. Two meals were refused by our guests and we were embarrassed to have chosen this restaurant for a post golf dinner. We are not high end foodies but enjoy good food in Naples and feel obliged to warn others. Opal or not it is not a good dining choice and others are realizing this as this is high season and multiple tables were left empty.

Yelp
Exceptional Service & Property!!! This was our fifth time staying at this property.....for a reason!!! We have never been disappointed here and this visit was no exception. I had a small, self-imposed issue regarding our reservation and from the very first call I made to the front desk while driving over was handled with the upmost professionalism and courtesy. When we finally arrived, we were greeted by the same cheerful & helpful front desk personal that I had spoken with on the phone named Rihanna. Between her and Dominique my issue (again, all my fault) was already resolved way above my expectations. They both made our visit a memory we will cherish for years to come. The property itself is by far the best in Naples if you desire a true ocean-front property that is beyond clean with amazing amenities and hospitality. You truly get the feeling that the staff genuinely appreciates the guests choosing the Edgewater to stay at. One last shout out to the housekeeping staff. Upon departing, I had left my wallet in the safe. They made certain to contact me and arrange its return with ALL the contacts still in it. In conclusion, I highly, highly recommend Edgewater Beach Hotel for your next visit to Naples. You will not leave disappointed!!!

Yelp
I had a horrible experience at this so called luxury hotel. Stayed 5 nights and had to beg to get the room cleaned by 5pm and 2 of the nights of the 5 , simply NEVERRRR got housekeeping services!! Dirty place, no 1 ever came to pick yup room service trays in the halls, when the maids came in they wore NO GLOVES and NO MASKs in a PANDEMIC! It did not make me feel that hotel was clean w/ silverware and no dishwasher in the room, when we had to beg just to get fresh towels daily !! Obviously they r overbooked and understaffed at present time, we will NEVERRRRR come back here , everrrrrr

Yelp
We stay here every year and love the location, service and staff. Everyone is friendly and it's like coming home. They take very good care of repeat guests. We clelbrated my husband's birthday and arrived to find wine, a lovely cheese and charcuterie tray and chocolate cake in our room's refrigerator. The rooms are nicely appointed and have amazing views of the gulf. Staffing is friendly and helpful. We usually stay in a 2 bedroom suite but have also arayed in the single room suite. Never a bad experience.

Yelp
When the temps are sub-zero in Michigan, you've got to get away from the cold for a long weekend in south Florida...Naples to be specific. The Edgewater is one of the few hotels right on the beach in this toney community. The hotel's in-house restaurant is situated off the lobby and extends outside to a patio overlooking two pools and the white sands of the beach beyond. While the prices on the lunch menu are steep, the offerings are classic Florida with a blackened grouper sandwich, a Trio of fresh and healthy fish tacos and a primo lobster roll complete with a toasted New England bun. At 20 bucks a pop, we tried all three entrees along with a bowl of roasted tomato bisque and a delicious "Edge" (for Edgewater) salad of chopped romaine with kale, roasted corn, cranberries, blue cheese, candied pecans and a house vinaigrette. Each of our meals were excellent with the "Edge" salad and the fish tacos drawing 5-star raves. Our server, a gregarious soul originally from Jamaica, provided excellent lunch recommendations as well as attentive service. Outstanding lunch in a beautiful setting.

Yelp
We just returned from a weeks vacation at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. The location is awesome, the beach is beautiful and the two pools are great. I was worried that it wouldn't be family oriented as the website looked like it could be more aimed at couples but I was happy to see many families there and they are very laid back with kids. We booked a gulf view, two-bedroom suite which was a great size for three adults and a child. Our balcony overlooked the gulf and we even got to see dolphins playing in the ocean which was a huge bonus! On the down side, I pre-paid for our room to get a better rate, however it was still expensive but we haven't been on vacation for a long time so decided to splurge on this one! At a very expensive nightly rate I would expect that the use of basic sun loungers and umbrellas would be available for free. Also the additional resort fee of $25 / night (for cleaning and wifi) seems unreasonable as these should be standard items when staying in any hotel. Nothing is included, every activity or amenity is extra. Also, a minor note, we were traveling with my mother in law who only speaks Spanish. I was surprised to see that their cable television didn't have any Latin American / Spanish channels available, only English. Most of the guests were from overseas so I'm surprised they haven't got a wider choice of channels. On the plus side, the staff were extremely friendly and very hard working. If cost isn't an issue then I would recommend this hotel for the view, beach access and location. If you have a strict budget in mind then it might be better to shop around to find something that provides basic amenities for free. I've seen others in the area that were already booked but include bicycle rental, paddle boards and sun loungers at no additional cost. Next time I'll book earlier into one of those.

