Oh my goodness I cannot rave about this place more! I arrived 10 minutes prior to opening as I was waiting for a friend. As I sat there, I watched the parking lot fill up within minutes of opening! Upon entering, the staff was more than welcoming. Nearly all the tables were full and they were apologetic for not having one immediately available. We told them no worries and it wasn’t a problem for us to wait. We only waited, maybe five minutes, but during that time three different employees came to let us know it will only take a few more minutes and updated us as to the table availability. As we were seated we noticed there were already menus and water waiting for us. The menu is vast, and a bit overwhelming because there were too many different, and delicious, options to choose from! Torn between the crepes and a traditional breakfast, we settled for both! The food arrived quickly, and boy, was AMAZING! I can’t stop thinking about the crepes and will be back soon!

Google
I already love a drink flights, but an eggs benedict flight?!?! Sign me up! This place was adorable. I recommend getting there early on a weekend, because they do get pretty packed. Our server was so nice and accommodating. The house coffee was so tasty. I also recommend the mimosa with whatever house-made juice/syrup they're doing at the time. You can't skip this place!

Google
The food was very good. We had the Macho Style, Huevos Ranchos and Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. The black beans were especially good. Depending upon how you like your potatoes done you may like them a little crispier than what we received.

Google
The food and service were good. However, it was too noisy for me. I think the prices are really good for the amount of food they serve! So if you’re hungry and want something tasty with some Latin flavor, this is your place.

Google
Super enjoyable breakfast visit with both adults and kids. They were quite busy, so there was a 35-minute wait, but the hostess was incredibly sweet and a joy to be around. I ordered the three eggs benedict flight (not pictured because I got a little excited and was a bit hungry 🙂), which included a traditional benedict, a Reuben eggs benedict, and a crab cake eggs benedict. While I generally love Reuben dishes, this one fell a bit flat on flavor, and the shaved pastrami had a dry, off-putting texture. The Hollandaise sauce, however, was excellent, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The crab cake benedict was definitely the star of the show, but the traditional benedict was also very good. I'd give the flight an 8.5 out of 10. The cinnamon swirl pancake was also excellent. The cinnamon flavor was nice, and the frosting was a perfect touch. A creamy syrup to go with it would have made it even better. I'd rate it 9.5/10. My kids all enjoyed their eggs, sausage, bacon, and pancakes. My son also ordered the Parisian crepes and devoured them. It's great that they have a reasonably priced kids' menu and a fun game where the kids get a little prize candy at the end of the meal.

Google
Very nice place. Food all looked really good. I got the chicken and waffles. It ended up being one of the better chicken and waffles that I have had. They are dog friendly on their patio, as long as the dog behaves. Staff were very friendly. I have no negative notes. Wait time was long, but that's not their fault. It was a weekend, and the place is popular. I will be coming back.

Google
I had been to the old location but not this new one. So, it's been long enough that I can't even remember the food or menu from before. Sunday brunch was packed and our wait was about 45 minutes. Make sure to get on the wait list ahead of time to cut your in-person wait down. The four in our group had 2 three-item create your own breakfast, the Give Up, and Huevos Rancheros. The give up was... GIGANTIC. For $21 it better be, but it could have fed our whole table. If you've given up on your wasterline, the Give Up is your dish. I had the Huevos Rancheros. As a vegetarian, I was excited this ffit my restrictions since it does not at most places. It. Was. Amazing. Cannot recommend enough. There were plenty of vegetarian options too as meats could be replaced by avocado. The only negative I have to say about the place is because it was so busy service was not great. Ordering and getting the food was good, additional requests meant waiting and flagging ANYONE down because the server didn't come back until she brought the check. Getting a to-go box took longer than the food did. Again, it was busy Sunday brunch, so this minor inconvenience was still worth it.

Google
We had a great time here! We were seated immediately at the bar, the coffee was great, the corned beef was good, but the star of the show was the reuben benedict. So yummy. Definitely loud and expensive but great vibes. We'll be back!

Yelp
Excellent location near the canyon, with great breakfast and lunch options before a day of hiking or skiing. The Benedict options are especially good. Service is friendly and quick, with the owner generally being involved personally throughout the day. Excellent ambiance with lots of light and seating for everyone in a group.

