What a lovely bookstore. The staff were very friendly and they had such a great curated selection with a lot of variety. It’s small but they have many books to choose from which was a nice surprise!

Super cute local bookstore in Falmouth with a VERY diverse selection. I found a black horror anthology I hadn't seen in stores before that I've been looking for forever my first time in here. Returned multiple times to browse the great book selections and cute stationary.

The most perfect independent bookshop in the sweetest little town! I stopped here twice during my time on the Cape. It has something for everyone, including a kid’s section with local books.

I really don’t understand the positive reviews on this place. It’s nice, cute but terrible selection of books. I can’t speak for the children’s side but the adult store has an extremely limited selection. It was more like someone’s private selection of books. It was the opposite of diverse. I really don’t get it. I bought a history book there last year but now there is nothing like that on the selves. It’s a VERY small selection.

A must-visit whenever I'm in Falmouth. So popular that they split the books into 2 stores (one for adults and one for kids). The kids' store is always stocked with treasures that you won't get on Amazon or in chain bookstores -- lots of lovely books for all ages and unique gifts like stickers, pencils, stuffies -- you name it. Super fun shopping experience with attentive, friendly staff!

I stumbled upon Three Cousins Bookstore while in Falmouth, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite bookstores anywhere. The space is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully stocked—exactly the kind of place that makes you want to linger. I stopped in for journals and found just what I needed. A special shoutout to Regan, who was behind the counter during my visit. In the span of just a couple of minutes, she shared a bit of the store’s history, told me about their recent expansion, and even mentioned how she personally uses the journals for school. She was so kind, conversational, and genuinely welcoming—her friendliness made my visit memorable. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this gem of a bookstore!

This is one of my two go to bookstores on Cape Cod I like going both here and Market Street Bookshop. I will come here often times when I’m in downtown for events at St. Barnabas and have some time to kill or when I’m at the Falmouth Library. I like the new expansion with more adult focus reading, especially the whole mystery, horror and thriller section. I do like this one, but a lot of times I will end up going to Market Street Bookshop a little bit more especially since New Release Tuesday is also Crown Club Value Day at Regal Cinemas I can stop in there before or after I see the movie. But if I can’t find a book at one shop, I will see if I can find it at the other.

This red brick bookstore has a wide selection in-person and online, along with being cleverly named after a novel by Louisa May Alcott published in 1875.

Hands-down, the best bookshop in America. They have just opened a new adult storefront two doors down as of July 2024. The original location is now just children's books. Great place to buy a gift, amazing selection of stationary, very unusual books.

We loved this little shop! They don't have a huge inventory, but it perfectly fit our need for a new beach read for our vacation. (visited 7/25/22)

What an adorable book store! My son had a ball playing with the toys available in the back corner of the shop and exploring the books and toys available for purchase. The staff were all super friendly, attentive, and really seemed to care about what they were doing. The manager came out to answer a question for me and, again, super nice. It was rather busy, and no one seemed overwhelmed or even slightly annoyed by my stupid questions. There are plenty of book options for adult readers too, which was great. Both my son and I enjoyed spending time in this shop and look forward to coming back!

Not just kids' books! We stopped by this bookstore on a recent visit to Falmouth and it was the perfect place to pick up a beach read for a grownup. They also had a small local interest section and lots of fun little mugs and doo-dads. Even if you don't have a specific book you're looking for, this is a fun bookstore to browse. Also - loved the special "entrance" for Harry Potter lovers!

Today we stopped in at this local bookstore to look for some children's books for our nephew as well as our soon to be born baby. The last time I came to this bookstore was when I was in middle school, but this time around I enjoyed the experience more and loved the selection of books they had. The staff here is incredible! Sarah is a phenomenal support and remembered us from a birthing class we took at Falmouth Hospital. She ended up showing us some interesting books which we had to add to our collection. While here, our family also found a few items they wanted. We walked out with a good amount of books and didn't spend an arm and a leg. In the end, if you live in Falmouth you should support your local bookstore rather than buying off of Amazon. The prices are fairly reasonable and they have a great selection!

If I could give zero stars I would. Very rude staff (2 old Ladies ) . Poor customer service . Go somewhere else.

This is a treasure of a bookstore selling books for children and adults, unique greeting cards as well as a range of paper products that make great gifts. All staff provide friendly, knowledgeable and personal service. They will search for and order you anything you cannot find on their attractive shelves.

Came here to view some books, awesome little place very small business. They had all kinds of categories from family to casual reading, with very reasonable prices. We bought a cool book for the baby nice Halloween themed book which matches his birthday month. Would recommend this place for readers.

Make sure to consult to the staff! I received some great recommendations that I would have never thought of (or found) on my own. If you're looking for a particular children's book, they'll probably have want you want and more.

In search of a stuffed alligator, we tried Eight Cousins yesterday after traipsing to every toy store in the area, and what do you know, they had a selection to choose from! Still helpful and charming and lovely even two days before Christmas :)

Very intuitive employees helped my cousins pick out perfect books to match their tastes and reading levels. Great selection, would recommend for parents searching for good kids books.

fabulous bookstore!!!!!!!!! My favorite on the cape. It is wonderful, with a cozy atmosphere, really, really great people working there with wonderful suggestions to give, both for children's books, nonfiction, and great adult books. I like how you can get Advanced Copy books, or books that haven't come out yet, if you are a teacher. Overall, this is a beautiful, wonderful bookstore I could spend hours in.

Stopped by here while on vacation. Staff was very friendly and was willing to help look up books that weren't on the shelves. Nice selection of adult fiction, I really enjoyed browsing.

Yes, am a big fan. Staff always courteous and knowledgeable. Great selection of standards as well as new material. The 'giving tree', Thanksgiving through Christmas, warms my heart and has become a tradition with the grandsons I still enjoy holding a 'real' book from an independent bookstore and great service. May the "Cousins" continue to thrive.

I love this place! I used to come here all the time as a kid, and am so grateful that it remains, even if it is the only bookstore left in Falmouth. I have heard that they are now carrying adult books, so I hope to check that out sometime soon. Don't know if Carol is still there, but she is great!

The owner of the store was absolutely rude to my kids in a kids store no less. In this "childrens" store where I was prepared to spend nearly a $100 dollars on books, the owner spoke directly to my kids about playing with a toy for too long for the owners liking. Not sure if the owner was having a bad day or if there was some other driver like god forbid race that gave this individual the moxie to speak directly to my kids and not me as the parent. Needless to say, they lost my potential purchase and earned this rating.

I love this bookstore! I grew up in Falmouth, always going here to buy books. Now I go here as an adult and it's still as great as it was almost 20 years ago.
