Eichardt's Private Hotel

The Eichartd's Hotel exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impeccable. From the perfectly prepared room to the small thoughtful touches carefully curated throughout the entire hotel. The guest experience was next level. The service was outstanding, warm, professional, and genuinely attentive from check-in to check-out. Every staff member we encountered was polite, friendly and eager to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Located in the heart of town the Eichardt's hotel offers easy access to everything, and the mountain views are just spectacular Highly recommend to anyone looking for a flawless, memorable stay.

We had an incredible experience here. There had been damage to our original apartment room and since it was shoulder season, we were upgraded to the penthouse. It was a fantastic way to end our trip. The accommodations were fantastic, the service and care we received was great and the food...especially breakfast was wonderful.||The location was also GREAT....within walking distance of so many things.||We particularly enjoyed our interactions with Sioned and David AND the cleanin/turn down crew were exceptional. THANK YOU!!!!

Beautiful rooms and amazing service! The beds were very soft and comfy. The apartment was spacious with an outer room, bedroom, and huge bathroom plus closet area. There are not any grounds for the hotel. It is a building right on the main street that runs along the water so there are many people walking by between it and the water. The views from the street and also from the lounge area on the second floor are wonderful. You can drive on that street to leave your car to be valet parked (free of charge ... Almost everything here was free of charge). We loved the free (except alcohol) drinks and snacks in the mini bar. The 5pm-6pm complimentary drinks were pretty good. I suggest tasting a small amount of the ones you are interested in before committing to a whole glass. The canape was small but tasty. We also appreciated the $50 food credit per person which made for a nice dinner at the grill watching the sun go down. It's a little odd that the toilet didn't have a door on it but it wasn't really an issue. The large closet was a nice surprise. I will certainly remember my stay here with great fondness. It was pricey but a nice treat.

We heard much about this hotel but it turned out to be a disappointment. The location I highly would not recommend. It’s literally sitting on top of a busy bar street scene with EDM music playing through the night. The amenities given the price is moderate at best. The staff are very nice. The rooms are incredibly dusky and the heritage room that we were staying in had absolutely no view other than into the street. There are much better options with Lakeview‘s even in town. If I was to do it over again, I probably would stay at the Rosewood or one of the other Lakeview hotels or lodges. Finally, we were given a late check out so we went on a long hike and when we got back, they told us that they needed the room based on the last minute booking and wanted to charge us a late fee. Very unprofessional.

We had an amazing stay at Eichardt’s Private Hotel! Firstly, there’s no better location as everywhere you need to go is a 3 minute walk away, and you have a lovely waterfront view right as you exit. The customer service is unparalleled as we had pleasant daily interactions with the staff. We had even left a few items in our room after check out, and the staff contacted us and shipped it to the address we requested free of charge. The daily snack refills were greatly appreciated by the kids, as well as the small evening treats. I cannot emphasize enough the fantastic customer service and experience here - you will truly feel like a five star guest!

We really enjoyed our three night stay, the hotel is perfectly located at the heart of Queenstown with stunning views of the waterfront and the breathtaking mountainous background. ||The staff are great, they will go out of their way to help you, every person we met was very pleasant and professional and very eager for you to make use of everything Queenstown has to offer. Having a car was a breeze thanks to their efficient and complimentary valet service. ||The spa was under renovation so unfortunately we couldn’t use it. We had breakfast included in our stay, this featured a hot menu and a selection of cold continental items. Breakfast was tasty and fresh and always arrived quickly. The hotel also offers complimentary drinks between 5.30pm and 6.30pm every night. We were slightly confused with the offering on our first night as we could only select one glass of wine, however this seemed to change on our final night where we could also choose from beers and cocktails (plus more than one glass was allowed this time!). ||Would love to give the hotel 5 stars but we really did encounter a significant issue with noise at night. We had room 4 which was huge and well appointed but unfortunately it faced a roof top bar and a club. The roof top bar blasts music out until midnight (which isn’t an awful time) but the club blasts music until 2.30am. This makes the whole room shake and thump and you can’t get a peaceful night of sleep until the club shuts down. It really is a shame. We mentioned this to reception but apart from suggesting we call the night team, it felt like there was nothing more they could do. Therefore we strongly suggest that anyone avoids staying in room 4 or 5 if you want a good nights sleep ahead of a busy day exploring Queenstown.

I went here for my honeymoon and the service and hotel rooms were perfect. Best experience in the whole trip and one of the best I have ever been. Thank you!!
