This is a lovely little church with frescos all over the walls. Whilst looking inside, the organ was playing. What i thought was piped turned out somebody was actually playing. If you are in Chartres, even 1 day, take a 5 minute stroll from the market area and have a look around this quaint church

Free entry, a large church that’s most interesting inside, I would say it is more interesting than the cathedral because you have close views of the stained glass windows and the interior stonework and roof are all painted. In need of restoration work.

Well worth a visit. Set in the lovely old town of Les Andelys...itself worth visiting...it has some lovely features.

Wonderful little church, a hidden gem a few hundred meters from Chartres cathedral. A great example of a medieval church dedicated to St Aignan with painted walls, tapestries and stained glass. Definitely worth a visit

I loved this place, perhaps more than the cathedral

Atmospheric, and oasis of calm, very old and traditional, in the shadow of the cathedral but still go.

Pitty that i came here on a day it closes. But i love the ancien look of it from the outside. Really look like from a movie 💐☀️
