Ekaa Villa, Agra, India - Explore & Book

"Boy, have we waited a long time for a place like this to open its doors in Agra. Claiming to be the city’s first and only boutique hotel, this 13-room gem is discreetly hidden in an unassuming residential neighborhood within walking distance of the Taj Mahal. Owners Udit, Vasu and Abid created it as an ode to the city they love, incorporating Agra's character and flavour within its walls. The result is a comfortable base with the warmest of welcomes, plus top-notch service and fantastic homecooked food.Agra can be a hard nut to crack. Most tourists dip in and out, here to see its star attraction before scooting off somewhere else, but they’re missing a trick. Dig deeper and you’ll discover that the city’s culture is shaped not just by its architecture but its history, handicrafts and food too, so take time to linger. India and all its complicated splendour are here to view. And the staff are here to guide you. They are passionate about helping guests peel back the layers to reveal a side to Agra beyond the postcard views. Join bespoke tours to hidden pockets of the city you won’t find in the guidebooks, or unearth foodie treasures that only the locals know of. You might come to Ekaa Villa in search of the Taj but you'll leave remembering the outstanding hospitality. Highs A boutique hotel within 20 minutes’ walk of the Taj Mahal – a rare find!Staff go beyond the call of duty, brimming with helpful tips and infoBespoke experiences and guided tours offer the chance to discover Agra’s authentic sideWe hear the home cooking is outstanding, especially when served with their frequent live traditional musicRooms are extremely affordable Lows The rooms are traditional in style, and they lack mod cons like TVs - but there is A/CAside from the excellent restaurant, the hotel has little in the way of facilitiesIt can get uncomfortably hot in Agra during the summer months (Mar-May) when temperatures can reach 45CAll the food is vegetarian, but judging by the rave reviews, we doubt meat eaters will feel short-changed" - Handpicked by our hotel experts

I would like to put the highest opinion about this place. First of all, it’s all about people. Staff is very friendly, polite and nice. Manager wrote to us before check in and explained all important information. Although we arrived late, they met us and provided all necessary information ( we got complementary from the hotel and it was so nice 😊) Then, the food -I had the best breakfast in India here! It was so tasty and big, that it worth to pay and take it! Also, the chef is such a nice person with good energy. Then rooms- big, cozy, very clean with all necessary things. The smell is very nice in rooms, so I don’t know why some people complain about it😅 The decor of the hotel I very beautiful and authentic. All details are very beautiful and nice. And the last thing, the beauty of this hotel- dog 🐶 she is such a nice and cute lady, that it is hard to not fall in love with her My rate is 11/10 Thank you for your nice and quiet oasis ☺️we were happy to stay here and I’ll definitely would recommend you to all my friends P.S. location is very good, few minutes from Taj, but also in a quite and clean street with plenty of plants ☺️

Ekaa is one of the best hotels i stayed in India. The rooms are cozy, beautifully and thoughtfully arranged and very clean. Entire hotel is environment friendly. Ekaa employees are super friendly and very professional at the same time. The restaurant has amazing local and international food options. I am hoping to go back to Agra and if I do, i will stay at Ekaa again without any doubts. Thank you so much, Ekaa, for providing a wonderful experience for us.

We recently stayed at Ekaa Hotel, recommended by a friend, aiming to be close to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Ekaa surpassed our expectations. The hotel and our room were thoughtfully designed with local artwork and had all the amenities we needed. Food is central to our travels, and the restaurant, focusing on local vegetarian cuisine, was a highlight. The thali dinner was among the top meals of our India trip, and breakfast was great as well. The staff was great and made us feel welcome. They also had a great gift shop that we ended up buying a few items. We had a great stay!

Eka is tucked away in a quiet lane off Agra's busiest street. Everything is within 15 minutes - from the Taj Mahal to local Bazaar. Every corner of this beautiful boutique hotel is thoughtful. There are cozy nooks in the lush garden, warm reception, delightful restaurant and in the cozy room we stayed in. A special shout out the staff who are happy to chat and make recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay here and can't recommend it highly enough for being safe, clean and absolutely gorgeous.

This small hotel is perfectly situated to visit the Taj Mahal . We stayed in a queen room (11) which did not have an outside window but was adequate for 2 nights. There was some noise from the central light well which I think was from the kitchen below but that stopped after 9pm. The food was excellent and some of the best we had during our holiday. They even provided a cake for my wife’s birthday which was a nice touch.

Excellent eco hotel. Tucked away from the main road. Lovely rooms with filter coffee via a French press. Arrived early so room wasn’t ready. Went to Agra fort. Back for checkin and lunch. Stuffed parathas. Left for afternoon visit to Taj Mahal. So beautiful. Dinner was amazing. Vegetarian thali. Lots of food. Comfortable night. Enjoyed breakfast after sunrise at the Taj. Left to go to sloth bear sanctuary.

I would never think to stay somewhere else in Agra. This hotel is perfect. The rooms are wonderful, the hotel kitchen serves amazing food, and the staff are the most helpful. They work with the best local guides for their custom Beyond the Taj experiences and with guides for the Taj itself. They could not have made my time in Agra easier or more fulfilling.
