2023-Nov, breakfast There were lots of parking spaces. There was a line in ordering, but it moved quickly. The staff are quick and efficient. It wasn't clear if we could eat inside the facility or not so we just took ours back home.

michael manuele

Google
Placed an uber eats order for the 3rd time and my drink I ordered with my meal didn’t come. How hard is it to make a bag big enough to hold a drink and a bagel? Don’t know if it’s the drivers fault or what but this level of incompetence is brain numbing. These drivers are too incompetent to open their eyes and look for a drink so the least the restaurant could do is just throw it in the bag.

Taylor Douglas

Google
Called less than a minute after placing an uber eats order to request that the sweet bagels in the half dozen box be swapped for plain bagels, was told that it was already made and nothing could be done. Would be great if it could be customized a bit more on the app, not everyone likes sweet bagels and if I buy them separately two costs as much as the half dozen. Annoying.

Google
Great Einstein’s on Broadway & 6th. Staff were nice, good atmosphere, plenty of seating, and nice sandwiches. The Egg and Cheese on a sesame bagel was just as good as always. Worth a stop for breakfast!

Google
We’re from out of town and wanted something quick and easy, and we were very happy with our decision! Troy, the shift manager, was so kind and very personable. GREAT customer service!! The food was fresh and hot, and the restaurant was clean!

Mark McMillan

Google
These bagels are terrible. They're not worth anywhere near the ridiculous price of $2.49 that they charge (some are even more). And they can't even get a simple order right. I ordered only 4 bagels and they gave me 2 of the wrong ones. I'll never go back here again.

Google
The music was a little too loud. Could barely hear what was going on. Other than that the staff was extremely nice. The food was hot and fresh. Plenty of flavor. I had the new "Country and Gravy bagel ". Highly recommend trying.

Alisa Maley

Google
The staff weren't friendly, and they might not have said a single word to me. .very dark and awkward experience. The food is always good though!

Yelp
Friendly service, informative on toppings, the jalapeño bagel is always my favorite Stop by, parking is very accessible too. Food was 7/10 very filling.

Yelp
although the staff is extremely kind and personable here (my reason for the 2 stars), the food and drink quality is horrible. i ordered a chai latte that tasted like spoiled milk and my bagel has only two pathetic slices of tomato on it. store upkeep is clean though.

Yelp
I love this location! Every time I stop by, there is an employee smiling at me and ready to take my order. ALL of the employees are friendly, fast, and helpful. There are smiles all around, and they immediately put me (and my service dog) in a good mood. My bagel egg sandwiches are always made perfectly. I can see the bagel makers listening in as I place my order, and they start making it even before I've had the chance to pay. The person handing me my order is always so happy and kind. The whole crew looks like they enjoy their jobs, and they always have sweet words for my dog. That alone is a huge bonus for me! There is always someone cleaning the floor and keeping things neat. They obviously care about the service they provide, and are genuinely good people. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Went in to grab a pick up order, I'm half deaf and the guy was super rude that I didn't hear him when I went to grab my item off the pick up shelf like more Einstein's allow you to. When "I said sorry I'm half deaf and my bad ear was facing you so didn't hear you" he rolled him eyes.... Rude.

Yelp
I come here frequently and just wanted to give Troy a shout out! He leaves me with a smile on my face every time I place my order. Troy, thanks so much for your positivity and light! Rock on! Oh and the bagels are always delish too!

Emery D.

Yelp
The employee named Isabel at the location by Arapahoe High School is very rude. Everytime I come in to order there is never a smile on her face and she really brings down the mood of my day. She always make me feel unwelcome and being in her presence is a very negative and draining experience. It seems as if she never wishes to be at work and isn't willing to put a smile on her face for customers. Today I witnessed a horrible interaction. An older man came in and stood in the wrong line because he was confused. She then proceeded to say the line was at the other end and the man said "oh". In a very rude manner she then said yeah "do you see a cash register in this line?" The elderly man instant felt uncomfortable and he left. I think the atmosphere at Einstein's would be much more positive and an enjoyable experience if she wasn't there!

Yelp
This is my go to for an easy breakfast sandwich and decent bagels. It's hard to find a good bagel place in Denver so sometimes Einstein does the job. I haven't gotten an order wrong from here yet and it has its own parking lot and curbside pick up which is helpful!
google avatar

Taft B.

