The Nomadic Network is Back!

"I recommend tasting local olive oils at the Eggares Olive Press in Naxos as a hands-on, locally focused experience on the Greece itinerary." - Matthew Kepnes

What a great surprise this place! Lovely people with a passion for their products and land! We were greeted with a smile and we received very interesting information about the olive oil production, facts that we never heard before even if we come from an olive oil producer country. You can taste most of their products and you buy what you want, no pressure to buy! They also offer coffee and drinks that come accompanied by homemade olive oil cake! Delicious! The garden is beautiful!

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Free entrance to get a quick 10-15 minute tour and history of olives in Naxos. Followed by a tasting of various olive products. ALL FREE! There’s also other experiences you can book at a certain price, but we opted to buy products to bring back to family. There’s also a cute sitting area outside where you can order coffee, pastries and other breakfast/lunch items. Everyone who works there is fabulous.

We happened upon this place purely by accident after driving around the island and what a great suprise! We got a tour and history of oil-making and samples of their oils and spreads. All the women were so passionate and kind, and hustling in that cute, small kitchen! Lovely atmosphere and grounds, great little food selection (try the olive oil ice cream with basil oil!) So close to Naxos Town and absolutely worth a visit.

Amazing experience! Can't believe they offer the tour for free. We had to buy a lot of olives to being home. The spicy olive oil margarita and olive ice cream were incredible. The staff was all amazing and the cats were one hell of a bonus 💙

Very cute little olive oil shop and farm. The mother and daughter were so friendly and made us try 15 different oils, spreads, cakes, etc. I really recommend the ice cream with lemon olive oil - definitely a must! Another highlight was their cute cat Oliver.

A real sanctuary. A vibrant shop with brilliant staff who will make your visit informative and memorable. A must do is buying a slice of olive oil cake and sitting in the garden under the canopy amongst the olive trees-heaven. I struggled to leave here and often reminisce at the beauty of this setting.

This place was a highlight on our trip. Nicoleta, the owner was a joy, her son and the rest of the staff were just like her. They were kind, funny, joyful, it felt like we knew each other forever. Amazing place, great food, delicious coffee and obviously the olive oil is superb. This is a place that we will miss. Love love love!

Highly highly recommend!!!! The ladies were extremely sweet and the olive oil was delicious 🤤 just wish they had the flavors infused in travel size to take home. They do have the regular in travel size so bought a few of those. The spice olive oil margarita was very yummy too!
