Eh! Burger

Came here for dinner on our last night in Munising. Food is great! Chicken tenders were good, the fries are amazing, and the burgers are huge and delicious! I am so glad we stopped! The cashier was also very kind!

We stopped by after Pictured Rock cruise and the food was wonderful! Definitely an easy option for tourists as the location is so convenient too. I guess you can try more local food, but the atmosphere had a somewhat of a local community vibe so I liked it. They have both Coca Cola and Pepsi machines which I’ve never seen in other stores!! Veteran run business.

Great burgers! This is made to order food with counter service. We got lucky that no one was in line when we got there, so we didn’t have to wait too long. We ordered way too much food. A side of fries can easily feed 2-3 people. The cashier didn’t bother to tell us that when we ordered 3 sides for 5 people. Lots of fries were thrown away and money was wasted. Really enjoyed our burgers and chicken tenders though. I also enjoyed the pear cider from local brewery By George.

We got into town a little late around 8:30pm and just wanted a little something. Eh! Burger was close to our VRBO, so we just walked over. There was little to no wait once we entered, but as the sunset boat cruise returned it got busy. My wife had wanted to try an impossible burger and took the plunge. I tried it too and we both thought the taste was good, but it does have a different texture to it. My mushroom burger was good, too. The tots were crunchy which I like, but were older somewhat cold not fresh.

So first they are open to 11pm which is awesome after a sunset boat tour. We had the 1/3 lb burger and it was so good, juicy and flavorful sauce. The cheese tots are to die for! But one order easily feed 3 or 4 adults. The little bacon cheeseburger was lacking, the meat patty was thin like a McDonald's patty (I guess if your a kid) but I couldn't eat a 1/3 pound and ordered a little. There was more bun than burger and not a good bun like the big burger. So do t order the littlest unless they start making them a bit more quality. The tables are a fun spot to do some planning.

BEST POUTINE I'VE EVER ATE!!! And I've eaten it in Canada! Seriously though, it was amazing! Their patty melt and local whitefish are can't miss choices as well.

Excellent burgers! He had the regular burger and I had an olive burger. So good, hand made patties, fresh toppings! He also had a local brewed lager he really enjoyed. I saw the poutine fries after I ordered, so we may just have to come back!

Reveiw before recieving our food: Friendly staff, open late AND serving food (many places in town close up early or close kitchen early). Nice local beer selection. We were very grateful we were able to walk in 30 minutes before close and not be turned away. They even had coloring pages for the kids! The burgers were very good and the fries even better! Food did not disappoint 😋

The whitefish basket was very good. Seasoned fries. They gave us 2 coleslaws because we were sharing the 4 piece whitefish basket. The service was fine. The cashier where you ordered was a bit overwhelmed but friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Outside seating as well as indoor. Self serve for drinks and condiments. A bright and nice environment with different seating areas. We didn't get the tator tots but they looked great.

This place is basically a Burger King. The cheese curds were horrible. The double cheeseburger I ordered was about the size of a regular McDonald's burger. The fries were the only decent thing. The lady behind the counter kept coughing which was disgusting. You get what you pay for here. It's okay if you're in a rush but you would get more food at McDonald's or Burger King than you do here. Instead of here try pictures rocks pizza. Much better ambiance and food.

We both had Eh! Burgers and shared some tots. Food was excellent, service was great, restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean. We will definitely come back!

Amazing food, the food surprises me So much with how good the burgers and cheese curds were. The service was really nice, and super cozy sitting area.

Stumbled in here after doing a bout tour around the bay, didn't expect much, but this place was so good! My boyfriend and I shared a meal of wings and poutine and the wings were big! We got full off them! The poutine was good and the gravy was really peppery, which we didn't mind. I got a strawberry margarita to drink and my boyfriend got one of the local beers. Super close to the harbor and service was friendly and easy! It was busy the day we went but I def recommend checking it out if in the area!

Eh! Burger is an absolute gem of a local restaurant, offering a breathtaking view of the southern bay of Lake Superior. This spot proved to be the perfect venue for a delightful lunch to kickstart our day. From the moment we walked in, The staff welcomed us with a warm smile and a chill, vibrant setting. The décor is a charming blend of rustic and modern, with cozy seating and large windows that offer stunning views of the bay, creating an inviting and relaxed ambiance. Adding to the unique charm of the place is a life-sized velociraptor prop in the middle of the lobby, sparking curiosity and delight among the guests. I decided to go for the wings with their signature Angry Kitty Buffalo sauce, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Each bite delivered an explosion of flavor that exceeded all expectations. The wings were impeccably juicy and tender, and the sauce packed a powerful punch with just the right amount of heat, balancing spiciness and savory goodness. The strong, kickin' flavor had a bit of tanginess, making each bite super tasty. Our experience at Eh! Burger was fantastic, from the welcoming vibes to the outstanding meal and the whimsical velociraptor centerpiece. This place has undoubtedly earned a spot on my list of must-visit eateries, and I am already looking forward to my next visit whenever we are in town.

