Perfect by all means. Room was clean, staff super nice and welcoming, a few minutes walk from everything, tours pick-ups come to there.

Cleanliness is great and good air flow in the room. But do note that there are mosquitoes, thus best to close the windows when sleeping. But it doesn't feel stuffy or hot. Shoes are not allowed in the building, there is a cabinet at the entrance of the inn for placement of shoes.Downside is the inn is quite high up, will need to climb slopes to reach the place and getting a taxi at Cameron is very difficult.

Great staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Love the communal sitting area and the free teas. Also had laundry service which was great. Private and quiet location so it’s a bit more of a walk out but not by much. Only thing is the shower gets the whole bathroom wet and the water isn’t very hot. There was also only one type of soup - separate shampoo and body wash would have been nice.

Clean room and bathroom. Good shower. Balcony was a plus. Far enough out the centre to be quiet and just a short 5 minute walk into the centre of town. Only gripe would be there isn’t daily housekeeping, but if you need anything they will happily sort it for you. Oh and Man Utd supporter at front desk. Joking aside he was very polite and helpful. Good WiFi in room. We were on second floor. Very satisfied and would stay again.

Little nice inn up a little hill not too far from the terminal (about 10min). It’s a bit steep at the end so I wouldn’t recommend walking if you have loads of luggage or find it difficult to walk up. Other than that, the place was really cute and quiet. The room was big and it has a small balcony. WiFi worked really well. You can hear the noise in the corridor, hence them having a strict policy on silence. They let you serve yourselves with coffee and tea and have all the cutlery available for you to eat there (with a microwave).

Now where do I start... There were many twists and turns before I finally decided on my stay at Rover's inn. Finally, after booking and cancelling several accommodations , I decided on this one. Upon looking at the pictures and the price, I thought the entire experience of staying here was just going to be so-so. But the entire experience really exceeded my expectations! Upon stepping foot into the hotel, I was greeted by the melody of soft jazz  wafting into the lobby. The owner warmly greeted me with a smile when I arrived at night, and he filled me in on the rules of the place. Maybe it's because I've been staying amongst the hustle and bustle of Singapore for too long - but the quaint, quiet and peaceful surroundings of the hotel felt absolutely refreshing and peaceful.I also really like the fact that the management makes it a point to make sure that noise is reduced to a minimum. The hotel room turned out to be really spacious too, and for the price , it is really quite reasonable. There is a lounge and a cute outdoor dining area for guests to consume their meals. Water, coffee and tea are also provided. In the lounge area, there are also some books that guests can read ☺️I chose the classic - men are from Mars, women are from Venus. On the last day of my stay, Jessie forgot to return me my deposit and she specially called me up to make arrangements so she could return me the money. Really thankful for her honesty. Facilities wise, the only think I would really have wished could be included was a hair dryer! I couldn't find one and I really needed it to dry my hair. But I guess the hotel management would need more income to upgrade their facilities ? For the price, I really can't complain.☺️Another thing is the walls are kinda thin? So sometimes I can hear the other guests in other rooms which kinda disrupts my sleep. Other than that, I'm really satisfied with my entire experience here ♥️☺️☺️

Location is very peaceful away from crowded city. Very near to PPD Cameron. The parking car is first come first serve. Suitable for couple and backpackers. You can rent a bike and the hostel. Overall is very good!

Yelp
There are many better places in Tanah Rata. This one has bad service; very dissatisfied. I stayed here February 2016 in a double with private bath for 4 nights. Building is one level separated into two sections, each with one shared bath and their respective common areas inside, all comfortable and well maintained. There is also a large uncovered patio with good tables and umbrelllas, as well as a happy covered patio with seating convenient for fresh air and chance meetings. They have free tea and coffee, basic kitchen access with common use guest refrigerator, two bread toasters and two rice cookers. Wifi was unusable at least 90% of the 4 days I was there. Service is bad, manager often absent for half hour to an hour at prime times. When I asked if they had laundry service, he said sarcastically, "Yeah, hand wash!" without humor, elaboration or suggestion where I could do it. After I'd paid for 4 nights upon arrival and then asked a bit later in the day to stay one more night, which he assured me after consulting his registry in front of me would not be a problem, instructing me to pay later for the fifth night, he ultimately failed to honor my room reservation for that extra night and claimed not to recall his promise. One guest who'd been there a day or two in the dorm said it well when asked by an incoming lodger, idle during one of the manager's many extended absences, "It's not terrible if you're only staying a night or two."
