Such an interesting place. The food was good but far more interesting was the interiors. It is a gallery and a restaurant. There are seating areas inside rooms with painting and fixtures. Obviously, the food 🥘 taste is also important: seasoning was perfect and spiciness just right. Also the menu is fairly diverse, I saw people ordering burgers 🍔. Dessert has tiramisu.

When Masala y Maiz across the street was full, we ventured in here. It’s a beautifully decorated Thai restaurant with excellent service. The upper floor has private rooms which was nice. The food was good! The green curry with chicken is more like soup and cake with so many veggies, but it was good! The Thai ice tea was unsweetened but refreshing.

The place doesn’t look like a big restaurant from the outside—don’t be fooled, step in and be amazed. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. The food had a slightly unusual taste compared to what I expected, perhaps due to my lack of experience with Thai cuisine, but my choices were quite enjoyable for my palate. The customer service is very friendly—I didn’t hesitate for a moment to leave them a tip. I just recommend not sitting at the entrance, as people come and go frequently depending on the time. Try to find seats inside, away from the main door.

This place is excellent. Ideal to prove new dishes. Pad Thai and Yakimeshi had excellent flavors. I recommend you!

Google
Restaurant and art gallery in the historic center of Mexico City. This was a great find, the vibe is chilled. I recommend ordering to share, for appetizers get the spring rolls with shrimp and the Tom Yam soup. As an entree we got the chicken that comes with salad and rice. The mango ice cream dessert was delicious. Great for groups. Prices are fair.

Google
A lovely Thai restaurant with lots of green, live trees surrounding the tables. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. The food was great. We ordered a lamb dish. The meat had wonderful fla5, seasoned just right. I wish it was a little more on the medium rare side, but it was still good. The Green Curry was fantastic. Exact flavor as expected from this dish. I love Thai food and cook it at home often, so I can get pretty critical sometimes :) Rice and salad that accompanied both dishes were tasty, the rice perfectly cooked and the veggies very fresh. We also tried their maracuyá drink, which was delicious and crepa for desert. I was not sure what to expect with crepa, and thought it would be a regular crepe with fruit. In reality, it turned out to be a layered crepe cake, with light cream between the layers topped with strawberry and chocolate. It was scrumptious. Would love to come back and try more dishes!

Google
Staff was excellent, ambiance was good, the art gallery concept was excellent, but sadly, the food was not. I don’t just mean it wasn’t authentic Thai food. I mean, it was not good food. If you are there for the experience, great. Just dial your expectations for the food down super low, and you may still be able to have a great experience.

Yelp
LOVE this place! Sketchy little block, but a great little restaurant. Good service, excellent food and a nice atmosphere. I loved eating the edamame (not spicy) and the fried rice. So delish when you (seriously) need a break from tacos.

Yelp
Great little hip spot that doubles as an art gallery upstairs. Parking Street parking a couple blocks down! Interiors of this place are stunning, they have rooms upstairs for dining as well as semi outdoor seating. There are beautiful art pieces and art magazines strewn across the rooms, and each room has its own decor and distinct style. Food Overall, I would give the food a 4.5/5 because the Thai food was a bit on the sweeter side and I didn't enjoy it much, but a couple of things stood out (tostada, crepes) etc The chicken karage is delicious and it reminded me a lot of calamari, it was breaded like calamari and tasted light and toasty. Would definitely order this again. The sauces that comes with this dish are sooo spicy. I ordered the mixed seafood tostada and this was honestly my favorite thing that I ate tonight. There was a layer of romaine lettuce just covered with grilled shrimp and octopus and topped with cheese. The Pad Thai was solid, I really liked the thickness of the noodles, although it was a bit sweeter than average I believe. The tom kuh soho was tasty, filled with bell peppers onions and carrots. A hearty option for a vegetable lover. I ordered the katsu bowl and wasn't thrilled with it, hence the four stars. Drinks The Jamaica with rosemary is just ever so bubbly, very light but unsweetened so a bit bitter. I noticed in a lot of restaurants they do not sweeten their fruity drinks. Dessert The thousand layer Crepe was amazing. 10/10 I would definitely order again, truly to die for.

