Edom Hotel

My wife and I we stayed in this hotel. The location is perfect, literally two minutes from the gates of Petra. The hotel itself looks beautiful, and the service offered is awesome. The front desk and manager were very helpful. Also, I can't forget to mention Happy our server during dinners, and mihammad hasnat. They are great professionals who makes sure that all the guests are comfortable and have their needs taken care of. I recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Edom Hotel. The location was excellent—very easy to find and just a 4-minute walk to the Petra Visitor Centre, which made our visit extremely convenient. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and brought it up to our rooms. The front desk receptionist was especially kind and thoughtful. He explained the opening times of Petra, gave us useful advice on arranging a guide, and even offered to extend our room until 2 pm so we could shower after our hike. Since we knew we would be spending longer inside Petra, we politely declined, but we truly appreciated the gesture and hospitality. The hotel itself was spotless. Our room was beautifully set up, clean, and well prepared for us—we had no complaints at all. At this price point, Edom Hotel offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Petra.

The location is fantastic, just a 4 minute walk to the Petra entrance, and the hotel has a dedicated parking spot. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel overall could use some general renovations, but the rooms themselves and public toilets were in great condition. Breakfast was a bit limited (for example no scrambled eggs, only boiled), but their fig jam and tea were absolutely to die for. The staff were very friendly, and the manager stood out as especially positive, helpful, and attentive. Overall, an amazing stay and excellent value for money.

Our stay at the Edom Hotel Petra was unfortunately below expectations. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the entrance to Petra – and that’s really the only redeeming quality of this hotel. The service was lacklustre, and the food was disappointing, with very limited options for vegetarians. The rooms felt small and stuffy, and the beds were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a place that’s right next to Petra and don’t plan to spend much time in your room, this hotel might serve its purpose. However, for comfort, quality food, and service, there are better options nearby.

They also kept our bags after checkout free of charge when our bus wasn’t leaving until 5 PM — a small gesture that made a big difference.|The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was amazing — a generous variety and very good service throughout.|The hotel’s location is ideal — just steps away from the Petra Visitor Centre, making it perfect for anyone visiting the ancient city. While the hotel has its own on-site restaurant, there are also local restaurants right at the foot of the hotel, giving you several options for meals within walking distance.|Every member of staff I interacted with was warm, professional, and helpful — the hospitality here really stood out.|Highly recommend Edom Hotel for anyone visiting Petra. Fantastic hotel deserves much better than the 3 stars it has. Rooms very clean and well kept everyone had a smile and were very welcoming, nothing was to much trouble for them. It is a hotel that I will certainly stay in again. Hopefully it will get at least another star to it's name, it deserves it.

Great spot to stay very close to the Petra entrance, just about 200m away. Hotel staff are truly amazing, their service standards are exceptional, at the front desk but especially at the restaurant. Our room had all we needed and was in pretty good condition. Very clean. Toiletries. The disadvantage was that we had a window and balcony overlooking the mosque which is 100m away and that kept waking us up quite early but it wasn't too bad as you would want to visit Petra early.
