Edison's Inn

a nice stay with an accommodating staff. we appreciated the flexibility with an early check-in and parking space. location was also perfect to everything closeby. the only thing that didn’t make it a 5-star stay was the cleanliness of the place. the floor was not vacuumed. for the price we paid, we also didn’t appreciate the small corner cutting like watering down the soap, and broken fridge doors etc. just some small suggestions for future guests but we appreciate the hospitality.

Terrific location. Easy walk to everything downtown and the park right behind. Decor has a cool retro vibe. Parking spot close by. Everything you need. Great communication. Can hear some traffic from Main Street (Edison Room) as you would expect.

Very convenient for the main street, parks and restaurants. Included parking is 5 minute walk. Just a 30 minute stroll from the festival theatre. Nicely appointed boutique style room. Suited us for our overnight theatre visit.

Our stay here was wonderful! The room was beautiful and spotless and the people were great! The only thing I can say that I would have enjoyed is a "fireplace", more for ambiance than anything. Maybe it's just because we were there for a romantic getaway.... Lol Thank you Bruce and especially Christy for all your help and for making our stay so enjoyable.

I recently stayed in the Swan room at Edison Inn, formerly known as the Cafe room, and it was a delightful experience as always. The room is spacious, offering a serene and expansive feel. Its standout feature is the breathtaking river view, where you can gaze out and spot elegant swans gliding by. This picturesque scenery adds an extra layer of tranquility to the stay.|Edison Inn masterfully combines nostalgic decor with modern amenities, creating a unique and comfortable atmosphere. The blend of vintage charm and contemporary features makes every stay memorable.||Location is simply the best! And free parking is just steps away.

We've stayed in the new River Apartment - 2 Bedroom with large living room, dining table, kitchen and full bath overlooking the river. We've enjoyed the privacy of the rooms and the large living and dining space with full kitchen to spend time together with friends. The full both adds the luxury to the stay. Zen beautiful design of the apartment and every room has reminded us the flow of life, with river seen outside of the windows, beautiful historic courthouse and just steps away from Stratford Festival theatres, restaurants and wonderful shops this place has everything one may need to experience a joy of life. All units in this hotel are always super clean, well organized and thought through.

I stayed at the Perth County Inn/Edison Inn in early July with my two sisters. We take a yearly sisters road trip and this by far was the best value for our money. The suite was very clean and organized; it gave us lots of space to relax, play games, lounge, etc. It was also in a very convenient location to all the local events happening around town. Everything that you would expect was provided for us. Bruce, the owner was extremely helpful and fast at responding to anything we needed. Will be recommending this place to others!

What a delightful inn! It only has a few rooms and it is really lovely with a lot of privacy. Located in downtown Stratford, it's a fantastic location and in walking distance of all the theaters and great restaurants. You will get an assigned parking spot by staying here too, and that is such a nice amenity. Parking is just a short walk away. I stayed three nights in the Swan Suite and it was beautiful. I had windows overlooking the Avon River and two couches to relax by the window. Comfy king size bed, refrigerator, coffee machine, walk in shower, TV, modern bathroom, books to read and more. So many nice details. It is like a spacious studio apartment with everything you could need. The room also has AC too so that's a great bonus. There is no elevator so you'll have you carry you things up and down the stairs. It was just one quick flight for me and I didn't find it to be an issue but just thought I would mention it. You'll receive a code to enter your room and main door. Electronic check in. No front desk but easy to keep in touch with the owners/managers by text. I really enjoyed my stay here.
