Parkhotel Egerner Höfe (Rottach-Egern, Bavaria) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"A relaxed and friendly establishment offering a successful mix of regional charm and modern elements with highly accommodating staff, all keen to play host. If you are looking for something a little special, book the Alm room. You will find upmarket suites and premium doubles in the Valentina and Catherina annexes." - Tablet Hotels

Nice hotel to relax. For the price there were couple things that I’ve lacked. Room was definitely too small and didn’t even have a kettle. Breakfast that was included in price was very basic. Too basic for a 5 star hotel. Food served next to the pool area was overpriced and tasteless. What I like about this hotel was definitely professional and kind staff. Spa area is nice and not overcrowded. I could peacefully enjoy a big variety of saunas being on my own, with no people around. I also went for a massage, that I can fully recommend.

We attended my niece's wedding at the hotel's special wedding venue next to the main hotel building. The venue has indoor seating for around 70 guests on two floors, and is what is best described as typically bavarian, with wooden beams, walls and flooring. So it is a very charming venue for small weddings.|The service was stellar as was the food - all locally sourced (I'm told).

Parkhotel Egerner Höfe is pure luxury with a warm Bavarian soul. Beautiful rooms with mountain views 🏔️, an exceptional spa 💆‍♀️, and world-class dining 🍽️ — all wrapped in flawless service. Every detail feels thoughtful and elegant. We left completely recharged and already dreaming of our next stay. Highly recommended! ❤️

The overall standard of the hotel does not match its advertised price category. We stayed in Room 245. The room layout was extremely inconvenient — there was no proper space to place two suitcases. The balcony faced a rural road, with the constant noise of cars, trucks, and groups of partying youth lasting well into the night. There was no individual air conditioning in the room. To adjust the temperature, we had to contact the front desk, but our requests were ignored. As a result, we had to sleep in uncomfortable heat with the door open. Complimentary drinking water was provided only on the day of arrival. The bathroom sink had a poorly designed layout — part of it was blocked by a wooden panel, leaving no space for a toiletry bag or personal hygiene items. In the hotel restaurant, a €22 salad consisted of little more than lettuce leaves with a sour dressing. Guests are allowed to smoke cigars and cigarettes at any table on the terrace, and the preferences of non-smokers are not taken into consideration. The fitness room is very small — even with only four people inside, it felt overcrowded, and there was no space to roll out a yoga mat. Breakfast was varied, but the pastries were stale, and the coffee tasted like it came from a vending machine. We paid €400 per night (booked via Booking.com), and an additional €20 was charged for outdoor parking on the hotel premises. The spa area was the main highlight — the saunas were nearly empty, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment, with tasteful and comfortable interior design. I would also like to commend the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, and especially the beautiful floral arrangements in the lobby and restaurant. Conclusion: I do not intend to return to this hotel.

The stay was genuinely perfect. Great food (breakfast was incredible), spa, pool, customer service, and beautiful area! The room was a perfect size for my mother, daughter and I. Every detail was thought of and I would recommend this hotel highly!

Google
A gem!! Rarely have I given a perfect 5 star review to hotels...till now! The Egerner Höfe deserves it 👏 I stayed here recently during a work-related trip and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, the ambience and the food. Ideally located at the foothills of the Alps, practically next to the Tegernsee lake, one can't ask for a better location and views from this beautifully designed hotel. The twin villages where this hotel is located are absolutely lovely and a tourist delight (and unfortunately extremely crowded during the summer weekends). A must visit place for those interested in idyllic holidays or a business meet away from the hustle bustle of Munich or Berlin. A must-visit place!!

Location is rather nice. There is a garage and outdoor parking (charging only outdoor but it’s valet). Several restaurants, best having 2 Michelin stars. Very good breakfast. Nice public spaces. Excellent service!|Our room was not very big, but it was comfortable. Good shower. Good bed.

Our family vacation at your hotel was exceptional. The staff welcomed us efficiently and thoughtfully. What impressed me the most was the elegant and understated atmosphere, confirming that a high level of hospitality can be achieved quietly and without excess. The class and quality of the services accompanied us from the very first moment. Every detail is meticulously taken care of, from the fresh flowers everywhere to the neatly rolled towels.

Yelp
On a Backroads trip. This hotel is worth not riding for a day and just enjoy the spa, food, setting and service. The spa is one of a kind. We are experienced world travelers and know quality. This exceeded our expectations. Only thing missing for the cost is AC. opening a door outside is OK- but road noise and flies. given the grandeur of this place it should have AC.

Yelp
Hotel was very quaint. Breakfast was amazing. However, we came at end of July. It was crazy hot - like 34 Celsius hot (95-100 F). And the rooms do not have air conditioning. I just feel like for the price and star rating they have, that's kind of unacceptable. If you're going when the weather is more temperate or cold, I'm sure you'll be fine.