Yelp
me my sister and my mom were walking in the art market six blocks away from here. my sister was in a bad mood and my mom wanted to change that, so we took the six block walk from the art market to articulo 123 and we walk in and were immediately given a seat. in the beginning they gave us a fork and chopsticks and 2 menus . we looked at the menu and saw a couple of my favorites pad see ew and pad Thai . i went with the pad see ew. we also ordered the edamame which was doused in a sweet sauce that was slightly addicting . my mom got the curry with vegetables, the curry was right of the oven and it was delicious. the pad see ew was very good, the glass noodles were cooked to perfection and the chicken had a sweet Korean sauce on it.

Yelp
So hubby and I were in MC going to the craft market and needed a spot of lunch. He found this place on Yelp and oh my, what a hidden gem!! We had the spring rolls with shrimp, green curry with shrimp and the Thai chicken. Everything was presented in a stunning fashion and was absolutely delicious! We ate upstairs near an open window with a fun mural to gaze at. Our waitress was lovely and spoke some English, a gentleman came upstairs also to see if we liked the food, we think he was the chef. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, especially if you'd already had your fill of Mexican food. We lived in Asia for 14 years so know about what good food from that region should taste like. Hubby used google translator on Chrome to translate the Spanish menu to English and that worked great. This place will NOT disappoint!

Yelp
Great quaint hidden gem. Delicious creative Thai food with slight Mexican twist. The ginger soda a must, the rices and noodles were stellar. Service was attentive and efficient. Amazing value.

Yelp
If you want a break from all the tacos and chilaquiles, this little cafe hidden in an alley not too far from La Ciudadela (the artisan market). First, I would say don't go with the expectation of authentic Asian flavors. Everything was just a little bit off. The pad see ew was way too salty and sweet, and the lime juice was too generous in the shrimp salad. All the chicken in all the noodle dishes kinda just taste like chicken teriyaki. The shrimp tostados were delicious though, and I loved the ginger soda, made with real ginger! Portions were small, and prices were not cheap by local standards. A noodle dish + appetizer was the perfect size for me though. Most of all I liked the ambience of the place. It's a narrow restaurant + cafe with just a few tables, artfully decorated and filled with potted plants around the walls and cute vases filled with flowers. If you have some time, explore the upstairs gallery to check out some local artists, and a small but tasteful gift shop is located at the very end. I wouldn't go here just for the food, but it was a great place to take a little break from all the tourist activities!

Yelp
Excellent experience. Articulo 123 is not just a restaurant, but an experience in this two level historic building, with the upstairs featuring private rooms for small or large tables and charming eclectic music. I had the Pad Thai on the waiter's recommendation and it was a good choice. I enjoyed my little lunch escape from the late afternoon showers.

Yelp
How I came about this place is hard to define in a few lines. Although the area is not the nicest, and by far not at all touristy, it is highly recommendable. It's an amazing place and the prices are not bad at all. The artisanal sodas are a must and for an extra pesos (about a dollar) you can get a refill. I highly recommend the spring rolls, the pad thai is excellent too. Everything is very good quality and fresh. So, if you're in the area and in the mood for a very good Asian bite, do visit this place.

Yelp
What a cute/hip little spot tucked in a pretty industrial looking area in Mexico City. While the Thai food is nothing close to being "Authentic" it is made with a lot of care and attention that makes it very good to satisfy your Thai craving while in the City. We tried the Red and Green curry, both were quiet creamy and tasty but lacked the "Kick" that we find in typical Thai dishes. The One dish that absolutely blew me away was the "Karage" Fried chicken appetizer. This thing was so good that I ordered another after finishing up my entree. The Chicken is moist, the dough is not too intense but still crispy and flavorful and the spicy relish they serve with it just makes it amazing. The Pepper relish looks like a mix of local peppers such as jalapeno/habanero and citrus. Honestly, I could eat a bucket full of these things any day.