Yelp
Came here for the first time. A fly was trapped inside the case with all the bagels. That turned me off as I watched it fly from bagel to bagel... um... no thanks.
google avatar

Yelp
I shouldn't have much expectations for airport food however I've never had an issue with my orders here during past travels through Denver airport. This time I grabbed a sandwich which due to time constraints I didn't open up until I was at my gate about to board with no time to take it back. I ordered the Hummus Veg Out which had zero hummus on the sandwich and was made with Avocado which isn't listed as an ingredient for the sandwich I ordered on the menu. I ordered correctly as I was given a slip of paper with my order written on it to hand to the cashier and I did see the Hummus Veg Out was written on it. Not only was it the wrong sandwich, the bagel was not warmed/toasted at all and was a bit hard and tasted old. This was very disappointing.
google avatar

Andi H.

Yelp
Guys c'mon I said warmed not toasted. I guess that translated to burnt. That doesn't even look good at all. #bummer you can have this back.

Omar B.

Yelp
Ordered two bagels to go - one Nova Lox and one with cream cheese. They didn't put anything into the bagels and just left them plain... it was not busy so not like they were slammed. Threw the bagel away in a nearby trash can and went to Moes across the street

Yelp
Breakfast early Monday morning. I walk into the store & order a Bacon Egg & Cheese with a sauce on a toasted bagel. I LEAVE the store, realize it has Brisket instead of Bacon . I go Back to the store, tell them, & Show them what's wrong. No apology or oops or anything, just this time I Hear the manager telling the other person the order. They make a New one. I leave again without checking & its Wrong Again! This time with Sausage instead of Bacon. I didn't go back, & threw out the sausage. I'm serious about my bacons & these people high key messed up my morning.

Darien R.

Yelp
Complete and total bs that you guys still have your dining rooms closed going on 4 years after Covid. This has to be for staff convenience. $15 bucks for an overpriced bagel breakfast and have to eat outside where god knows what happens on those tables (based on where you are). They don't even have umbrellas for all your tables to protect from the sun and rain?? uhm no. Last time coming here.

Yelp
Yikes, we had an odd experience today at this particular Einstein's location. It was very busy, which was understandable for a Saturday morning, but the employees didn't seem to be working as a team. Before we ordered, I noticed a gentleman, who I believe is one of the managers, talking very firmly with another customer who asked a simple question. When it was our turn to order, I explained to the female cashier that I had a coupon in my app for $7 for 6 bagels and a tub of cream cheese. I gave her my app to scan the coupon and explained that I wanted to use my balance on the app (you can preload a balance), and she scanned my card, but didn't apply my balance. It wasn't worth it, so we just paid with a card. While we were waiting for our bagels, the manager began pointing at me and somewhat yelling at the female employee, saying that she's giving away too many cream cheese tubs for free. He went on for about a minute, pointing at me and yelling at her. He was looking right at me, so I tried to grab his attention to explain that we had a coupon for the bagels and cream cheese. When he handed us our bagels, he aggressively said, "the cream cheese is on us today, but you're going to have to pay for it next time." I explained to him that we had a coupon. He just didn't get it - he thought we were trying to steal a $3 tub of cream cheese. I thought about offering to pay for it, since it was such a big deal, but we just wanted to get out of there. It was such a weird and demeaning experience, we will not be returning to this particular location. The employees are much more respectful at the 6th and Wadsworth location.

Yelp
Pretty standard fare. Service was slow for the number of people in the place. My wife got a buttered bagel that was drowning in butter when it came out. She used s napkin to try and sip some of the butter off the bagel.

Skye Y.

Yelp
I ordered a big catering order from this location recently and was so impressed with their service--with a very specific hand-picked selection of over five dozen bagels and 10 or so cream cheeses, and 5 boxes of a variety of coffees, everything came warm, ready, and packed well so it was easy for me to get it all to our event. The employee (possibly manager, I didn't check!) helped me carry it all out to the car, confirmed everything with me, and told me what was packed in each bag before I left. The food was delicious and there was plenty of sweeteners, creamers, stirrers, cups, lids, napkins etc to make our event successful! Thank y'all so much!!

Yelp
Went in for lunch today and out of everything bagels, jalapeño bagels, six cheese bagels, French toast bagels chocolate chip beagle, cranberry bagels, apple cinnamon bagels, green Chile bagels and cherry hash brown bagels. Both me and two other people ordering had to choose substitute lunches because they didn't have anything in stock.

