El Balcón Cusco Hotel

My favorite place that I stayed in Cusco! I stayed in a garden room and the vibes were immaculate. Beautiful plants, hardwood floors in the rooms, and comfortable beds. The entire aesthetic of the hotel is very pleasant and natural; my friend and I wished that we had more nights here. The breakfast in the morning is nice and there is always tea available.

We stayed at El Balcón for 3 nights before doing the Salkantay trek and one night after. We had a family room. It was great since we were traveling with two teenagers. There was plenty of space for everyone. The room was clean and spacious. They had extra blankets and robes. We didn’t need them in October though. We loved the view from our balcony and from the gardens outside. Breakfast was amazing and included with our stay. They had a selection of fresh fruit, juices, avocado, breads, yogurt, coffee and teas. They also give you the choice of pancakes and eggs made to order. Everything was so fresh and delicious. It was a great way to start the day. It was also close to everything but far enough away to avoid the night club noise at night.

The place is beautiful, and super close to the main square and many other shops and restaurants (walking distance, but it is not a flat walk, it's a little bit steep but not too much... ) ||If you are a light sleeper maybe you'll hear some music from some bars around or cars passing etc... |Although the beds were super comfortable and the room was very warm, and the actual hotel is very quiet , there is some noise coming from the surroundings that are out of the hotel's control. ||The breakfast is excellent, organic and local fruits, there is variety to choose from and everything was delicious. |Also tried the dinner in their same restaurant and it was great as well 👍 |Service is also excellent.

Definitely not for people with mobility problems.|One way traffic so if travel by taxi, you have to rush out to load/unload bags with other cars behind you honking impatiently |The breakfast box was sad with bread and a slice of cheese! Disappointed |10% service fees on your booking

superb little hotel in the heart of Cusco. cozy and charming, great breakfast, the kitchen crew are the best🥰 a few improvemenet areas: (1) wifi needs to be fixed it barely works; (2) i would really appreciate the hair conditioner because shampoo/shower gel is not particularly great.

It‘s a nice little no-frills boutique hotel. It is perfectly located to explore Cusco. However, the rooms are very dark, damp and noisy - we slept terribly both nights.

This quaint place is tucked in the heart of Cusco. You enter the charming enclosed courtyard with its wooden doors and stucco architecture and lovely plants that adds to the experience. Our room was so cozy with warm heavy blankets and a heater for the chilly evenings. Hospitality included two bottles of filtered water, oranges, as well as laundry service. All in all the staff was so friendly and accommodating to our large group of 16 for our four night stay. The morning breakfast spread included coffee, fresh fruits and granola, but also a menu of items that the kitchen staff Jaunita and Diane made quickly. You must try the pancakes! Delicious. They also make dinner as well. One night they fed our large group three different choices of dinner and we all got our food within minutes of each other. That's incredible for a small kitchen. These two women are very skilled at what they do. |This was a wonderful stay at El Balcon. We highly recommend this place.

El Balcon is a beautiful small hotel, well located to central Cusco. The interior courtyard is lovely and the views from the first floor are tremendous. Breakfast was delicious (pancakes highly recommended) and the reception staff gave us lots of information for a day of sightseeing. We also used the laundry service and it was great. The only negative is that we went during 'party month' in the city which meant that celebrations were pretty much throughout the night. It should not detract from visiting, I just wore ear plugs as I am a light sleeper.