Yelp
We stayed at Edgewater for a family reunion. Unfortunately, we had heavy rain for 3 of our 4 days there. But we tried to make the most of the vacation, and Edgewater was a great host for us. ROOMS: We booked a 2 bedroom Naples View room. The room was huge and had everything we needed- full kitchen (though no stovetop), 2 full bathrooms (one with tub, and one with huge shower), 2 king beds, and 3 televisions with DirecTV. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had a K-Cup brewer with free K-cups and Fiji water, which was a nice touch. GROUNDS: This is not a huge resort. It is more of a boutique hotel. It feels cozy, which makes it easy to get around. The offer paid valet parking, but self-parking is very easy as the lot is on the side of the hotel. The lobby is small and I wish there was more seating to hang out in. The hotel also offers free milk and cookies every afternoon. There was free wi-fi but the connection was very weak in our room. POOL/BEACH: There are 2 pools, one of which is slightly deeper. The beach here is very nice, and the ocean is mostly rock-free and has some fun waves to play in. From the beach there is a beautiful sunset view, which we missed out on most nights due to the weather. AREA: This is mostly a residential neighborhood, so there isn't really anything within walking distance. However if you have a car, the location is ideal as there are tons of restaurants and shopping within a 3 mile radius. I also liked the free hotel shuttle to 5th Avenue. Despite the lousy weather, we were happy with our vacation at Edgewater.

Yelp
I was a bit concerned when we checked on because the building is old. However, when we got to our room, it was totally renovated and nice. It had a living room and a kitchen - no stove, just a microwave. Having a kitchen was great because you could store drinks and leftovers. The bed was very comfortable and for the first time in ages I actually fell asleep in a hotel! (I have a hard time sleeping away from home). The living room furniture was cabana furniture (not living room furniture) & not very comfortable. The seats were plastic or something very similar to plastic. Good for wet bathing suits. :) There is a $25 resort fee which includes wifi, parking and the self-service laundry room on the ground floor, which has two washing machines and two dryers for free. Bring your own laundry detergent, etc. The hotel is right on the beach, which is great. You can rent an umbrella on the beach for $25 & a nice beach bed for $75. I think the lounge chairs are free. Would definitely recommend for families with kids. It's much nicer than a budget hotel. It's a good value for your money but it's not luxurious if that's what you are looking for.

