Stopped at the Ekotree Cashmere and Visitor Centre on our trip October 2025. Owners were very welcoming and explained their process of knitting machine sweaters with no seams. Ended up purchasing a gorgeous sweater for myself. Such a treat. The quality, the feel and comfort and richness of the stitches are just amazing! Thank you for a truly remarkable experience.

Ekotree knitwear studio in Doolin, Co Clare create the most stunning, high quality, contemporary cashmere knit sweaters I’ve found. I’ve already, over the years, bought a few of their items. I’m planning on buying a new sweater in one of their new designs and another of the travel wraps this year (everyone in my family squabbles over who gets to use this and my snoods also from Ekotree). They actually make the garments in the studio, and can chat to you about the process, I really appreciated the help choosing a style and colour that suited me and il looking forward to my next purchase.

We stopped at Ekotree on our trip along the Wild Atlantic Way and it was such a treat! They had a great selection of sweaters, wraps, hats, and more. I ended up buying a beautiful merino wool sweater and cashmere mittens, both are super comfortable and unbelievably soft 😌 What made the experience even more special was the owner, who took the time to tell us about the knitting process (3D knit - no seams!), show us the shop, and even share some recommendations for our next stop in Galway. Highly highly recommend!

Great atmosphere in the studio and everything is made here. Easy place to buy gifts that anyone would love. Still wearing the lovely hat I got there!

I visited this place, and I was really impressed. The staff are very friendly, the products are of excellent quality, and the service is great. Everything was perfect, and you can really see that the company Ekotree stands for quality and care for people and the environment.

Wonderful garments and accessories it's a shame about the man who spoke to me seeing I was on my cycle he said " cyclists don't buy from here " and walked off out of sight and left me in the shop with my wife . Word of advise .. don't judge a book by its cover!!

I want everything in this place. The owner was super fascinating and generous with sharing the philosophy and practices of the company. I could have stayed a lot longer and spent a lot more here. Very grateful!
