The olive oil was great and multigrain bread were great! We had three staff serve us. - and depending on who it was, the service felt different. The rest of the food we had were so/so - the artichokes had some parts that were too fibrous to chew on and the truffle cream on top tasted more like store bought mayo - past that they were ok. The meat was what is normal to this region - the chips that accompany them were disappointing. At this price point, if the sum of parts are not coming together, then it’s not a satisfying meal.

Great food and great service My wife and I went there for dinner and we enjoyed a great meal and a great evening. The waiters are nice and helpful, and the service was quick and smooth. The food was exquisite. As a starter, we shared a delicious plate of local cheese, ham, and lomo. For the main course I had 'Carrilleras de Buey al Pedro Ximénez' --- tender braised ox cheeks with a sauce based on sweet sherry. This was truly great. For dessert, I had the cheese cake which was also very good. We let the waiter choose a good, local wine for os and finished with 'licor de bellota' --- acorn liqueur. All in all, the best food we've had in Trujillo. We paid 89€ for the starter, our two main courses, two desserts, a bottle of wine, two bottles of sparkling water, and two chupitos of licor de bellota. Well worth the money. PS.: We visited the place during Easter and found it to be a very busy place with a noisy bar at the entrance. The restaurant is in the back room which was also a bit noisy but much less so than the bar. We had to make reservations beforehand, as the place seems to be full every evening.

We had ibérico ham and presa ibérica (coal) and they were very tasty! The only reason for not giving 5 star was the service. We were not informed about the daily specials and only ordered after 20 min of getting there and the restaurant was still almost empty.

Exquisite food (we had a salad which was super fresh and delicious, the duck and the pluma, both cooked to perfection with lovely sauces, veggies and potatoes, all very tasty and very nicely presented). Service was attentive and kind. Priced just right.

Google
Fantastic location, very sweet and polite waiters however food quality not living up to the possibilities this restaurant could have. Croquetas were cold and after they were told they heated them but brought the same ones back that they took(microwave oven?) the pork was beautiful served but overcooked and the desert was with canned peaches and what looked to be canned whipped cream(milhojas) such a shame as it is a beautiful place, waiters super nice but at the end a restaurant have to be evaluated on the food quality.

The food was great, however service was very slow. We were hungry and waited very long for starters and main courses to arrive. Next to that, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, which we communicated to the waiters, and which was not fixed by the end of our lunch (over 2 hours later).

Yelp
We went there on a foggy cold night in January. It was practically the only restaurant open, but it didn't disappoint. Excellent food, croquettes, cod, shrimp and dessert. The service was excellent. Give it a try.., this town is worthy the trip!

Yelp
Enjoyed a romantic dinner in the intimacy of the courtyard. The food was great, would highly recommend the delicias de langostinos which were homemade prawn and leek croquetas. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and attentive and Alfonso recommended an amazing bottle of red wine, COLOMA GRACIANO 2011
