A great spot for freshly made ice cream. The ice cream is great, creamy and tasty. The menu is varied and also has backed goods and meals. They take reservations too. The ice cream cones are takeaway, but there are benches and green areas closer by to enjoy your treat at. The size of the food inside the place is good. The cups are tall and have multiple ice cream balls, with different toppings and fruits. The staff is very friendly and fast. I tried the backed good and I can only say they were delicious. The Apfelkuchen was the best for me. I highly recommend this place.

When the folks there speak nary a word of English, you know it is special. Two cab drivers told me of this place and we went to check it out. ICE cream was nice. But my a1 Hochdeutsch could not save me from trying to decipher the flavours. In the end I just pointed and the gentleman was trying to tell me to choose another flavour but I kept pointing at the same flavour. Doh! I think it was pistachio or caramel.

Good, not great. Worth the visit if you crave ice cream and sundaes. Creations of art. The flavor is good. Deduct a star because they don't use real whipping cream for their whipped cream, milkshake was not good. It was milk added with the ice cream and just became a milky drink. Hit chocolate had a closer resemblance to milk. Needed more real chocolate but not the worst I've ever had and not a taste of water. Improve on that and I would rate 5 stars.

Google
Best tasting ice cream!!! If you ever need a 5 place, it's perfect! 1.80€ for a cone.. I would always get the cherry, and it hit the spot!

Google
Exceptional ice cream in the most innovative flavours ! There is always a queue in front of the shop, testament to its enduring popularity. The available flavours are displayed on a wall as you enter the shop (in German only) but the shop keepers all speak English. What a boon on a warm day. Recommend to bring your bounty to the nearby square and relax under the shade while children frolic in the fountain nearby.

Google
The best ice cream in munich:) I would like to recommend the Buttermilch Mango Ice cream. It’s really soft and delicious. In summer there were so many people waiting in the line for ice cream here. I don’t know until when people can eat the ice cream in this year. Normally it is closed in winter.

Always a good choice for some ice cream 😍 varieties of flavours available. Usually little crowded, but also one of the best and most traditional stops for ice cream in Munich.

Sarcletti serves very good gelato in the traditional Italian style. The chocolate "Nero" is super dark and almost bitter, like one would hope for, and the "Snickers" is a solid take on what amounts to peanut butter. The mango and raspberry we're both very good (and vegan), but maybe a bit strong. I was also a fan of the cherry that I had on a prior visit - it was very good. All around good stuff in a good location. It's no shock that the place is very popular.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place after having dinner. seems to be a very popular spot as there was a small crowd and line this evening. They have a wide assortment of ice creams and frozen yogurt flavors. I was also happy to see waffle cones. I ended up choosing a chocolate chip flavor and it was very good. staff were also pleasant.

Yelp
So many great choices. And right off the rotkreutz transit stop. Get the dark chocolate with the flakes. Also the tartufo... or the amareno... ok get it all. Such teeny little scoops but ugh, that's what happens in Europe. I forget! I heard it's one of the better places to go in Munich and it just so happens to be the stop I get off at every night while I'm here. Woohoo!

Yelp
This is a lovely ice cream house but the salesman cannot speak English and kind of rude to us. They do not accept credit card unless you spend over 10 euroes. The other saleswoman is friendly and helped us. My friend ordered the flavor of pistachio nuts but it is kind of salty because it is mixed with sea salt. It is OK but not great. I tasted better one in Switzerland. And what I ordered is just normal. A little disappointed of the "best" ice cream in Munich.

Yelp
Yummy ice cream!!! The line was long but it moved really fast. And it was worth it. So hard to decided but I had ginger and double coffee! Yummy.

Yelp
I am slightly addicted to ice cream. Or gelato. Or anything remotely creamy & sweet that comes from a cow. I guess that I was thinking about apfelstrudel and not dairy treats for our trip to Munich, but I just happened to spot Eiscafe Sarcletti in my guidebook when attempting to find somewhere to have a non-beer drink after dinner. So we did ice cream instead. It's the best ice cream I've ever had in Europe. And 800 times better than the junk I had in Florence last year. A bazillon flavor (okay, maybe like 30, really) at less than a euro a scoop. We each had a scoop, devoured it ridiculously quickly and then walked back inside with guilty looks to purchase second cones. And then we went back the next day. Stracciatella, Vanilla, Mint Chocolate Chip, Strawberry, Campari, and some weird fruit flavor that we never figured out what it was. But it was just plain good. They do have fancy sundaes and bakery treats, but just get a scoop (or 3) and enjoy. We did have a bit of trouble finding it, but only because there was a lot of scaffolding in the way when we came from from the Ubahn.

Yelp
The ice cream here is good, but certainly not the mind-bending experience I had been told to expect. I tried pistachio, "rumkrokant" (rum crisp?), and black forest cherry. All left something to be desired. But maybe it was just my mood. They are open later than the nearby Conditorei, are located right next to the bus stop, and it's only €1 per scoop, so those are plusses. I look forward to trying their competition, but I'll also come here again. Some of their flavours look positively outlandish.

Yelp
Ice Cream is great. But Service(((. Today my daughter did a order by mistake with chocolate ice , but when we explain to man, that she has a allergy for milch, he's answer was: well, your mistake. And didn't change a ice...so sad, and so not Italian. It was so expensive just a gave a new ice to kid????

Yelp
Amazingly good ice-cream, even in a minus two month of March! Tried Strawberry, Butterscotch and Tiramisu which all left a lasting impression of deliciousness, the flavours are the real thing, i.e. not added flavours!! and it all tastes fresh not fatty. Get the U-Bahn number 1 or 7 to Rotkreuzplatz, take a left as you exit and you'll see Sarcletti diagnolly across the road. No queues at this time of year, just great ice-cream, fantastic Italian coffee and friendly service. There's hot meals too if you want them.

Yelp
Owner was quite rude. He would not give a sample for my son to try the ice cream, only me. After insisting on a sample for my son, he mumbled something in German and laughed. He also refuses to speak English. Ice cream is of poor quality. He also serves Germans before Americans.

Yelp
A friend of mine from Munich, recommend that since my little sister was having a hard time with German cuisine that we should take her to Sarcletti's as a break. This is some of the best ice cream/gelatto I have ever had. I am allergic to chocolate so, it is sometimes difficult for me to have anything other vanilla. Not so at Sarcletti's, it had numerous non-chocolate flavors. I had a nut assortment and a rum flavor, and both were delicious. I mentioned to the girl at the counter that I was allergic to chocolate and she reassured me that both flavors had no chocolate. She said she was allergic to chocolate, so she understood my hesitation about flavors. My favorite gelatto in the world is San Crispini in Rome and Sarcletti's is definitely my second favorite ice cream place.

Yelp
This place is a favorite for my boyfriend and me. It's open til late and they always have a bunch of new and original flavors to try. Plus 1 scoop is 1 euro- you can't really beat that! I love the mint chocolate & the cherry chocolate. I try to go for something new each time. The people who work here are very friendly and can speak English. Come by after dinner for a little treat :-)

Yelp
A lot of choice, nice people, nice location. Just. you could take any one without looking: they all taste the same

Kels E.

Yelp
Very average ice cream. I find some of the flavours rather artificial tasting, not my favourite in Munich by any means but probably the best in the Rotkreuzplatz neighbourhood thus they are always busy with people who live in the area.

Paul P.

Yelp
Good ice cream in the area, there is a wide selection but the queue is always long and the staff serving are not exactly friendly. The ice cream is alright but I have definitely had better