Solid quick fast tasty food. I ordered the smoked u.p. which was excellent. The service was quick and efficient and this place had a nice seating. Highly recommend

Food was good. We had the whitefish and poutine. Whitefish was very good, flakey and good flavor. Restaurant was clean.

The lady at the counter tapping her finger nails on the register. My friend didn't have her glasses and the lady would not read my friend the sauce choices . I read them out loud to my friend. The lady acted like she would want to be anywhere but where she was. No smile no have a good night . Would not recommend not a good vibe

Expensive, but worth it! Delicious burgers made from real meat--not frozen patties! Several options--our group had two Eh! Burgers, a mushroom Swiss and an olive burger--all were excellent! The fries are awesome--hand cut and again, not out of a bag of frozen fries! We were all so glad we stopped here for lunch! It was awesome! And they have both Coke and Pepsi products, so everyone in our group was happy! Very close to the Pictured Rocks Cruise Dock.

It's one of a few places open here in town but that doesn't mean they're complacent. The service was a bit slow but only because we showed up during off season at lunchtime. They have a slushie bar which adds to the fun. My whitefish basket was locally sourced from Lake Superior and it was cooked to perfection, as were my tots. My husband had the burger which was piled high with toppings! I'm sure we'll pass through here again and we'll know where to stop!

Not bad, but not mindblowing either. Despite the fancy advertising it feels and tastes like any old burger joint. I got the Buffalo burger but to be honest I didn't notice a whole lot of difference between a normal beef smashburger I've had elsewhere. Stylistically, the dine-in area has a fun and whimsical atmosphere that can appeal to children, especially the dinosaur chowing down on a burger.

I came here with my buddy before getting on to the Pictured Rocks cruise. We were both pretty hungry so burgers seemed like the right fit. Eh! Burger has a very homey vibe and the waiting area has its very own velociraptor eating a burger. We got 1 eh! burger, 1 black and bleu, a strawberry daiquiri slushie and a margarita slushie. I loved my burger, the edges had that crispy char like a smashburger but the inside was meaty and juicy. The produce on top of the burger tasted fresh and I loved the "wah sauce." (Mixure of ketchup, mustard and mayo) My buddy loved his burger too. He had the same comment about the quality of the burger. Just enough char on the outside. The slushies were good to have while we waited, it was pretty busy and the pick up window was somewhat slow moving. The slushies didn't just taste like sugar either, they were definitely alcoholic. ;) I'd definitely go to an Eh! Burger again. I appreciate 1/3 pound patties being the staple with the option to make it a double. Do note that burgers come as as singles, not with sides automatically. The cheese curds another table had did look pretty tasty though. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5

On approach to order counter we asked male employee what he suggested. He offered that fries come big so best to split order. Burgers were very good. Hardly any wait time. They got very busy after we got food. Was surprised never added another order taker. Thankful we had been taken care of. Bill was $35 for two burgers, 1-order of fries, 2- med drinks.

Our party of two order a burger and white fish sandwiches. Fries are separate but the portion is big. Both sandwiches were delicious. Soda fountain type drinks- both Coke and Pepsi productions. Nicely decorated. Order at counter. They bring it to your table. Clean. Prices $$.

Greetings. When I walked into Eh!Burger the ambience was almost identical to a Arby's. Eh!Burger has windows everywhere and a nice outside patio with a view of the lake. The service was slow and rushed with a typical fast food order system. After 13 minutes my order was called and I picked it up. The food here is excellent, something to a better Culver's. I had their Backdraft Burger and it is now my favorite jalapeño burger, it was very well balanced and everything was fresh. I'd like to say this review is a 5 star solely for the food quality, the service could have been better. I'll dine here again when I get the chance, thank you.

If you find yourself in Munising this is a must try spot. I know it says Eh burger but the whitefish is a must try, it was fresh and tasted delicious, and that plate of poutine fries!!! YUM EH! This is a counter service restaurant and everything is made fresh to order so the food is good and hot when you get it! Now, if your looking for a baked, or broiled option you won't find that here, you also won't find a salad here (other than coleslaw) so just be prepared.

Fries are very good -- definitely order. Burger was quite greasy but cooked well. Cheese was melted well, tomatoes and lettuce were fresh. Service was friendly and prompt. Didn't care for the fish -- just not a fan of fish with the skin fried on.

