What a lovely, cosy, welcoming pub, a gem of a place. We sat by the lovely open fire and had an incredible meal. I ordered the potted pork liver, duck and orange pate, was delicious.
For mains we went for the fish and chips, and individual chicken and mushroom short crust pastry pie with an extra side of veg, to be honest, the extra veg wasn't needed as the portions were very hearty, everything was cooked and presented beautifully and the flavours were sublime. We didn't really have room for dessert but couldn't resist so opted for the chocolate & orange brownie chocolate torte and swapped the orange sorbet for vanilla ice cream, we weren't disappointed.
1 starter, 1 pint of beer, 1 large still water, 2 mains with an extra side of veg and a dessert, £75.00!!! bargain, would highly recommend this lovely pub to all who visit Chipping Camden and the surrounding areas.