Yelp
My girlfriend went there this morning by herself and said the staff made her very uncomfortable hitting on her and making weird comments. It's ridiculous how people can't even act professionally while at work. Very disappointed in this location and will not be returning

Yelp
Awesome breakfast-brunch menu lots of choices - gets busy especially on Fridays & weekends but it's always worth the wait! There's lots of parking except when they are crazy busy! Service is always quick & organized even when they are crazy busy! Today it was Mexican skillet & my fav biscuits & gravy - never a bad meal !
google avatar

Yelp
Really enjoyed coming to this brunch place! I have come here more than once and have never been disappointed! Even if it gets quite busy ( make sure to arrive early for breakfast!), the staff is fast and efficient! The meals are also to die for! The vegetarian eggs Benedict with the baked potatoes were delicious! We went around 10 am and the service was still very fast even though they were busy!

Yelp
After finding that the restaurant our group was supposed to meet up for was closed on Sunday, we quickly pivoted and found Eggs in the City. Thank you for being open and close by! We called and got on the waiting list, and then were seated even earlier than expected. Huzzah! It's a little loud in here, but the vibe is high energy and fun. Just what I like in the morning to get me going. The menu is vast-with every imaginable breakfast item you can think of-plus a few others you might not have ever heard of. Mimosas? Yup, got those too. Parking is minimal right out front, but across the street is a large empty field that has been taken over by the breakfast goers. When the weather is decent, the patio extends the restaurant capacity by a good amount. I'm making a mental note to come in the late spring (or sooner!) to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy my bacon and eggs.

Yelp
I realllllly wanted to love this place. But it missed the mark on a couple levels. Brunched here with 3 other pregnant moms, and the wait for a table wasn't too bad - about 15 min on a Monday at noon. We were then seated at a small round table (beware, seats are hard and not too comfy for long durations when pregnant), and had about 3 servers check on us within the first 5 minutes of being seated. Very pleasant to have quick service, but also confusing too at first to realize all servers wait on all tables. We placed our orders and I chose the Breakfast burrito with chorizo and avacado. The menu showed the only upcharge being the veggie sausage or smothered burrito (of which I selected neither). The burrito was nothing special, and rather bland if I'm honest, with a side of frozen cubed hashbrowns that had just been warmed up and likely fried in some manner. They were on the crispy/hard side, and again, no flavor, no rosemary or herbs popping on any bite. Quite a shame as I had a burrito experience at another spot recently that was killer!! I did not try my friends' entrees, but not one of us finished our plate, which I feel speaks for itself. :/ Food lacking flavor was one let down, but then upon taking payment, they rang up my breakfast burrito from $12.99 to $18.99. Math wasn't matching. I double checked my video and confirmed there are no notes for upcharging for the burrito unless you get the veggie sausage or smothered burrito, and also, our waiter never advised "hey, that will cost you extra, are you ok with that?" I didn't want to bring it up and make a scene while out lunching with friends but was disappointed in that for sure. Drink selection was sparse - no specialty coffees at all which is a bummer for a simple latte request. Volume inside was extremely loud so you have to speak loudly to be heard when eating with friends. Bathrooms were used twice and both times had toilet paper on the floor and overall not a neat and tidy/clean feeling. Overall, won't be returning. Was hoping it would be a hit to return with husband and more date lunches, but this was not the spot for that.

Yelp
Food 4. Service 3ish. Overall, our whole meal felt rushed, and way too attentive, please, just let us have a little space instead of the staff giving us feeling like they just wanted us to get moving. Even while we were still eating, one of bussers asked if we needed a box. Honestly, we didn't know yet, we are still clearly eating. They kept coming nonstop about filling water and coffee and even after we said no, another person would double back. It was a lot. But when we asked for something on our own, it took long. Which all seems backwards. Giving us too much attention on what we didn't want/need, and not enough for what we asked for. The food was solid though and everyone was happy with their choices. Just get some of the service sorted and this place will be ace.

Yelp
I have regrets. One of them is not eating here sooner. I visited with my baby son. We parked in the lot across the street. We were seated quickly outside. It was a beautiful day, which just helps my overall impressions anyway. But had it been gloomy, Eggs in the City still would have delivered. I ordered the BIG breakfast to share with my son (who eats quite an impressive amount). We made a pretty good dent, and we were able to take some leftovers to my husband who is not a morning person. I think my favorite item were the cheesy potatoes. Normally, I'm a simple person. I like something well seasoned, but fairly plain (never put bell peppers with my eggs or potatoes please and thank you). So I was blown away by how much I loved the cheesy potatoes! Our server was so, so friendly--probably one of the best I've had. Service was quick, which is great when you don't know how your baby's behavior will go. Even the table staff was awesome--my son was making eyes at one of the ladies who just adored him right back. I can't think of anything bad to say about this spot, and can't wait to bring my husband and come back.