Our meat was pink. stopped eating as soon as we saw it. i don't know of any restaurants that willingly give you pink meat without asking how you want it cooked. fries and cheese curds were good. but we spent $40 on a meal that wasn't edible

Quick service. Excellent burgers and fries. Also the chicken strips are huge. Outdoor seating. Decent local beers in cans.

EH-MAZING! BEST BURGER I have had in a long time and the fries and tots were so freaking good. I don't usually visit the same place twice while visiting a new town but I was craving those fries. This is an order at the counter establishment but it feels like a full service environment.

Super busy with one person taking orders, so we had to wait a while to put our order in. We got 2 eh! Burgers to go and a fry, which came out to almost $30. Took it home and they got the order wrong. Onion on the wrong burger, ok fine. The fries are thick cut with skins on, but not much to them, in my opinion. They had to be salted and doused in ketchup to be decent. My niece was almost done with her burger, and as she took a bite, she pulled a huge hair out of her mouth. Done.

Food was just okay, service was good, prices were insane though. I got a chicken strip basket and a small drink. After a 15% tip it was $28. Definitely must survive off of tourism because there's no way locals could afford this.

Eh seems about right. The location is nice for a post meal walk. The service is ok. You order at the counter and then they bring you your order. Fountain drink station is self service. The cheese curds were very good but the rest of the food was ok. We were very disappointed with the whitefish basket. We ordered the 2 piece and one of the orders basically had 2 half filets. For the lower quality food you get, eh burger is overpriced and a bad value. Wish we would have checked yelp before coming. Lesson learned.

The food was really, really good. We ordered take out: a wild whitefish basket and a backdraft burger and fries. We ordered bacon on the burger and added coleslaw to the fish; unfortunately neither of us got our add-ons, so 4 stars instead of 5.

Stopped in yet again during one of my annual treks north. Tried the whitefish basket this time. Really glad I did. Three- or five-piece baskets were available. I got a fiver because I already knew that my table mates' fry grabbers would be sneaking in to steal a piece. Big planks of caught-fresh-behind-the-store Lake Superior whitefish, lightly breaded, and flash fried to savory perfection. The whitefish is bright white, moist, and flaky. Served with tartar sauce, coleslaw, dinner roll, and a healthy bed of Eh! Burger's tasty fries. Not cheap at nearly $23 (drink not included), but it's a UP take on fish and chips that I enjoyed. Fountain drinks available separately, or choose from among their locally sourced canned beers.

Went in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The lady working was busting it; ringing up customers, wiping tables, and serving food. She was super friendly and kind. I always admire the barn wood counter. As always the food was wonderful! Didn't hurt that there's Red Ridge available as well.

Gluten free and dairy light eater. This place is a casual order at front and sit down restaurant. But don't let it fool you the food was worth the wait. I ordered the burger with fresh jalapeños and a gluten free bun and a side of fires. The one down side was the fries were breaded. I couldn't help it I ate a few. The wait staff should have keyed in on the fries not being gluten free. I ate some but not all. The burger though was excellent. The fresh jalapeños were a great addition. The oven roasted tomatoes were a winner. My friend ordered the fried white fish (and on our second trip the impossible burger). She liked the flavor. It was well breaded, just enough. She loved the fries. The impossible burger was good. Our second time we got the cheese tots. They were obviously very cheesy but we split them. They had a cheese sauce like velvetta over them. They were good. We left very satisfied and would recommend to everyone wanting a good solid place to eat in Munising.

I genuinely wish there were more Eh! Burger locations than just this one in Munising & generally wish Eh! Burger was closer to me! Their food is delicious! This is definitely my go-to whenever I am in Munising or just passing through, they know good food. Located in the heart of downtown Munising, steps away from Lake Superior, what I love most that it's a UP originated AND veteran originated business! I think the velociraptor they have on display inside the restaurant is hilarious! And I just absolutely love the food here! They are vegan friendly because they have the impossible burger patty, which is delicious whether you are or aren't vegan, and they have an extensive menu filled with way more than just burgers as well! During my most recent visit to Eh! Burger, I ordered the whitefish basket. The 1/2 pound option is enough fish & fries to feed 2 people and the fish tasted SO fresh and the breading was BEYOND wonderful! Delicious all around! Love that there is indoor and outdoor seating, its proximity to the lake and to Pictured Rocks Cruises, making it the perfect place to stop by before and/or after your cruise, and its street parking options! Do yourself a favor and stop here the next time you're in Munising!

Ok! So Eh! Burger is usually pretty good, but you NEED to come here right as they open! These fries are cooked to PERFECTION! As well as the whitefish! The beer batter is iconic! Exactly what you'd hope to bite into when you think "Beer Batter"! The service was astonishingly fast, polite, and joyful! Everything was clean, crispy, and ready to go! Hands down my best experience here! Thank you!

