"Einstein's Relative, South Yarra by Blueboat. With one of the most affordable menus in South Yarra, Einstein’s is a perfect café for breaky or lunch. Expect the traditional smashed avo but for something a little different, you’ll find a fusion of Middle Eastern, Asian and Mexican dishes to spark your taste buds. Make a smart choice and pop down to Einstein's Relative."

Really friendly staff, good coffee, and an interesting brunch menu with plenty of middle eastern inspired dishes. Meatball sub was out of this world, with juicy meat, crisp bread, yoghurt and guacamole on the side. The ability to add hash browns just sealed the deal for me!

Incredibly friendly staff. Meals are what you would expect from a decent cafe in South Yarra. Atmosphere is ok but would be improved with some more Zany Einstein stuff

This place is fantastic! Such a creative menu - but not so out there that you'll be confused by what you're eating. Hearty brunch with a twist. Love it! Coffee is also great, and service is wonderful. It's all undercover and can be a bit windy and cold at times... But then again, so is the rest of Melbourne.

Love this place! One of mine and my partners favourite brunch spots! Most friendly staff I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. I'm sure it's the food and coffee that does it, my lord. Get the mamas meatballs if you're hungry and hungover, so damn good.

Great bacon with my eggs. Coffee tasted good bit was a little cold. We also had a bacon and egg sandwich and the relish was a little sweet. I liked it and my wife thought it was ok. It was a quick, pleasant breakfast with friendly service.

Suprised me! Was staying nearby and came here for a quick feed and coffee. Quirky little place with a cool science titbits around. I had an egg and bacon roll and it was simply but very tasty. Don't expect upmarket style here my food was great. It has a tomato relish on it that was great. Coffee was great as well. I had a soy Capp (they use bonsoy) and it was very good. Service was great. Very welcoming and speedy with everything. Whole place was an honest suprise at how good it is.

My boyfriend and I just went here for brunch and we absolutely loved it! We usually get one sweet and one savoury dishes, so we got the açai bowl (which he preferred) and the mushrooms with challah (which I preferred). We liked our dishes so much that we didn't even want to share them with each other! We drank a mixed orange and carrot juice, which was lovely, and a hot chocolate with coconut milk and marshmallows (I really appreciated the fact that they had coconut milk). Staff was very friendly, we almost couldn't finish all the food, the place is comfortable and we paid less than $40 for all this yummy food. We are definitely coming back, multiple times ;)

Yelp
I guess one of the things I liked about this place was the name. I was going to suggest that it was a nice play on words, but honestly, you find that quite often these days. Still, the number of Einstein quotes in here were pretty good. In a way, this place is basically one of those small coffee shops that generally service the business, particularly the businesses where the people aren't all that keen on walking too far to get a decent cup of coffee that doesn't happen to be the powdery stuff in the kitchen. I liked it though, even though there was a limited amount on the menu. However, the staff were friendly, and the tea was also nice.

Yelp
I went with a party of three others and myself. Ordered scrambled toast with mushrooms and avocado. A much delightful arrangement. The sourdough toast is a grain with wheat or rye. And also a challah choice was offered. The acai power bowl also looked scrumptious, and was ordered by another in my party.BUT... I hadn't expected my toast to be so hard... And that's why my rate is at 3stars. Otherwise. The service was joyful! The waitress was a sweetheart! The food tasted great! The 3stars is also for the wait time. Just a bit too long. But it was sunday. And a tad busy.no real lost and i would recommend a second visit when not with three others.

Yelp
Quirky little Cafe perfect for lunch breaks and coffee. Food is full of flavour and large portions for their reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and willing to accommodate special requests as well. Even though it's small inside it's nice and cosy

Yelp
Einstein's Relative has a fresh innovative menu that caters to all diets. I was drawn in by the variety because I am not really an 'eggs and bacon' kind of person. I had the quinoa porridge with almond milk and fresh berries. It was delicious. The portions are very generous, I could't finish mine though I tried. I didn't have a coffee but the fresh orange juice and lemongrass ginger tea were lovely. The service was very friendly. We were asked twice if we were enjoying our meals, which we were :)

Yelp
I've been to Einstein's a couple of times and always have a good experience. The menu has a good variety of slightly different items. I've tried the Haloumi Bruschetta, The Reuben and a lunch time special of Paleo Schnitzel. The Reuben was slightly disappointing, I'm a massive fan of the Dead Man Espresso Reuben and this one just didn't quite live up. The Haloumi Bruschetta on the other hand was delicious. Generous serving and not stingy on the Bruschetta at all. Coffee here is great too! There are a few places around in the same laneway where you can get a takeaway coffee, but this is the best.