Yelp
Fun little brunch spot. Decor and menu are very trendy. It was busy but we didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for a party of 2, they have a quick turnover here. Staff were very friendly and attentive. They have a large menu with something for everyone and pricing is fair. I am an eggs Benedict connoisseur so I'm very picky about that brunch menu item. I had the pulled pork eggs Benedict, & thought it was decent, but not great. The hollandaise sauce was a little bland, I prefer a little tang/zing. The pulled pork was nice and smoky but a little on the dry side. They brought our food out very quickly. Ambiance: 5/5 Staff & service: 5/5 Food: 3/5

Yelp
Food was delicious. It was very packed but got a table quickly. I didn't spend much time inside because it was crowded and I was seated outside. Parking can be a challenge but it seems that there is a constant flow of traffic in and out.

Yelp
Great breakfast the plates are very large. I had the fried chicken with biscuits, and gravy. I also customized my potatoes doctoring them up with cheese and bacon and they were amazing. Wonderful service the Benedicts looked amazing. I sat right by the kitchen and they clearly sell a lot of those. I'll have to come back.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing. I've been to many brunch spots in Salt Lake City and can easily say this has to be top 5 for sure. The service was A1 also. Price is also affordable. I would definitely come again here soon.
google avatar

Yelp
We came during peak brunch time, but were able to be seated after 30 minutes with a group of eight. The service was absolutely amazing! The food came out quicker than expected and everything was delicious. They have a secret menu item called The Jared that is a BLT-inspired breakfast entree that is delicious! I'll definitely be ordering it again. Their cinnamon swirl pancake is a great option for an appetizer that is shareable for the table.
google avatar

Yelp
Really love love love the biscuits and gravy! Highly recommend! There are so many other things to try so I have to come back soon!

Yelp
Had a great first experience at this neighborhood eatery nestled in the Millcreek area. Even on a Monday morning, the breakfast crowd packed the place, though that didn't impact the service. Not only was our server attentive and pleasant, but during the course of our meal three other staff members stopped by our table to either top off our coffees or check to see if we needed anything--just a tremendous level of customer service not often experienced these days. Oh, and the food ... spectacular breakfast fare! I had the corned beef hash, and it was excellent--a generous portion of truly "homemade" corned beef, potatoes and a couple of eggs (over easy for me), along with sourdough toast. One of the best breakfasts I have had anywhere! I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is inviting, the place is clean, the staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the service is top notch. What more could you possibly want/need to give it a try?!?

Yelp
The wait has got to be the defining moment of our breakfast experience. Granted we were not expecting a fast sit down, it was early on a Saturday however we were originally told 45 min wait but that because we were one of the first parties there (party of three) it should be shorter. We waited an hour and 15 minutes before being seated. They had closed outdoor dining but then started just letting people sit outside who had been waiting for 5 minutes instead of asking us who had been waiting an hour if we would be okay with sitting outside. Granted they are truly at the mercy of the people dining and when they leave for others to take the seats however the staff needs to do a better job and putting time limits on tables and keeping the flow going. They also need to do better on letting people know a more accurate time frame for waiting and they need to ask those top of the line if they would be okay with the outdoor seating / dining options instead of just letting anyone sit down and not go by the waitlist. The food was alright. By the time we sat down and got our food I wasn't in a breakfast mood anymore so I ordered their lunch and it was alright nothing crazy good but it was by no means bad. I have heard good things about their breakfast items so definitely would recommend ordering one or those instead of lunch. Also our waiter never checked in on us or offered refills? We had to start getting up and asking the host for refills since no one was really around to help us. (Could be because of a busy morning but then they should be having more staff available to help.) Overall not super happy with the experience but am hoping they can fix some things to become better.

Yelp
The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. And I am an eggs Benedict connoisseur! Mimosas were good too. Loved the ambiance too. Will come back!
google avatar

Berlin L.

Yelp
The portions here are HUGE! The chicken and waffles was really good but the chicken was a little fatty. The crisp was good and the biscuit was amazing! I also tried the huevos rancheros and they were good but the potatoes needed more flavor
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place for brunch and it did not disappoint. We called ahead of time to get a table and there was no wait when we arrived. It had a great ambiance and a cute place to meet up with friends. The only down side was that the potatoes were really salty. I only tasted the salt and not the potatoes. Maybe it was a bad batch that they made. Beside the salty potatoes, everything else was great. There's a lot of parking spaces across the street.
google avatar

Tatiana W.

Yelp
This is my new favorite brunch place in Salt Lake! I want to go back and try everything on the menu. The eggs Benedict were amazing, and the house hot sauce added the perfect peppery flavor to it! Servings were great for the price. The wait to get in for a busy Saturday morning was impressively short. Staff kept checking on our drinks and our food, it was amazing to see them work together at the packed restaurant. The art inside was super cool and it was a great, bright concept.
google avatar

Annie H.