Wow! Visiting Munising for a few days, taking in the tourist attractions, and we came across Eh! Burger. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try their burgers but what I did try; two days in a row is their 5 piece fish basket. The only words I have to describe this meal; Da Bomb! Fresh fish, coleslaw, fries, and a piece of bread. Don't slip on their grilled cheese sandwich either, it melts in your mouth. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast with a smile.

This is a pretty good place for an upscale burger. I got the vegetarian burger and it was greasy and almost "suspiciously" good if you know what I mean! I also got a gluten-free bun and was pleasantly surprised that they offered them. The price is a little higher and you have to order the sides separately. It also could have been a little cleaner inside, especially the self serve condiment stand as I noticed there wasn't just spilled ketchup on the table, but dust where it should be cleaned daily. However, you can't beat the view they have of Lake Superior and the boat docks. It's a cute and busy touristy restaurant.

A popular spot for folks taking the Picture Rocks Cruise. Ample seating in and outside. We ordered the Whitefish caught off the Huron Lake. Freshly fried and made to order. Pleasant all around experience. The order came in a lunchbox, which can easily be eaten on a road or boat trip.

Nice location right by the lakefront in quaint Downtown Munising. Plenty of tables inside and out, but the place was jam packed when we went. We ordered a half pound of fried whitefish with fries. People in our group liked it so much that another few orders were placed. The fish was lightly battered, so it wasn't heavy or greasy. It was served with the standard condiments of lemon and tartar sauce. The fries were decent, but nothing extraordinary. The first order included cole slaw, which was good, but for some reason the later orders did not have cole slaw. The orders also included bread rolls. Pretty good overall, but fell short of amazing.

I don't love this place, but my wife and kids like it when we're in Munising so I deal with it. Seems like just about every time I have to deal with somebody on the staff with a bad attitude. The first couple times I was there I waited around an hour for the food, which is insane. At least that part has improved. Now if they could only give a few employees an attitude adjustment.

Wonderful place. Me and my family were on a trip in the U.P and ran into this place. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. 100% recommended for any meal. The workers were nice and fast.

Had a wonderful mushroom burger for lunch. it was really delicious. Really convenient place to eat when doing a Picture Rocks cruise.

We like it. We spend money here. Food is good. Food is 4 stars. But... We just spent $90 w a tip and couldn't get a paper cup for water out of the fountain machine. Sigh. The water in Munising is delicious. Why should we have to pay $2.50 for a bottle of Dasani? Charge me .50 for a cup. I can deal w that. Please and thank you.

The fries here are so good. But I didn't go for fries. I went for the vegan burger with some colleagues who were traveling with me for work. We entered with them closing in 40 minutes. We were told very rudely that we could not eat inside that we had to take our food to go. Then asked if we still wanted to order. We ordered and the service and environment was so bad that the other colleague that was Black went and sat in the car while our two White colleagues got the food. Needless to say, the 2 stars are ONLY for the fries. So if you are Black and want to eat here, send your White friends in for you.

Burger was Meh! At Eh! It was thin and so overcooked it was tough. Tots were barely warm and were replaced grudgingly. Staff was ungracious. Only thing going for this place is location.

Super SUPER over priced. And I'm from LA. Fast food, that took a long time and was just regular.

Service was very friendly and accommodating and the food was quite delicious (slightly above average pricing but portions more than offset that, great for sharing!!)

So, the fries were really really good! Get the chili cheese fries! The burgers were fine. It was a fine cheeseburger. Nothing super special but still tasty. It was pricey for what it was. The atmosphere is fun and the food was quick! It's a fine option if you are in Munising.

The food was pretty good. But if you think it's fast food prices you will get a surprise. Looked at the menu board and it said 11 for a burger. That about average for a meal, but no that's just the burger. 47 for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 1 drink.

They don't even have water cups and very overpriced. They are one of the places that will remain open after 5pm. So good strategy on their part. Food wasn't bad though.

i've ate at this place a lot i got a wrap way to spicy too much sauce i have a high spice tolerance and i could barley eat it. not very impresse.

I drove by this place for a few winters heading downstate and never had a chance to stop in. Finally, here in the summer after a pictured rocks cruise I finally gave it a try. I got their BBQ burger and it was really good. The bacon was cooked properly and the cheese and sauces all paired well. My wife got a chicken wrap and said she would order it again. The kid split a chicken finger meal, which they almost finished, and we split chili cheese tots. The tots were good, but a bit greasier than I like: chili cheese fries next time. There was a lot of outdoor eating due to covid and the place was clean.
