Église Sainte-Eugénie de Biarritz

I could not see it inside properly, only through a glass/plastic window. Seems interesting. Impressive from outside.

Beautiful! Closed for renovations unfortunately.

You can go inside, but they put a weird display in front, but you can still see the inside. See picture. The crypt next door was closed though.

When I came here Tuesday afternoon, there were 2 men who had repertoire with orgel (pipe organ) and trumpet. Very beautiful. The vitraux (stained glass windows) are very nice with beautiful colours. Not so far from point view and Rock of the virgin

Sadly we couldn't go past the entrance. No idea why they have closed the doors on the side as soon as you enter through main gate. But the building from outside looks phenomenal and great.

Amazing church on the highest point of Biarritz, in the middle of a nice plaza surrounded by bistros and shops. In the inside is beautiful, small but very nice architecture. Peaceful atmosphere and nice views from just across the street.

Largely closed for refurbishment as of August 2025

Not really worth visiting as you cannot walk round and can only stand in the entrance porch area
