El Burro Greenpoint

A very cute Mexican restaurants with amazing food. We had chicken and fish tacos and margaritas. The guac and chips were also amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try the other food. Slightly pricey at R64 for one taco but worth it.

Had a lovely dinner at El Burro. The food was fresh and full of flavor, but what made the experience really special was Ana-Jose. She was so warm and kind—her smile and energy made us feel truly welcome. Grateful for the care and heart she brought to the evening!

Hidden Gem. Friendly and polite staff. Food was good. Churro's was our highlight. It Gets packed in this quant 🌮 restaurant be sure to know when best to visit. All about timing. It's easy on the wallet and worth the visit to experience a taste of Mexican freshness.

Lovely little Mexican restaurant on Main Road. Atmosphere great and decor fun. Great food. Well worth a visit.

Incredible food + drinks. Our waitress Gabi made excellent recommendations and was so inviting! Jamie was also amazing. Our table was looked after like we were royalty. Whilst the food was incredible I would come back just for the amazing service! 20/10 experience. Great job Girls!!!

TEQUILA & TACOS !! Great cocktails and tasty tacos. Probably not “authentic” but who cares when they taste damn good. Margaritas and Palomas (cocktails) were tasty and reasonably priced. We had the beef, chicken and pork tacos; and they were all very good. Chips, guacamole and salsa to start were also excellent and a healthy portion. WARNING: FOOD IS SPICY 🌶️ Service was attentive and speedy. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The service was excellent, and the space was beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of the visit was the horchata, which was unlike any I have had before. It had a unique flavor that really stood out. We also really enjoyed the tacos and guacamole, especially when paired with the darker chile sauce that added a rich and smoky depth. The ceviche was not our favorite, but it was our first time trying linefish, so it was still an interesting experience. We felt it could have used a bit more acidity and a stronger kick to bring the flavors to life. Overall, it was a lovely meal with thoughtful presentation and friendly service. This place is great for anyone looking for a California, Baja, or Cabo type Mexican restaurant to satisfy their crave.

Sons love Mexican food so they love this place...me, not so much, small, quaint in that grandma who lives alone and doesn't want too much trouble keeping up a place vibe. Loved the margaritas. Great bar lady who really tries to please!