Yelp
I love Einstein's bagels, truly. What's appalling is the customer service and the management at this location (although it seems to be across the board for many of their locations if you look at the reviews). My experiences in the past have always been disappointing due to a general sense of unhappiness and a lack of commitment by employees. That said, I was still going to try one more time and give them a third chance. This time I was prepared to order 7 breakfast sandwiches to go, plus a baker's dozen of bagels and cream cheese for home. Called on a Friday morning at 6:30am to place the order for the following morning, early Saturday am pickup. I was told to use the catering option so that they can get the order written down in a format and ensure we get what we want. Okay. So, I go online when I get to work but you can only use the catering option for $100 or more. I then download the app on my phone, as suggested on the website, but it is so difficult to use it's frustrating. You can't pick your bagels for the baker's dozen. I couldn't access the sandwiches to make my choices, and had only one sandwich that I could click on. I finally gave up and called the store again. A female answered the phone completely lacking enthusiasm. I told her I wanted to place an order for pickup the following morning, and explained why. "I have to ask my manager. Hold on." I hear her ask him. In the background I hear him say, "Tell her to call back later." She relays the message. My response to her was, "Tell your manager that he just lost my business, and that I will never buy from your company again." It really shouldn't be that hard to get food ordered. This is what you guys do- you make, sell and get money for bagels. It's not too much to ask to get decent customer service alongside a good product, is it? Come on, get it together!

Kate M.

Yelp
I love Einstein bagels but for some reason this location totally cheaps out on the cream cheese. It's like a spread of butter :( Always hoping it's just a bad day but they consistently don't put much cream cheese on. You also can't ask for or pay for extra cream cheese in the app which is annoying.
google avatar

Alexis C.

Yelp
I go here because it is convenient, but the employees don't know the own costs of the items. I always but the Lox bagel, which costs $6.99 without a side, they always charge $7.99 which is the cost of the side. They do it every time that I'm actually tired of correcting them. I'm no longer ordering this there seeing as the price for a lox bagel, which has less lox each time and a small slice of tomato on each side is now $8. Teach your employees what the cost of your food is, and how to make a decent bagel for the price.
google avatar

Michaela R.

Yelp
Compared to other locations, this one leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast bagel I ordered was cold, soggy and overall subpar in quality. The self-serve coffee were all tapped out, with the exception of the hazelnut which was overly sweetened. Note, this was at 11:00am on a Sunday morning; I wasn't trying to score a good breakfast at 5:00pm or anything. I don't except a gourmet experience at Einsteins - it's a quick and easy bagel store that (usually) produces high quality breakfast options. Other Einstein's locations are consistently good but this one fell way short of my expectations.
google avatar

Mallory C.

Yelp
Awesome service, good food and they gave me a free sweet since they were going to be getting rid of them in an hour. I only come here occasionally since it's across from the day spa I go to, but I had a good experience! I can see how it may be different if they are busy but I would go back for sure! I love me some bagel carb goodness! Try the southwest egg white on the Asiago!
google avatar

Tres B.

Yelp
Fresh new location. The layout for ordering food is clumsy and od, but the bagels are very good and fresh. I had a strawberry lemonade and breakfast bagel hot fresh and quick. Warning heavy hobo area approach form the south , the north entrance has hustlers and panhandlers.
google avatar

Elaina H.

Yelp
It's been a bit since we've been here, but the female staff, especially the petite cashier with shoulder length brown hair (in a pony tail), acted as if she/they did not want to be there nor help us. Also, it was 1:15, chairs were up and they seemed to be shutting down, even though they close at 3. I hope the owner sends a mystery shopper in there so they can see who is representing thier establishment. If you don't like working with the public then be a dishwasher or someone that doesn't have to be in the public eye. We will be takimg our $ elsewhere next time.

Clay H.

Yelp
This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. First, no onions can be added to their "fresh" breakfast burrito because it's pre-wrapped. That was just a bummer. Then, they have no wheat Bagels somehow at 6:50 in the morning. Then, they wouldn't give me a cup of water which I offered to pay for, but they have no soda fountain. I said the sink directly to the cashiers left would work but then she declined. I then asked if I could just fill my water bottle, but it's against their policy. you MUST buy the $2.90 bottle of water that actually costs $0.15. this is bull crap - no masks are required anymore and COVID doesn't spread by touching things!! Give me some dang water I just had a 2 hour flight. Also, consider moving your low hanging lights down I watched two people hit their heads.
google avatar

Tosha C.

