My visit to El Arbol de Dios Fernando Llort Gallery in San Salvador was nothing short of outstanding. It was an exceptionally intimate and enlightening experience, thanks in large part to German. He took the time to walk us through the Gallery, sharing in-depth insights about Fernando Llort's art and life.
What struck me most was the opportunity to meet the four incredible women who work there, meticulously hand-painting each piece of art. Witnessing their dedication and understanding how much Fernando Llort's legacy means to each of them was deeply moving. The sense of collaboration and unity among the staff left a lasting impression on me, highlighting the center's importance as not just an art space but a community.
Adding to the experience was meeting Fernando Llort's eldest son, whose humility and warm welcome made our visit even more special. My only regret from this visit is not having brought back more of their beautiful art pieces. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to the country, and a return trip to this remarkable art space is at the top of my list.
