El Bodegón was recommended to us by a friendly gentleman at the tourist information booth—and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is small, charming, and full of character, offering a cozy and authentic dining experience.
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, while my parents enjoyed the spaghetti with shrimp. Both dishes were flavorful and generously portioned—definitely big enough to share, although they also work well as individual meals if you’re hungry.
Despite arriving during the busy lunch rush, the service was exceptional. The staff kindly provided chairs for us to wait outside and regularly checked in with updates on our table. Their attentiveness made the short wait feel easy and welcoming.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and would absolutely recommend El Bodegón to anyone visiting Lima and looking for a satisfying, well-priced meal in a warm, local atmosphere. Don’t miss it!