Yelp
The last time we stopped in, I didn't have much of an appetite, so I ordered the thing I always wonder who orders. LOL. The oatmeal. It was incredible. It was just the right texture. I hate snot texture oatmeal. The syrup came on the side so I could control my sweetness level. I have tried the biscuits and gravy, and they asked if I wanted bacon with it, and what came was biscuits with white gravy, no sausage, and a pile of bacon. It was good, and I love bacon more than about anything, but I found myself missing the sausage.
google avatar

Traci E.

Yelp
Busy weekend as usual and without a huge wait we got a seat at the bar. Sitting at the bar we walked the working of the kitchen and the window. We'll oiled machine. However it seems they might need a few more servers during their super busy weekends. Service didn't seem to be as good as past visits. However the food was delicious as usual. My favorite is the skillets and the hubs likes the Benedicts. the cinnamon swirl pancake is always a treat. Was surprised to find out we could get a mimosa as they aren't on the menu. Definitely a nice treat.
google avatar

Yelp
Came for brunch today service and food was great. The portion sizes are perfect for the hungry teenagers I brought with me. It was also nice of our waitress to bring my wife a birthday crepe. We all ate good I had the chilaquiles verdes, my 2 sons had the chicken and waffles, my daughter had a create her own breakfast and the wife had the Macho. We haven't been here since they moved from the old location and I am glad we rediscovered the new spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a perfect place to come after going skiing in PC or up the cottonwood canyons. They have a variety of food from breakfast to dinner but the menu is neat and not overwhelming. Service was top notch. Plenty of parking cause they opened up a dirt lot across the street. Food is well priced and perfectly portioned. I got the huevos rancheros. Yummy. The sauces were definitely hitting my taste buds with every bite. My friend got the chicken and biscuits and his meal was 20/10. I will only get that from now on.

Becky J.

Yelp
Food was great, but the service was even more exceptional! They did everything to accommodate our request and got us seated quickly! Food came fast. The outdoor seating is perfect this time of year. Highly recommend!

Jenn G.

Yelp
A shout out to Jared for being so welcoming and for his excellent service! We were in for new student orientation at The U and had a great breakfast at this restaurant.
google avatar

Brenda S.

Yelp
We stopped here one morning and we're so glad we did. It is not close to where we live but we definitely will be back. It was delicious! Loved the tomatoes on the egg Benedict. Delicious! Very friendly staff. Loud environment but what breakfast place isn't.
google avatar

Kari B.

Yelp
Wow! This was such an amazing place that was recommended by the host of our Airbnb. It did not disappoint. It was quite busy at 10 a.m. on a Friday which I took as a good sign. We were happy to be seated outside so got a table right away. The service was spot on - friendly, fun, and attentive and the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of items - Huevos Rancheros, crepes, Carne Asada skillet, and the Give Up breakfast. The portions were generous and everything came out as ordered. We will definitely visit again when back in town!!
google avatar

Yelp
A very popular spot for brunch, this place is very accessable from the freeway. There are a few parking spots next to the building and a big lot across the road. Be prepared for a wait. It has some gluten free options with modification, but the menu isn't labeled. We ordered blintzes (not gf) and a Greek skillet. They do not have gluten free bread for toast, but offered a corn tortilla (um no thanks). I opted for the pancake which wasn't gf but my son enjoyed it. The skillet was yummy and filling. My partner enjoyed his blintzes. Service was good. From the guy bringing water to the hostess to the server, everyone was nice, attentive, and helpful. The restaurant itself is cute. It's very very noisy inside. Some sound proofing would've gone a long way. It's also pretty tightly packed. Also, styrofoam takeout containers... Do better.
google avatar

Dale G.

Yelp
Probably the best brunch spot I've been to in salt lake. I'd go every weekend if I lived closer. Service is usually friendly and prompt. The place has a good vibe and the ambiance fits it. Parking can be tough on the weekends, though.
google avatar

Vicki R.

Yelp
Best place for breakfast! So much food, and the staff is stupendous!! Parking across the street, indoor and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Amor G.

Yelp
Went for my friends bday n they brought out a big birthday pancake that tasted amazing. Spilt the crabs egg Benny n carne asada skillet with my sis, it was delicious.. the mimosas were good... service was great!!!
google avatar

John F.

