What a friendly hotel this is!! The owners allowed us to store our motorcycles here for 4 days while we went to the Amazon, even though we only spent one night here. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast included eggs and fruit and coffee. The people are really nice. Really recommend!

The man who worked at the reception was very kind and helpful. He helped me when I arrived early and went above and beyond to look for yours for me. The rooms are very nice and clean! Excellent service.

This place is just awesome! The location is perfect to explore Quito, a lot of great restaurants, a laundry and a big supermarket are nearby. They serve a great breakfast. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The place is secure, because they have a 24h reception and check who comes in and out.

We had a great six night stay here. Thought went into the decor, and the staff was wonderful and very friendly, most of them didn't speak much English but they were very patient and kind with our attempts at Spanish. The included breakfast was great - eggs, toast, coffee/tea, bananas, some kind of fresh chopped fruit (varied day to day) and a fresh juice. ||||Based on some other reviews we were wary of the noise being so close to Plaza Foch, but we didn't have a problem with hearing music at all, even on the weekend. I forget our room number, but we were right on the garden, and what was noisy was the doorbell - you have to ring to be let in (a great safety feature) and the bell was right outside our room. It wasn't that big a deal for us, we could have asked to change rooms but didn't bother, our room was a bit bigger than the others we looked at and that was more important to us, but something to be aware of. ||||The location is great. Lots of restaurants around Plaza Foch, and a $2 Uber to go up to Carolina Park or down to the Old Town. ||||Plenty of hot water in the shower. The Wifi was strong even in our room. There is a kitchen if you want to cook. Filtered water available to fill your water bottles. We saw the Sparkling Violetear Hummingbird in the garden daily. And there is a cozy social vibe. I wouldn't call this a party hostel at all, thank goodness, but we met some really fun and interesting people at the breakfasts that we hung out with while we were there which was great. ||||If you go out the back door, there is a small trendy restaurant immediately to the left that serves great "menu del dia" lunches for $3.50. It was all locals when we went, definitely recommended.

Back in the day you would call this locale “quaint”. People shouldn’t expect too much for the price....you should know this is a basic hotel with basic amenities. ||Pros: easy walking distance to the night life and hustle of Plaza Foch (if you like that stuff), quiet street, friendly staff, hot water aplenty and a decent free breakfast. Lots of tourist shops around.||Cons: older furnishings and towels, noisy inside b/c of all the tile flooring, some evenings it was a bit cool. The kitchen is common space so late at night the fellow visitors can be noisy making food and drinks. The trip advisor listings says handicapped accessible but I don’t see how that would be possible.||All my questions via email were answered promptly and accurately including my quoted room price, late night arrival, and airport transportation.||It this is the type of accommodation you are looking for, I recommend it.

Nice place located in a good area. The rooms are OK, clean, and big. Sometimes it can get noisy or rooms can't get really dark at night cause the curtains are too thin. Breakfast is good although I wish they had more options.

We stayed at this hostal for a total of 4 nights during our stay in Ecuador. The 2 rooms we stayed in were both very nice and clean. The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful As well. The location is great with lots of bars and restaurants nearby . If your looking to visit Quito on a budget I would highly recommend this property.

Friendly staff offered a discount because we were only staying a few hours before our flight at 5am. Very close within walking distance to Plaza Fuchs where all the nice bars and clubs are. Its located in a quiet street next to several other hostels. Its more pricey than the others but looks better and it has a kitchen and breakfast included. Unfortunately I did not try the breakfast since I had to catch my plane. I contacted a local taxi guy who showed up on time to take me to the airport amd the friendly staff helpped and were accommodating with waking me up and giving their phone to the taxi guy to.make sure I got to the airport to catch my flight. They had hot water and good shower and good warm blankets for the cold nights of Quito.
