Eileen's Trees Inn

The quality of this place exceeded all my expectations. The cottages are beautifully located in a lush garden, and in the mornings you wake up to the sound of birds singing, which creates a truly peaceful atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the food is excellent|After a full day of safari, it was a real pleasure to return here to relax by the pool, and in the evening enjoy the calm ambiance around the fireplace. Photos do not do this place justice. A perfect place to rest and recharge. Highly recommended

Location is beautiful with lots of green. Atmosphere was amazing. Everyone felt welcome and safe. The staff is friendly and great in general. Rooms were spacious and clean. There were not many noises besides the singing of the birds which was beautiful. As for amenities, they were also great. The pool was amazing especially after a long, hot day. The food was delicious. As a welcome, the staff welcomed us with hibiscus tea and warm damp towels to wash off the dust from our faces after safari. Overall it was an amazing experience for us and we had a great time

Feb 3-1 as a part of batch 2 of Matrishv Photography safari we 16 guests spent two nights. I stayed in room Grovella. It’s a large hotel and good food and service. Very polite and all youngsters. Rooms are clean and tidy but no cupboards. Also pedestal fans are sufficient on hot days. Lot of birds present. Few more Indian vegetarian dishes will be welcome. This place is very close to the Ngorongoro gate entrance. Pls e is highly recommended for families and travelers. More plug sockets required for us photographers to charge batteries, phones etc. it’s a good place and very safe too.

We spent one night on the way in to Serengeti and another on the way out in late December 2025. Very comfortable rooms, in a pleasant secure location in Karatu. Peaceful place to recharge and continue with your safari. We had hot water and good internet access in our room. We found the food delicious and the showers with hot water. Staff were always attentive and friendly. We easily recommend Eileen's Tree Inn as a terrific stepping stone along the way to or from Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

It was a wonderfull time for us. Everything was on the highest level, the servis was fantastic. All rooms were very nice and clean and the all area was beautiful and green. The food was very delicious and fresh. I would like to say THANK YOU and See you next time.

The only nice thing is the oasis vibe. However, there is no boxed tissue in the room, the WiFi is weak and not available at all in the room, and they use the bath towels also as bath mattress. The biggest issue was that one staff asked for drinks after checking in, which I thought was part of the welcome treatment given no menu was given and no mention of any charge, so I ordered a tea and it was charged at the checkout. Not nice.

Stayed 2 nights as part of safari and loved our time there. The grounds are beautiful and very secure. The staff are very attentive. The food was always very tasty but never hot. The room was spacious and comfortable with mosquito nets. The water was very hot throughout our stay.

Very nice place to stay although we only stayed for one night during our safari trip. The room we had was spacious, the beds had mosquito nets all around and the beds themselves, whilst firm, were comfortable. Also the food we had was good and you got to select items for your lunch box the following day from a buffet of food after your breakfast buffet. Thank you guys!