Yelp
Really just OK... not great (not bad, just not great), and not worth the nearly hour wait on a Sunday. We both had different benedicts, and neither of us were impressed. I guess if you slather it with butter or oil, and it's bound to have flavor. Not outrageous, but not cheap. No ambiance for sure, so that's not a brownie point. No, we won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute, Small, Bright, Loud Eatery. When we got there, the very small parking lot was full. Luckily there is an overflow parking across the street that is shared with the trail close by. There was a 20-25 minute wait for a table. The waiting area is small so we stood in the entry way. Everyone that came after us was asked to wait outside. Normally they have outside dining, but this morning it was Cold and Windy. (It's going to snow tonight.) Burr They did a good job of getting us seated quickly, and the server came to take our drink order right away. Our food order came out quicky. I was disappointed in what I ordered. I ordered the Goldie Locks. When the server placed it front if me I was extremely disappointed. Even though it was the best tasting pancake I've had in a very long time, it was very thin, hardly filling, quarter size piece of ham ( think lunch meat) and a small egg. I was still hungry when I got home so I had to fix me something to eat. The other meals at our table were adult size and plentiful (even the pancakes were fluffier) except for the order of the 1/2 side of bacon. There were literally only 2 small, yes that's right, 2 small pieces of bacon. It was shocking. Service was great and attentive without feeling we were being rushed. One pet peeve of mine is.... for a $3.75 cup of coffee, I would like a refill where the cup is full to the brim not 2/3 full. Great place to stop in the summer for patio dining, after a long morning hike.
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
This place was awesome! The food was very delicious. The waiter was helpful on giving us tips on what to order. The restaurant has a cool indoors, and outside is nice too. You get to enjoy the scenery.
google avatar

Bob M.

Yelp
This a good choice for a filling breakfast. Like cozy surroundings, good service and filling meal. Place was clean, service was ready to please. Outside seating was full and at 830 am we got the last table.

Yelp
Beautiful patio setting, and food was delish. They'll wait. The staff was very friendly and served our huge group without any hesitation. Thank you

Yelp
I am not exaggerating when I say that I think I found my new favorite breakfast place in Salt Lake City. I had tried multiple times to get brunch here before but the wait was just too long (over an hour and a half). But when I finally got a seat I can definitely see why the wait is so long because it is worth it. I had a sweet pork skillet and the cinnamon swirl pancake and they were out of this world! I will never stop recommending the cinnamon swirl pancake or this restaurant. I can't wait to try other things on the menu too. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was the perfect place for a fun brunch with friends. Highly recommend checking this place out!
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful breakfast at eggs in the city. Call ahead for a reservation and still had to wait but it was worth it. I'm still thinking about the fruit lances. The servings are huge so consider sharing or taking some home. Excellent service.
google avatar

KariElle T.

Yelp
Food was huge portions and pretty quick turn around. The place is full and small, but a party of 7 adults fits snug. 10/10 I'd go again. Parking was easy since it's basically in a dirt lot.

Martha R.

Yelp
The food is fantastic! The service is great. They are always busy but get you right in. The staff is friendly and fast. Outside dining is a plus in nice days.
google avatar

Sara V.

Yelp
Excellent food, always tastes great! It's one of my favorite breakfast spots to introduce out of town guests to.
google avatar

Paly K.

Yelp
Nestled up in the hills. Great food and atmosphere. Not your ordinary breakfast spot. Amazingly delicious fluffy pancakes. Breakfast potatoes are delish! The wild card omelet was okay. But the corn beef and hash was great! Definitely a must try spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Traveling through SLC and wanted a breakfast/brunch spot. So glad that we landed on Eggs in the City! The food was delicious and the place is so fun and cute. Great outdoor seating and service. The eggs were cooked to perfection for my Florentine!

Deborah C.

Yelp
We had an awesome lunch here today. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside. Jared was our server and he was so awesome. Super friendly and provided great recommendations helping us on ordering. All three of our dishes were delicious: huevos rancheros, the Breakfast BLT and a Reuben sandwich. Couldn't have been better all around.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
I would give this place 5 stars because of the service. The food would be a 3. We called ahead for a table, knowing that brunch over the holiday weekend would be impossible if I didn't get on a list. The man running the register was very helpful and friendly. His time estimate was pretty close to when we were actually seated. The food portions are big. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, a kids meal of pancake and bacon, and I got the crepes. The biscuits and gravy were under seasoned. The kids meal was great and the crepes were ok. We will be back for the service and to try more items.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is always fresh and delicious, very good and efficient service and the atmosphere is super nice, definitely one of my family's and my favorite places.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service. You can tell everyone is working together and they make a great team. Food came out quick, was super tasty, and the place had good vibes. Definitely come check this place out.
