This was the BEST hostel we stayed at the entire time my friend and I were in Columbia. The front desk guy speaks English very well which is sooooo helpful for us English speakers. He booked us for different tours and was so amazing. The room was nice, clean, and the shower was hot. Breakfast was good and you eat on the roof overlooking the street. It's cool. We met the best fellow travelers here! This is a GREAT place to stay!!

Really nice chilled hostel. Staff were great and helped us with everything we needed. We had a double room with a shared bathroom, but it was right outside our door so felt like a private and was really clean. Lots of places to sit and relax after a day out in medillin. The rooftop bar/kitchen is great and comfy. Breakfast was also what made this place excellent for us. It was included in the room and you can choose what you want from 3 options and it's made fresh for you by the lovely staff. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Good hostel, not very a very sociable place. Didn’t see any rooms with windows so dorms got a bit smelly. The breakfast on the rooftop was amazing - try the muesli. The lads who work at the counter are quite friendly and helpful. There were 3 private bathrooms downstairs. The showers are hot but can be temperamental and can get very very hot. Our private room was a bit disappointing because of the no windows and it was actually a bunk bed, we should’ve stayed in a dorm. I think it’s pretty average hostel - you could find better in Medellin.

Great hostel in a nicer part of Medellin. The owners and every employee were very nice and helpful. This is a great place to meet people with their big and spacious rooftop terrace. This isn't a party hostel, but a good place to meet people to party with if that makes sense. I highly recommend this place. I was in Columbia for 19 days and this was one of my favorite places I stayed. The bathrooms are very clean and have great showers with hot water. Bonus.....it has free hot breakfast with eggs, toast, fruit and fresh squeezed juice for the same price as other hostels in the same area with no breakfast.

An honest, no frills hostel. The roof terrace and kitchen were both great. Free breakfast was very tasty! Bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. Dorms were basic and comfortable, although lockers were fairly small. The WiFi did not work in Bahia Solano private room and was weak in the dorms, but worked well in the reception lounge. Be aware that if you cancel a reservation within 24 hours, you’ll owe full payment.

Really a great hostel - feels like home :) I have been here for 4 nights already and literally everyone in the staff is really friendly, greet you with a warm smile or jokes around with you. They go beyond their duty to help. Thank you, David and all the others, for the good time I am having here! The breakfast is freshly prepared for every single guest and you always have 3 options - or you can prepare it yourself. There is always coffee and lots of different types of tea and if you are still hungry you can ask them for more... if you are nice to them I'm sure they return the favor. I had a private room and enjoyed the good beds and quiet past midnight. Yet, if you want company you can find it on the rooftop before that or in the many restaurants around the hostel.

This hostel is amazing in a very chill way. Manila is such a cute barrio! I met some great people here, the staff is excellent & so helpful, it's attached to a cafe with vino/cerveza/coffee, and the rooftop is pretty w/ tons of places to sit. The breakfast is cooked for each person individually - SO nice! Eggs, fruit, juice, toast, coffee, tea. They did their best to upkeep the bathrooms as much as possible. But - why does the second floor get hand soap and the first floor bathrooms do not? This could be easily fixed. My room was absolutely tiny though (4 bunks) & you need a tiny lock - standard sized locks are too big (I hate this - forcing you to buy a new one)

Very Tranquil vibe with super interesting travelers. The owners are a young French couple who treat you like family, definitely not the vibe from the other party hostels around town. Amazingly kept, its clean and the beds are brand new! Kitchen is fantastic, and with a 3 minute walk to Exito for groceries, It's ideal for the penny-squeezing traveler. Amazing coffee and toast/jam/butter and fruit juice every morning, free. I will come back next time I'm in Colombia. One of the best hostel experiences I've had.