Yelp
From day one the management at the hotel was non existent . Waitresses yelling at clients drunks at the bar friends of the bar tenders . Housekeeping just doesn't show up and no ones is accountable. When you call the front desk they hang up on you . I have stayed at opal sands and loved it. Do not stay here horrible service embarrassing lack of management. And that's just a few of the disappointing moments. Best part of the trip the three gentlemen at the pool bar and restaurant they went out of their way to provide service and make you feel welcome. But the rest of the services were way below expectations for the money.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed a lovely vacation at this property this summer. We arrived late afternoon, and I was a bit disappointed that our room was not ready for us. The manager greeted us, and invited us to enjoy a beverage at the pool while they finished preparing our room. This gave us the perfect opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the layout while enjoying our first poolside cocktail on the house. The location could not be better - located right on the beach with ample space for beach chairs for everyone without feeling the least big crowded. The beach concierge was excellent as they took good care of us each day. The pools are right on the beach - literally, step off the pool deck into the sand and there you are. Offering ample space, adirondack chairs for sunset viewings, and a full bar with friendly servers, one would have to be made of wood not feel immediately relaxed lounging here. All rooms are suites and face the gulf. Being an upper-tier Hilton Honors member, we were upgraded to a huge two-bedroom suite on the Penthouse level. Our balcony stretched the length of the suite and offered complete privacy and an unobstructed view of the Gulf with its amazing sunsets. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant twice, and on both occasions the food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. On other evenings we ate at local establishments or ordered pizza for delivery. I have stayed on business at the Ritz Beach Resort in Naples, so it is logical to compare the two properties. The Edgewater does not have the "wow" first impression of the Ritz. From the street, the Edgewater doesn't look all that spectacular, but upon walking through the doors and seeing the contemporary decor in the lobby, bar & restaurant; being able to look through those at the pools with the Gulf beyond, and experiencing the friendly service of the bellman and check-in employees, any concerns one might have based on street impression should be quickly put to rest. Based on availability when we booked our stay, the Edgewater was much more affordable for a vacationing family, PLUS we knew we'd have a suite, which is exactly what we were looking for. All-in-all we had an excellent time. This is a high-end family friendly resort offering all the amenities one would expect without being stuffy or too over-the-top. As we enjoyed our final sunset of the week I received my orders from my family: Award five stars on Yelp and we'd better return! I am, and we shall!

Yelp
Not certain of the previous reviews stating disappointment with their stay? As this was not the case for our family and would recommend for those that appreciate the history of olde Naples. Art Deco exterior with 21st century amenities. This is not a "Best Western" so for those that mentioned fees, it is expected. If you appreciate the intimacy of a boutique style experience then this is the property for you. This is not the "Ritz" either, as it avoids the pretentious feel of those types of properties. The food service and quality beat many of the 5 star rated restaurants, in the area, rated on Yelp. The staff are consistent in delivery of your satisfaction. Beach is clean, umbrellas, toweled lounges, kayaking, paddle boarding, are available and supported by a welcoming staff to accommodate your needs. Rooms are suite style and perfect for week long stays, especially those with children. Our family enjoyed the sweeping views of the Gulf, the well appointed rooms, and the friendly staff throughout from the valet, front desk, restaurant, tiki bar, and beach. There are limited properties on the beach in Naples, FL and the price/value for this property is more than reasonable as long as you realize and set expectations. The Waldorf moniker has since changed hands so do your research, however, the property, experience, and views are lovely and worthy of your consideration when looking for a hotel on your next trip to Naples, FL.

Yelp
No complaints. Kid friendly environment, maybe a little to much for me. Beach was nice and clean. Great walking. Love the sandbars that were about 20 feet offshore. Many dolphin sitings during our stay. Staff was very nice and always in a good mood. Cookies in the lobby every afternoon!! Yum!! We did have lunch at the hotel restaurant one day and it was good. Many many restaurants near by;and not only on 5th Avenue. If you love to lounge and sun all day, shower and go to dinner then this area is for you.

Yelp
This place is not worth the ridiculous price you pay. The rooms were nothing spectacular. All the activities are extra. You would think they would at least give you an umbrella with ur beach chairs, right? No.

Yelp
Very nice hotel but avoid the Coast Restaurant. Way over-priced for the crap food they serve. You get charged an additional $30 on top of your room rate for resort amenities but beware, nothing on the beach comes for free. You have to rent the umbrellas and chairs if you want to sit on the beach. If you want a good breakfast, try First Watch down the street.

Yelp
First- they gave us a substandard room. It was not as described when we reserved online. They rectified that, but hours later. The food is seriously horrendous and overpriced. Soggy salads and club sandwich with cheap packaged turkey from Oscar Mayer. Do not eat there!!

Yelp
Had an amazing weekend with my wife at this hotel. The view was amazing and the room was beautiful and spacious. The hotel manager Daniel was extremely kind and made our stay amazing we can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Highly, highly recommend Edgewater! It was our first trip to Naples & this place did not disappoint! The staff, the accommodations, the atmosphere...the beach, the pool!!! I could go on & on. Way above expectations & we will for sure be returning.