Yelp
Pretty awful place. I was the only person in line and three employees just stood around waiting for someone else to help me. Getting the sandwich took forever and they didn't seem to know what they were doing. $8 for a pathetic bagel sandwich!! The place is super dirty yet three employees barely doing anything. I certainly will not return to this location.

JB L.

Yelp
Remarkable bad experience. Ordered a bagel, lox, NO CREAM CHEESE. The no cream cheese part of the order was politely repeated twice to the cashier. Order was prepared WITH cream cheese. I went back to the counter, explained nicely that the order was supposed to be prepared without cream cheese. Then, I had to endure loud complaining as one of the food preparers complained aloud (and loudly) about re-doing the order. There's more, but no need to go on. I would suggest that management explain to employees that complaining about customers within earshot of customers is uncool. It will cause customers--like me--to suggest that anyone I know avoid this establishment. And to anyone reading this, I would also suggest taking your business elsewhere.

William C.

Yelp
Staff is efficient and friendly. Lines move quickly and food comes out hot and fresh. But a morning place needs to do coffee right. My cold brew was strong but bitter. Some sugar (which I don't normally use) takes the edge off of it and made it tolerable. French toast bagel with strawberry shmear is fantastic.
google avatar

Courtney H.

Yelp
I decided to try it one last time...big mistake! I asked for Swiss and lightly toasted.....this is what I got.....NEVER AGAIN!! What a joke...
google avatar

Lauren A.

Yelp
Mike and Katrina were sweet and helpful, and I enjoyed our small talk while ordering. The location is very clean and I think I just about *blinked* and BAM my food was ready! You can tell they work as a team because as I was ordering with Mike, Katrina was mopping, then when he went to toast my bagel, she stopped mopping and got my ice tea. All while we were joking around and having a few laughs. 10/10 would go here again. Thanks guys!
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
My supposedly "hot sandwich" was not hot at all. Place was filthy, and it was well after the lunch rush. If you're going to have a kitchen that guests can see into, then I would advise keeping it clean. Nobody wants to see trash and bagels on the floor. And it was like this for the two hours that I was here catching up on work. Manager on duty was working while another employee just sat in a chair behind the register. I would go back to Einstein Bros but would avoid this one.
google avatar

Julia S.

Yelp
Went to this location today, on a holiday (MLK Day), so it was extremely slow. There were 4 people working and one other person actually dining in. Do you know how many clean tables there were? Exactly ZERO. Trash and crumbs everywhere. I wetted a napkin to clean off a spot for myself. I was there for over a half hour, and do you know how many tables were cleaned while I was there? Exactly ZERO. One of the employees actually took her break and read her tablet at one of the dirty tables. They also messed up my order and were out of potato salad on this very "busy" day. I like Einstein's, but will never return to this location based on how gross it was.
google avatar

Jeanne H.

Yelp
I stopped in to buy bagels for my team recently, since we've all been working hard and a little stressed. That evening I realized that my wallet was missing and after retracing my steps, called Einstein's the following morning. Not only had they held my wallet, but they also reached out to me on FB to let me know. I am very grateful to them for their honesty. I'm not a big bagel eater myself, but the next time I want to treat my team, I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Kristen N.

Yelp
Always a ridiculously long wait in the mornings. Negates the delicious bagels if you're getting to work 15 minutes late. Updated: tried this location one more time and the gang banger looking guy making my bagel didn't know which container had garlic herb vs plain cream cheese. Had to drive back to the store and then the owner wasn't even apologetic they got my order wrong. Their customer service is non-existent! Happy to drive out of my way to go to another Einstein's now
google avatar

Allie R.

Yelp
This Einstein is SEVERELY understaffed. Right now I am waiting for my order along with 6 other people. On a Wednesday. Managment should prepare for the morning rush. Very disappointing. Will likely not return.
google avatar

Rob W.

Yelp
The bagels are typically very good here. They toast them the perfect amount and use the right amount of cream cheese. One thing that drives me crazy at this place is they make you order at one cash register and check out at another. This is so very inefficient, especially when it's busy. But when it's slow, it's just silly. I would recommend this place based on food quality but their sales process is a mess.
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Terrible customer service (Corie) and two people working during the busy lunch hour... disorganized and dirty!
google avatar

Stan R.

Yelp
Waited over 15 minutes for an iced coffee and the place was dead. I thought I was on a prank television show. I don't think they forgot my order because they seemed to be working on it the entire time. Was kinda in a hurry, so I eventually just left.

James H.

