Near to perfection ! The Food was so incredible that we went 2 days in a row there to enjoy one of the best Dinners of our almost 40 years

Where do I begin. This experience was a great disappointment for me and my family. We had booked weeks in advance for a graduation dinner party of 11. The service was good but one of the members were inappropriate. I was served the tomato soup for starters which was bland and sour. Much too acidic - 2/5 - I could not even finish. For the main course, I ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken. This was my own error because how could I expect a Dutch restaurant to pull off a meal like this? I blame myself. The chicken was simply inadequately prepared, the combination of flavours on the plate also did not make sense… I left it untouched. Presentation made it look appealing…. The desert which was a simple vanilla ice cream and warm fruits. It was ok. It is safe to say I will not be returning here. Other members of the party were also unsatisfied with their meals and shared similar reservations.

Absolutely amazing place. The food is exquisite, prepared with the freshest local ingredients. I have no idea how they made that tomato soup, or the beef stew that I enjoyed as the main course. I wanted to keep the taste in my mouth long after I had finished each dish. Highly recommended to anyone, especially for mixed couples that consist of one vegetarian and one meat eater, like me and my girlfriend.

2021 update: what a disappointment, so much has changed. Now the menu is full with weird vegan and vegetarian things. Please go back to the old formula. I will not come anymore, my 5 stars go back to only 3 as being the average of 5 in 2018 and only 1 or 2 stars in 2021. 2018: Really nice restaurant which I always try to visit when in Maastricht. Friendly staff, good food for reasonable price. This time I took the 4 course dinner. Only the time between the courses was really long but for the rest it was lovely again. I will be back

The food is amazing and the staff is really friendly and careful. It was an amazing experience. The next time we are in Maastricht we will definitely eat there again! They have really good vegan and vegetarian options, not only the convention ones.

Horrid waitress when it came to the bill. She didn't accept a division of three for six people, which is done all over the world. No thanks for a generous tip. Also, the price of mineral water at €8.50 was a rip-off. Capped wine sold way too expensive. Lamentable. Move on.

As other reviews indeed said: lot of veggie options. However, we expected more of it, tastes where not standing out for both our dishes. Service was good in the beginning of our stay, but after our main course no one come to our table for half an hour or so. We wanted a dessert and coffee but eventually decided to leave since no one asked us.

Super friendly staff, food was really nice. No hustle even with specific restrictions due to food allergies e.g. Glutenfree and nut allergies.

Ceramique surprised us by it's good prices and good food. We were expecting to pay a lot more as per the website menu. I had the 20 year anniversary menu and the wife had the chef's menu. They wouldn't serve light drinks because it contains aspartame, so the wife had to settle for H2O. I had a very nice red house wine. For starters, i got a nice asparagus soup which was good but not exciting. She had the carpaccio of fillet of beef with truffle mayonaise which was heavenly. My main course was a Limburg zuurvlees, sort of a stew of sweet and sour meat. This is without a doubt the best zuurvlees i have ever had. She had the duckbreast fillet cranberry sause. I had a taste and it was great. Tender duckbreast and a fresh sause. Very good indeed. Fort dessert there was a walnut -honey parfait which was nice but not great. She had the best darn chocolate mousse i have ever tasted. Chocolaty and creamy. There was a big group for a birthday so they were very busy. But there was enough attention to the other guests. They really fly for you here. The staff is friendly and charming. We were an hour earlier than we had reserved for, but that wasn't a problem either. The interior is a bit dull, bright lights and not very cosy. Plain and simple, no music. All in all a very good food experience and i would definitely recommend this place for local food.

All the food was great. Three of us are vegetarians and we had a lot to choose from. Also the fish (salmon) was delicious. The spinach goat cheese pie tasted amazing. We shall come back for sure.

We had a great dinner! The restaurant is very nice and service is dynamic and smiley! All salad and vegetables were very fresh and tasty! We had zuurvlees and konijn Maastricht style, it was very tasty. As a starter, I had shrimps croquette but I am sure they have better choices. The menu offers a lot of different choices.... Meet, fish, vegetarians... You'll find your "thing"!

Good food and good beer. Best zuurvlees in town (although I'm not Dutch so my opinion probably doesn't count). The Dame Blanche is my favorite dessert, but my favorite part is that they happily supply endless carafes of free tap water (yes, I'm obviously not even European)! If you have a group, be sure to make a reservation, especially on the weekend because it fills up fast.

Quiet restaurant, with a lot of space between the tables. The atmosphere is quiet and very pleasant. The food is awesome, it is special with awesome vegetarian plates. Great place!
