One of the biggest surprises i had when i visited Osaka. This store is under the station and is by far one of the best markets I've seen. A lot of chic products, beautiful and delicious pastries, but of course a lot of people. Although it was a good experience. Prices are a bit high, so be aware.

One lovely food hall that houses plenty of restaurants and groceries in the center of the Kyoto Station. Convenient for travellers and locals that is in the rush hour to catch their meals. Plenty of choices are available but he aware of the huge crowds in the peak hours. Get prepared to queue for their food, most payment modes are supported, including cards. Came to a store named beef steak restaurants at location R11, recommended their fried beef fillet, one that you won't missed by looking at their menu , crunchy from the outside and tenderly juicy from the inside. Worth every penny

If you can’t find salad stores at Osaka station, come to Eki Marche, connected to the station, the supermarket is nice, a salad store which I ate for a few days at their common sitting area. All stores will heat up food that you purchase at your wish. Quick, tasty, clean and inexpensive.

Pie face is an Australian meat pie shop. There are also fruit tarts available. Very delicious. Easy access from the central gates at Osaka station.

Google
a very big supermarket on the basement floor, lots of food and drink can be found, the dessert and sushi are very nice, many bakeries are located there too. Japan is very famous for cheesecake and Crème Brûlée, the quality is very good with reasonable price

Yelp
So yummy! I got some hojicha latte drink here. It was the best hojicha I had all trip! Granted, I didn't find much hojicha to begin with.... The wait wasn't very long, but if you want a table you have to say for here. We ordered to go and promptly was told we couldn't sit at a table. Had I known this, I would've just said for here. Pretty reasonably priced for what seemed like quality hojicha.

Yelp
For a wonderful Mach's treat, Tsujiri Eli Marche Osaka has some great items to chose from. Mach's soft serve ice cream, drinks and cake are a few of the choices. Located in the Shin-Osaka Station. The staff is amazing, very nice and accurate! The line moves quickly and the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
This is a nice and classy green tea products shop housed on 2F of the Shin-Osaka station. They offer enticing and fresh and tasty green tea soft serve. A waffle cone with their soft serve goes for a reasonable 495 yen or $3.78. They also sell other green tea products and we bought a box of some green tea mochi-like dumpling shaped edibles. These were unique treats as well as super-fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I still remember my first Tsujiri experience. I had the place bookmarked down and went inside a fancy mall in Taipei to get it so of course I had to introduce my brother to his first experience as well. We missed it while we were in Tokyo because we arrived just as the shop was closing and apparently their last call was actually 30 minutes before closing time so it was unfortunate that we missed it but it was great to know that there was one in Osaka that we could go to. My brother ordered right away (since I've been raving about it) and surprisingly the store wasn't that busy when we went on the weekend, or perhaps everyone was more focused on getting real food at the place since there were line ups at all restaurants. Anyways, safe to say it did not disappoint and the matcha flavours are as amazing as the first time around. Super pumped that they're opening one in Vancouver this summer as well! Hopefully, it'll live up to the franchise name otherwise, you can bet that we'll be travelling again to get our hands on some more! If you haven't tried Tsujiri, highly recommend that you try it since they've got many franchises around the world. Once you go matcha, you can't go back!

Yelp
It's later in the evening, and I'm in my hotel room at the train station. I'm craving something sweet, so I decided to wander down Eki Marche, which is a lovely shopping area at the station. I realized that I wanted some ice cream, which is most always the case, but something different. Definitely matcha soft serve solved that problem. This kiosk is tiny and in the middle of the market portion of the shopping area (there are restaurants too). It's a little pricey (around 500 yen) for a soft serve, but it's in a waffle cone, and the ice cream is worth it. The soft serve is at the right temperature. The texture is smooth and the matcha is not powdery. There is a strong matcha flavor, so they don't skimp. The little chocolate accompaniment was a nice touch. Service...well, it's Japan, so what do you think?

Yelp
never get's old; this one is in the Eki Marche back food area next to oven lab and tea 18. soft serve waffle cone with red bean and mochi. can't go wrong with the strong matcha flavor.
