Eiger Mountain & Soul Resort

Great location facing the Eiger Mountain. |Check in was smooth and very prompt. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. Provided a lot of helpful information at various times with sight seeing. Helen in particular was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped with necessary items.|The driver who picked us at the station was very pleasant and helpful.|Restaurant staff (breakfast) very friendly and efficient. Special mention Carlos always with a smile. |Free mini bar in the room was a bonus. Not many hotels offer this. Mini bar was replenished every day.|Afternoon coffee and cake was another bonus. Cakes served were very delicious. Dinner service by Craig was good. |House keeping staff very efficient and our room was well cleaned. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.|Only negative is the noise factor from the bar in front of the hotel on the weekend.|You need to use the ear plugs the hotel provides.

I researched many places when planning our trip to Grindelwald. The Eiger Mountain and Soul Resort kept coming up at the top of the list. We had a wonderful time! The staff was really friendly and helpful. It’s centrally located, within walking distance from the train station and in the middle of many restaurants. I was amazed at their breakfast buffet! More delicious options than I’ve seen at our other stays. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We honestly loved the resort and will stay there again if ever we go back to Grindelwald! And one quick side note. Some reviewers (for many locations) make note of flies. It’s a part of life in the mountains. EVERY PLACE that has any outdoor seating or open doors or windows will have a few flies buzzing around. We visited various restaurants while in the area and ALL of them had flies. So don’t base your decision on any place based on someone saying there were flies around.

Perfect location, within walking distance of everything you need. The rooms are lovely and we had an incredible view to wake up to every morning! Every single person we came in contact with was so warm and welcoming. Shout out to Benjamin! He helped accommodate all of our questions and requests and never made us feel like a bother. Love the staff, love the hotel! Will definitely be back again!

I was very lucky to book this hotel. The room is very comfortable, the mini bar is free, and the breakfast is very rich. The hostess come to greet and ask about the stay. I participated in the mountain running every Wednesdays and ran through every place in Grindelwald. I Will definitely come again.

This hotel feels more “luxurious” compared to the other hotels we’ve been at in Switzerland. The food is great, however in the room our shower wouldn’t drain. The drain was open, but yet while taking a shower the entire tub filled up. We had to wait 15 min for it to finally drain. Then in the morning we had the curtains open because our room faced the mountains and the back of a building with no windows. Some guys climbed the building in front of our room to check something on that roof and were just staring into our room Nice rooms, location, and food.

Wonderful and perfect! Way more beautiful than the pictures! Highly recommend and would definitely return! Friendly staff, delicious food. We stayed for 2 nights. Great view, extremely clean. Great location in center of city. Just perfect!!! Loved it!!

The resort overlooks the Eiger mountains giving each room an amazing view. It is very close to restaurants, supermarkets and the railway station. All interesting tourist attractions are just 5-10min away. We had a wonderful stay at the resort and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Probably the best hotel overall from our Swiss trip after all the cities. The view is great and the restaurant is top notch. The gym surprisingly has the most comprehensive equipment sets across all the hotels we stayed in Switzerland