Yelp
I love this place, not only is the food delicious, the service is fantastic. I mistakenly left my credit card here, and the gentleman that works there tracked me down via FB messenger. Brilliant and kind! I mean who does that stuff anymore? I will continue to come back, again, and again! It's a super cute cafe. Makes me feel like I'm back in San Francisco. I can't speak for the Thai food, because I stuck to the traditional Mexican breakfast every time I went there. Coffee is delicious as well!

Yelp
Everything about this place was perfect! Beautiful industrial space with fast, friendly service. I ordered the bo bun - a bowl of mouth-watering, aromatic herbs atop a mountain of perfectly cooked rice noodles, fresh vegetables, and egg rolls. Couldn't ask for more on our last day in Mexico City!

Yelp
Delicious food, excellent service, wonderful ambiance. I would absolutely be a regular if I lived here. Many vegetarian options, tasty coffee and cocktails. Highly recommended.

Yelp
It's hard to write an unbiased review of a restaurant that has saved your life, so stop reading if you want an objective opinion. This restaurant saved me and my novias life last night, providing an inverse experience to the night before: a sleepless gunshot filled night on the michioacan border. Not only was the food fresh and tasty and world-class, the atmosphere was arty and cool -- much more palais de tokyo than knights of Templar. Faith in humanity restored! Back to the food: I have lived in Thailand and know good Thai food- this was great Thai food. The pad Thai was outstanding. We went there hoping to, at most, have a break from lard based Mexican food, and we got that and much much more. We made friends there and enjoyed the collection of zines they have. A five star experience. Go there.

Yelp
A great, hip and cool concept for a restaurant! It is a fusion place, which I try to stay away from (mainly because they are very often confusion restaurants), but I decided to give this place a try! The pad see ew and bo bahn were amazing - clean, fresh and flavorful. As an appetizer, we decided on karaage, and it was very juicy and tasty, but not the standard, breaded karaage you usually get. A very pleasant surprise was the lemonade! It was super yum and (surprisingly) not sweet!
google avatar

Yelp
Very cosy place! Love the atmosphere :-) Great to read a book and enjoy coffee and something sweet or, when you need a little more, order one of the Thai dishes which are yummy. The staff is very friendly!

Yelp
This was an interesting find. Upstairs was an art gallery, and the artist was in the house. Downstairs was an eclectic collection of furniture. There was a picnic table and old time kitchen in one room with a board for drinks, while we sat down near the metal stairs to dine in. Music is pretty loud. Sometimes you have to yell to hear a person across. The food was subpar. The fried fish tasted freezer burnt and old. The Tom Yum soup was ok, but about 80% onion. It had 2 chilli peppers next to it, and wow was it spicy. It was one of the spiciest things I have very eaten, and I'm South Asian. The presentation of the dishes was pretty. Almost every dish got a side of salad, which was nice, but there was no dressing at all. It's a cool place to come for just to experience the ambience, but a little pricey for the quality of food if you're traveling. It is in the city center, so maybe that's why prices are higher. I really want to give more stars because it was a memorable experience, but food just wasn't up to the fusion thai standard I have eaten many cheaper places. Maybe use more lemongrass?

Yelp
Great neighborhood eatery for breakfast or light fare. Look for the heavy oak Colonial doors. Limited menu. Excellent locally sourced coffee. Small gallery on upper floor. Unfortunately, food service is perplexingly suspended from around 10am to 2pm, during which time coffee, drinks, and pastries might be available. Pleasant atrium ambiance. Quiet street only a couple blocks east of Paseo de la Reforma and a couple blocks south of Avenida Juárez. Best to stick to traditional Mexican dishes which are well prepared and avoid the attempts at European (eg the Croque Monsieur was lifeless).

Yelp
I order delivery every night, and I consider the delivery from 123 Comida Tienda to be the tiniest portions compared to all establishments in the city. The amount of rice was not more than half a cup for Muy Thai and Pollo Thai. We had to make sure on whether we didn't order a happy meal (for a bill of close to 600 pesos). Stay away from their delivery service.