Yelp
The food at this Einstein is fine, but the people that work here couldn't care less about customers. They are frustrated with you when they're busy; and they ignore you when they are not busy. The location is great and if the employees would try just a little, this would be a great place to go. To bad I won't be coming back.

David R.

Yelp
I really like this place! It is a good half-mile from my house, and it makes for a nice walk. As can be expected it has its good and its bad points. Some things that could be improved: *) Often they run out of decaf or run out of creamer and it can be a while before it is refilled. They can get really busy, so I understand the oversight. One issue is that it isn't clear whom I should notify, and I feel bad bothering people who are making someone else's order. *) The hot sandwiches often are more on the lukewarm side. But the good news is that this is easy to fix! Just ask them to put the meat in the oven for a little longer than normal. Problem solved! Things that I really like about this place: *) The coffee is tasty, unlike S****ucks. To be honest, it seems wrong for Starbucks to even come up in a search for coffee. Their coffee is just awful, awful, awful. Einstein Bros, on the other hand, serves good coffee in general. *) They use a pesto that is OUT OF THIS WORLD----OFF THE HOOK awesome! Who would have thought that a bagel sandwich place would have fantastic pesto??? *) Easy to customize. The staff make it super easy to customize a sandwich, and I appreciate that. It is just a simple, tasty, good meal at a reasonable (for Denver!) price.
google avatar

Doc F.

Yelp
Their food and everything is fine, a bit basic as we all know. Just don't say you're open when you're not. It says everywhere 4pm closing and then when you walk up before that it is closed. Just more of a last resort place if Moes Bagels is too busy down the street.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
They gave me a plain bagel when I asked for everything. I paid for vegetable cream cheese to be added and they forgot it. So frustrating.

Britney A.

Yelp
Barely toasted bagel and almost no cream cheese.. definitely not why I come to Einstein's.
google avatar

Ariel D.

Yelp
Last time I was here it was great! (Roughly 3 weeks ago) I don't come here often, because it's a special treat for me to eat such Carb-y food. However, today I ordered the same thing as usual and got a completely different product. I ordered the tasty turkey sandwich with a cup of fruit on the side. My fruit cup was mostly pineapple, one grape, and one piece of melon that I'm pretty sure was just the rind. So I thought "no big deal it's just the side. Whatever. " but then I opened my sandwich, and there's no pickle! "Hm that's lame", then there's no tomato on the sandwich either! So I just paid over seven dollars for a bagel with turkey lettuce and single slice of cucumber with a side of pineapple. They were not busy, I was greeted immediately and my order was taken and fulfilled quickly. (well no wonder she was barely putting anything in it!) I don't usually care enough to write reviews, but this is such a special thing for me that it was very disappointing to not get my usual to go order. I think the staff was too busy socializing with each other to make my sandwich correctly. If you order from here, please make sure you check your bag before you leave!

Zachary V.

Yelp
Woof, slow Sunday any my order was forgot about immediately while the staff ate food and applied date dots to their products. Employees not even paying attention to their guests.. this isn't my fist bad experience here... Sad because the food is good.
google avatar

Danny S.

Yelp
This place is lame even by Einstein standards. Have been in a few times, they never have more than 2-3 kind of bagels and the place feels gross. Not coming back.
google avatar

Tavorris G.

Yelp
My wife has the same issues against this place. Not friendly at all. They all take your orders like it's a bother. Please do a better job with training your employees at this particular location
google avatar

Lydia S.

Yelp
The food was tasty and the young guy that took our order was very nice. However the large red headed manager who made our order wrong was very rude. We ordered 4 bagels with the same cream cheese on the side so we could have them later. She made them all with the cream cheese on them which isn't what we asked for. We showed the manager what was wrong and she told us we would have to get back in the 20 minute line. (All we needed was 4 plain bagels) we refused to get back in line and she talked under her breath and threw the bagel basket around making a scene correcting our order. She Didn't slice our bagels and didn't even bag them just threw them into our large bag. What a horrible manager. I will never go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Einstein Bros Bagels never seem to disappoint! They are an excellent breakfast brunch palace with delectable choices of fruit, cream cheese, yogurt, bread, pastries, refreshing orange or apple juice, and of course: coffee and bagels. They do, however carry an excellent variety of flavored bagels and dessert. The ideal breakfast bunch had delicious cranberry filled bread pastry with a side of quench able orange juice and a sip of light mocha coffee with a pint of extra sugar. I personally believe every Einstein Bros Bagels are close to perfection, when it comes to serving their customers in need of a wakening fulfilled morning by their scrumptious, menu food items!