Yelp
This place has a cool vibe and nice service. Nice change from Mexican. It's decent thai food for sure just not great. I would probably go back bc it was nice enough! If they improve the food it could be great!

Yelp
This place is really fantastic! I have been working in Mexico on and off for a while. This was one of the few places I could eat without getting ill. The sopa del dia is always fantastic! And the pad thai is delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Add to that this place has great energy. I work hard and this place was my little oasis for recharging during my lunch break. Lots of positive energy! Make sure to order one of their fantastic homemade sodas or delicious coffees drinks! Hands down my favorite little spot in the D.F.! This place is fantastico!!

Yelp
I surprising mix of Thai and Japanese food, I saw all the reviews and being oriental and all I thought I better see how it stands out. the dishes I chose where not my normal dish which I use as a datum to compare, however the calamari Thai salad was pretty good. It's a lovely venue and worth the visit

Yelp
Leaving the rough neighborhood outside to enter the cloth entrance made me feel like one of the children in C.S. Lewis' Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. But the food did not keep up with that magical entrance. Honestly, the pork in my spring roll tasted rotten. But the shrimp I had was decent, although you have to claw your way through the outside as it isn't shelled.

Jade X.

Yelp
Cute setting but overpriced for quality of food. Ordered ribeye (220 pesos) and could tell that it wasn't grilled by a proper cook. Wait staff was nice though.

Yelp
Food is 5 but service is 1. We came on a really cold night and since it's a fully open restaurant, it was too cold inside. If it was warmed, the ambiance would have been perfect. The furniture is really cute, there is displayed art which is very pretty and the music is great. We were literally the only 2 people in the entire restaurant and there were 7 people on staff. It took 10 minutes for someone to come get our order. The guy who came was very pleasant though. We ordered soup, an appetizer and 2 main dishes. It took almost 20 minutes for us to receive our broth soup. When we got it, it was very cold. So we sent it back. It came back 2 minutes later. It was warmer but still not great. Then the appetizer came 1 minute later. It was the Karage and it was delicious. Then our main dishes came 3 minutes after that and we got the Pad See Ew with pork and Pad Woon Sen with shrimp. They were both delicious. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion size. We had a lot of food to take home with us.The servers were all nice people but they were just so busy hanging out that my boyfriend never had a chance to order a drink with his meal because they never came back

Yelp
I'm a big fan of this place, although it's not the Real Thing Thai. The menu is weirdly lacking in identity - there's a very French breakfast side, which switches to try-hard Thai, with a few cooked Japanese lunch staples. None of them are particularly 'authentic,' but they are tasty. Service is really friendly, and I have an enormous crush on the hipster waitress. Avoid the rice noodles, which they don't know how to cook. The mung-bean noodles (pad woon sen) are better, and better yet are the fish cakes.

Stephen L.

Yelp
What a find in Central Mexico City! First of all the Thai food is excellent. (I had a very fresh and delicious vegetarian Pad Tai). Great pastries and coffee too. Second, this is a hip place. It feels like maybe you are Mexico City's version of a hangout in Brooklyn or Berlin. There are special rooms on the second floor with some amazing cool art. The place feels loved and lived in by artists, poets and food lovers. Third, the people are incredibly nice. (I left my bag there and one of the people in the restaurant ran after me for three blocks to make sure I got it!)

Yelp
I came here with 4 friends, love it! We each had something different. I had the Muy Thai, it's fantastic. If you get the chance, go ahead and hot this place up.

Yelp
Their hours on Yelp say open till 9pm. Showed up at 8:20pm on December 29. Busy tourist week. Many tables there has diners. But the host refused to seat us because they were hoping to close soon. Big disappointment. Had walked 25 minutes to get there.

Yelp
Simply the best Thaï meal I have eaten outside of Southeast Asia, at an extremely reasonable price. The ambiance is relaxed, and the decor is quaint but welcoming.
